@Pudding01 & @EllyNC good luck for tomorrow and Sunday. @HerringGull just come off so I’ll start testing from tomorrow. Does anyone know if it is imperative you test first thing, I’ll be a nightmare at that. I’ll remember after my first coffee ha

HerringGull · 27/11/2020 20:26

@cc7750 yeah it's really important it's the same time each day, before you even get out of bed! Mine varies by half an hour at most. You can go back to sleep after though! 😆

Cc7750 · 27/11/2020 20:29

@HerringGull I’ll be a nightmare at this! but I’ll give it a whirl and I’ll def share the chart when I’ve got enough info to even work it out!

Emz1995 · 27/11/2020 21:07

@EllyNC yes that first test in my picture was day 10! There was absolutely nothing there and then it wasn’t until 11DPO when something actually showed up

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 21:11

@Emz1995 now I want to test tomorrow 😫🤣

EllyNC · 27/11/2020 21:44

@Emz1995 Did you use frer?
@Pudding01hahaha me too!

EllyNC · 27/11/2020 21:45

@Emz1995 ignore! Just seen the picture!! I need to track down some frer!!!

Aila1994 · 27/11/2020 22:41

@coffeewithmilk I’m so sorry to hear about this! Hopefully it’s not a chemical pregnancy, it can be normal to bleed in early pregnancy 😣! My fingers are crossed for a good result, but if it turns out to be bad news, take it easy this weekend.

Aila1994 · 27/11/2020 22:42

This one is for everyone who has already fallen pregnant. How many cycles did it take before you got your BFP? We’ve only tried this month for the first time, but I felt like we would get pregnant straight away, no idea why! So it’s left me a bit deflated 😣.

Cc7750 · 27/11/2020 23:10

@coffeewithmilk I’m so sorry 😞, chemical pregnancies are tough x let us know how you feel tomorrow

Cc7750 · 27/11/2020 23:13

@Aila1994 - for me that’s tough. I came off pill earlier in year but almost avoided fertile time for a few months. Then casually just wasn’t watching what I was doing but obvs weren’t doing it on right dates. In august I downloaded app, in September I paid attention to app and from Oct I started doing ovulation strips! So I’d say ‘trying at the right time’ 3 months x (but I am late 30’s so I assume it will take me longer - so I may not be the best example!) x

Cc7750 · 27/11/2020 23:15

@Aila1994 didn’t even read your question properly! It was aimed at ladies that have got babies or pregnant.. that’s not me! Sorry read too quickly

Emz1995 · 27/11/2020 23:19

@EllyNC @EllyNC291yeah I used the first response 6 days earlier, they seemed to be the most sensitive I can find and only need a really small amount of HCG to show that second line. They are expensive in the shops but you can get 2 for around £6 on Amazon

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 23:20

@Aila1994 I've been pregnant 3 times, first one conceived first month & second 3 months, but both ectopic. My DD took 3 months.

But then I tried for a year from when she was 10 months and wasn't successful. Think I had 1 or 2 chemical pregnancies.

This is my first month trying again 2 years later. Even with my experience, I still believed I would fall pregnant first month. I think it's just how we are when we really want something ❤ Don't lose hope x

EllyNC · 28/11/2020 05:54

Took me two months to conceive first time round @Aila1994- which tbh I think has given me false hope it will be quick this time too when it probably won’t be!! ☹️
I tried to order a frer yesterday from amazon but none of them can arrive for a week soooo pointless really as I’ll know by then anyway!! I do love a frer, defo most sensitive. I’m gonna hung in some pharmacies today

Twinkle1989 · 28/11/2020 06:55

@Aila1994 we tried September (missed the window because I was ill so don't really count this), October and November - so two proper attempts and on the second we have a positive tests - I am 4 weeks + 4 today ❤️

I think I had been a bit quiet on here, I then posted on the Tuesday how I had a mini melt down, I had assumed I would be pregnant immediately, sex had turned clinical which was exactly what DP didn't want, I was obsessive with OPK, it felt like everywhere I went there were babies and I thought there must be something the matter with me - I don't have time to waste as I'm 30. Everyone on here were amazing and assured me that they'd all gone through these feelings - I stopped testing and on the Friday felt unwell - I did a FR and it was positive!

Your emotional are totally normal and to be expected! I was sat thinking how do people fall pregnant accidentally, with babies that they don't want, don't care for etc and I'm sat here desperate for a baby who would be so very loved and have a stable upbringing. It was breaking my heart.

It may take time but I will happen for you ❤️ I know I was obsessive about OPK but I do think that the CB connected app helped as it put it all into a calendar with a Fertilily ❤️

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 08:36

So I caved and tested again - 11 dpo

I'm either just staring at an indent line or the world's most squintiest of squinters! 🙈 Yesterday's didn't have either, which helped lol

What I can say is two of my closest bessies, both 38 in last few months have fallen (which is prob why I feel extra pressure). One was trying for 6 months (and she had breast cancer and thought it would never happen) and the other one wasn’t even trying and she just fell. I do think stress and worry delays it. It is so much easier to say don’t stress than it is to put into practice but I do believe that overthinking it puts extra pressure on your body x

Cc7750 · 28/11/2020 08:41

@Pudding01 I think on the first one I can see a line!

EllyNC · 28/11/2020 09:18

@Pudding01 I can maybeeeeee see one in the first pic?? I’m not sure!! Looks like there could be a hint of something there! Have you got another for tomorrow? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I got up and went straight for a wee before I could talk myself into doing a test haha 🤣 gonna find a frer to try either tomorrow or Monday if no early AF!

EllyNC · 28/11/2020 09:19

@Cc7750 absolutely!! Was talking to my husband about this this morning- he was like ‘it may well take longer, but that’s fine’- but the pressure I put on myself and the stress for it to happen is hard to manage!! Easy to say ‘dont stress’, much harder to actually do it!!

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 10:20

@Cc7750 @EllyNC I'm the same. Really couldn't my finger on indent or squinter! So i went back to bed 😂 AF can show up anytime between now and Wednesday with how my cycles used to be! Do have 2 more tests as I bought in bulk from Amazon lol

Can totally relate to understanding it may take longer in our 30s. I'm 34 next month and my DP is 42. We are quite chill at the moment. He even joked saying he hopes i'm not so he can have another month of trying 🙈

Cc7750 · 28/11/2020 10:54

@Pudding01 ha that’s brilliant, that’s men for you but his age will never matter. Men can go on forever! And 34 your a wee one you are fine. I live in Brighton but worked abroad for years and in London. The girls in the smoke were almost shocked when I said my mates were having kids early 30’s.. but I suppose that’s part of what london life can be

Cc7750 · 28/11/2020 10:55

P.a day 1 with the thermometer and forgot first thing... ha this is going to work really well for me I can tell!

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 16:42

Ahh man, the ache is string today. Got a circle of aching around lower tummy, hips and lower back. Headache and feeling really warm.
If this is the build up to AF then she's going to be a beast!! please be symptoms. Please be symptoms 🙏

How you feeling @EllyNC?
