TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Sore boobs is a v.good sign! Only ever had sore boobs when preg. Sounds daft but could always feel them going up and down the steps. Just dont make same mistake as me and test too early. Best off waiting until the day your period is due xx

General question - does anyone know what the advised DTD window is after a peak OPK? I am worried that I focus too much on the days before and predicted day of O, but we find it hard to keep the momentum up after O day. Tried the every other day in the month method last month but did feel it was getting harder to manage, but if thats one of the better ways, I can perservere!

Thank you , im positive for next month. Just do it every other day ( unless you have irregular cycle) for a week and bin those opks honestly! Few glasses of vino in between 🤪. I tried them this time and fed up of weeing on sticks , not putting myself under the pressure again 🤯 xxx

Hi @MgW1 thanks for your reply! Glad to hear you are feeling positive 👍 yeah that sounds like a good approach, it is time consuming and can get stressy with the tracking. Haha i hear you with the wine 🤣 Ive cut right back on drinking during the 2ww (not that I was a big tipper anyway 🙈) but I do miss it sometimes. Xx

@MgW1 Yes I am using preseed still! Im running a bit low, so if no luck this month will have to buy again. Bloody pricey for what it is, but I read so many good reviews. Are you still using it? Xx

Hey @Bmeggar! I generally dont drink during 2ww. The last couple of months I cut right back and was pretty much teetotal but my god it was hard. Especially when DH and I normally enjoy a few nice G&Ts at the weekend. This month, I have enjoyed some drinks up until O day. Last weekend with fresh news of lockdown led me to cracking open the prosecco and just thought sod it! Xx

@gracie2307 I was literally on the verge of giving up with opks - I thought id give it one more go today and I got a peak! Not sure why I had such big temp dips earlier on. DTD last night and will try again tonight. I’ve bought pre seed too. We have DTD every other day but because I seem to have a peak, thought worth a go again today to cover all bases. Definitely running out of momentum!

How are you getting on?

This is the worst time of the month lol. I tend to swing from trying to act casual about it all to full on Google every single symptom and think its a sign 🙈 xx

X1 1000mg capsule per day for 1/2 you cycle. So i have a 30 day cycle so il take to day 15. Helps make fertile mucus so thought id give it a bash.xx

@MgW1 I think I'll give this a bash next month too if don't get a bfp next week 👍

Just checked cp i think I'm out its low and firm googled and said end of ovulation so maybe we were late

@gracie2307 hope that cold goes soon. I’m exactly the same in 2ww, I go from ‘what will be wil be’ to full on crazy researcher! I guess I will be with you in the 2ww very shortly!

So one of the mums at my daughters school has had a 1 night stand during the summer hols and is pregnant. Initially I thought how irresponsible and then I thought how does a 35 year old woman get pregnant so easy ? OMG! Maybe i should try and create a bar in my kitchen and my husband and I should take our wedding rings off and pretend we dont know each other. We could create a '1 night stand date night?' Maybe that might help us to conceive 🤪?? Might try it during lock down , try and be creative and all that 🤣🤣 xx

@MgW1 honestly what are the odds of that! Judging by my stats I’d have to have a one night stand every other day of the month for most the year!

Its crap isnt it! Made me think that I dont want the Dtd to become a chore!! Its hard when we cant go out and so restricted at the mo , months since we had a date night!! xxx

@gracie2307 don't worry, this is my first time on here in about a week I'm sure. I'm good, ovulated on cd17 when I normally ovulate on cd10-12 so think I will be really late this month now 🙈 doesn't tally up with the pink mucus at the start of the month either so no idea what that was about. I have just realised that I haven't noticed any abdominal pains that I normally get all month long so that is a little different for me but that's about it. How are you doing?
