Thanks @Neurotic90 it's hard sometimes isn't it. You sound similar to me after being off the pill and being irregular. Definately push for gp as that's the only reason I got my pcos diagnosis, I had to bloody beg for a blood test etc. They're awful.

@PosiPantsOn welcome to the long cycle club :) how long have you been ttc? I hope the metformin helps. I've heard about it but not sure what it does, could you share?

Thanks @Neurotic90 and @Newbie0818 around 2 years but with incredibly irregular periods so I’m considering this our second cycle. The hope is that the metformin will help regulate my ovulation. Typically I’ve had anything between 40+ day cycles up to 130. So far my last cycle was 34, pretty much the shortest cycle in my life and this looks like it may be the same. Feeling really positive. I’ve felt like it’s all been so out of my control up to now, keeping everything crossed.

Yeah, I'll definitely push with the GP when next cycle comes I think. My GP is usually pretty good but I'm strangely anxious about the whole video call thing due to their covid protocols, I'd rather have a normal appointment 😂.

It’s definitely worth a go @Neurotic90 my GP is so lovely, the online/phone consultations have been strange but really worth it. We paid to have a private consultation recently as we were referred just before lock down and that’s a whole other story. That took place over zoom and was so so helpful! Highly recommend if you can/want to

Temp is up yesterday and today so fingers crossed it stays up and I ovulated CD51 🤞🏻. This is the highest it's been this cycle excluding the days I was unwell so surely this is it?!

@Neurotic90 I'm ok thank you :) I think I may be ovulating soon as have been getting lots of ewcm the last 2 days. Just very stressed with work this week so trying to keep a level head 🤯

How are you getting on @PosiPantsOn? Do you think you'll test early or are you holding off until AF is due?

My temps have stayed up so pretty confident I'm 5DPO, small possibility I'm 6DPO going by OPKs. I'm feeling strangely hopeful this time and I'm not sure its a good idea!

No news as such @Neurotic90! Amazing news about your temp, keeping everything crossed for you. One app is saying AF should have arrived yesterday, the other says Monday, tested yesterday and BFN, but that was only maybe 11dpo. Going to try to wait to test on Sunday. My temperature has stayed up but has been a bit sporadic, had a significant spike yesterday but it’s come down again a little today so who knows! Trying to keep positive! How are you feeling?

Sounds promising that your temp is still up, hopefully this is your month! Keeping everything crossed Sunday is a great day for you.

I'm fine thanks, trying and failing to not think about it too much. First cycle temping so having to keep talking myself out of poas, not used to knowing how many dpo I am 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ah gosh I know it’s hard isn’t it. I’ve had heartburn non stop for almost 5 days and a bit nauseous with it, but I’m sure it’s the metformin rather than anything else but it doesn’t stop my mind jumping to conclusions! So frustrating!

I'm now 7dpo but hasn't been confirmed with temps - it's a weird one! Fingers crossed for you!

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. Not sure if I’m 6DPO or 3DPO as both apps tell me different. I’m sure I’ve ovulated though as boobs are really tender. Sorry I’ve been quite for a while been really stressed with being out of work again due to lockdown and the doctors now think I have vertigo.

I seem to have had a temp shift this morning but I messed up and forgot to take it at the normal time, so it may just be an anomaly, I suppose I'll see soon 🤷🏼‍♀️

I tested this morning, BFN 😔 temps are still up and down but up, if that makes sense. Have still been feeling so nauseous and so much heartburn which I think is definitely the metformin. Going to see if/when AF shows up!

Hey girls, sorry I lost you for a bit I kept refreshing my "I'm on" page instead of the watching page and I hadn't posted on thread number 3 yet. AF came 15 days after I thought I had picked up ovulation on my bbt so yay for a 14 day LP and yay for picking up ovulation. It made my cycle 59 days 🙄 fingers crossed for a shorter cycle going forward. Hope everyone is okay

@Newbie0818 no more testing for me lol not good for my mental health! I just let each month come and go. Had a great chat with my other half that about it and we will be ok if we don't have any kids.

@Newbie0818 tests just freak us out don't they? It's almost worse seeing a negative than getting my period! It probably sounds so bad but mentally Ive decided to give up at age 30 and I know loads of ladies go on the have kids after 30 but I really don't think it's for me at that age..
