Hi all, hope it's ok to join in? I'm 41 been with my dp for 5 years we both have children from previous relationships but not together. Been trying casually for two years and apart from one mc 2.5 years ago nothing. Glad for any help and advice as I think it's time to step things up a notch and be more active with it!

@LittleAurora what prompt you to test? What are your symptoms.
Af due Monday and I am currently having the worst headache

@Happyhappy37 thank you, I've heard about lots of different pre conception vitamins etc just don't have a clue what's good!

Symptoms are
Headache
Sore nipples
Last night has excruciating cramps.
Of my food
Sleepy

I tested because I'm desperate to know if I'm pregnant or not lol

How are you feeling?

@MgW1 I get cramps pretty much for the whole month but I’ve actually got a prolapse (how much do I regret not doing my pelvic floor exercises a bit more last time 🙈) so think that causes lots of my problems. I think prolapse can cause infertility too so not even sure it’s possible for me to get pregnant. Did you manage to rearrange your scan?

@Marvellouslymadmum have you been doing any monitoring/tracking? I’m considering an Ava bracelet or similar but not sure they’re worth the investment.

@Marvellouslymadmum they are tons of different vitamins and you hear so much conflicting things about them. Lol its makes you feel overwhelm.
What vitamins did you take with your previous pregnancies?

@GuessHowMuch I've been taking my bbt for the last four months but trying to work that out is nothing easy! Then last month o forgot for a few days and decided to start again in January but looking back now that was right around ovulation kind of time and now a week late with a 2xbfn! I looked at the abs bracelets but they're an added expense I just can't justify at the moment.

@Happyhappy37 it's very overwhelming! I think with my son I just started taking folic acid once pregnant and my daughter the seven seas or similar the folic acid once I was but I fell pregnant pretty much straight away with both and was only 25/26 at the time. I know my partner was told years ago he has low motility but that was before he had two healthy babies, I'm just trying to think of anything that may help!

@LittleAurora your symptoms does sound promising.
I don't know my dpo and don't even know if we dtd enough to cover ovulation time frame.
2 days ago I had terrible lower back pain with abdominal cramps.
Having headache all day
That's it really. I pay no attention to it. Lol pretty sure af will bless me with her presence.

@Marvellouslymadmum why not start with vitamin d and folic acid, most of us ladies on the group take it as a starting point.
Then you could seek advice from gp about what other fertility support you can take

Waiting another week to see if af arrives and if not I'll test again, I'll be two weeks late by then so will call gp if I get another bfn

@Marvellouslymadmum welcome to this lovely group! 😃 The whole TTC thing is a bit crazy! Similar to the others here, I take folic acid and Vit D, but have just ordered CoQ10 as it got good reviews in another group! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

7/8 dpo and my clearblue advanced fertility moniter is saying high. Why??!!!

Hi ladies.

How is everyone doing?

So I’m a day late but I’m pretty sure AF is coming because I’ve had the usual cramps.

The body can cruelly make us believe it’s something else when it’s not so don’t want to get my hopes up!
I would say I have had AF symptoms more than pregnancy but have noticed I’ve had really itchy boobs and constipation the past couple of days.

I don’t have any tests to test but don’t want to yet anyway. I will wait and see if AF arrives today or tomorrow.

@LittleAurora LH can rise before a period apparently... LH can also be mistaken by tears for the pregnancy hormone 👀

I did a cheap opk and it's negative 😡

I am 7dpo and I did one this am 🤣 negative of course!!

My boobs ache!!!!! They feel so heavy and sore. Nipples are super sensitive as well.

Its been 3 days and my head ache is still lingering. Horrible feeling

Im ok , I have zero symptoms of anything , its too early to tell! 8dpo. I did a cheap test and got an evap line xx

@MgW1 fingers crossed for you. I've never tested during the tww.
