Just to let you ladies know , my pregnancy ended in a loss 1 week following a positive test. Do you know if its classed as a chemical at this stage? I am disappointed but we shall try again. I have had 2 know 14 weeks & 5 weeks and worried I have fibroids or something courtesy of google!! I dont think doc will refer me for a scan until I have had 3 mc's but found somewhere privately that does a well woman scan , il see how I get on. Hope your all ok xx

I'm so so sorry @MgW1 I've been there. It's cruel that this happens.

I remember finding out I was pregnant and then looking into buying a new car to fit the kids in as current one too small and the next day it was over - I couldn't get my head around it. Didn't even know that this could happen this early.

I don't know what it's classed as sorry. I remember telling my GP I'd had a chemical pregnancy (after googling) and she had no idea what I was on about she called it an early miscarriage.

Glad to hear you can get a scan to find out what's going on as hopefully that'll help and give you a solution. You're getting pregnant which is amazing it's just holding onto it and hopefully they can rectify this. Fingers crossed for you xx

Thank you. I think im going to have the scan done privately - my mum had fibroids in late 30's so just feel i need some reassurance although it wouldnt be the end of the world as they can be removed. Just worried iv had 2 in a row. Xxx

@MgW1 I’m so sorry to hear that. Is a chemical when you test before af and get a positive test and then it goes negative/ you get af? A scan sounds like a good idea to reassure you.

I’m currently on day 2 of AF. Annoyingly this month I had 4 days of spotting beforehand which messed it up a bit.

Il continue with the acupuncture i think and see what happens. She told me to keep trying. I had an early mc before my daughter about 8 years ago. Had more miscarriages than children now.
Are you using opks this time? Think im taking a laid back approach this time as will want a few xmas drinks. Last month we abstained from alcohol for the full month!! Never again 🤣 xx

Hi @MgW1 I'm 40 this month and had always said I'd finish trying at 40. For a while there I thought I'd carry on beyond that but I don't know. 6 months without a peep. I've a box of unopened CBF sticks £30 from Amazon I bought a couple of weeks ago and put my ubiquinol on hold. Still taking the folic acid but not the whole bucket of supplements I was taking. Back drinking some coffee too which didn't before. Dunno bit flat.

How are you holding up?

Yes have a few coffees and maybe a few more wines and take a laid back approach. I think its possible to try too hard , it gets very stressful. As for the age , id deffo keep at it a bit longer ?! Have you tried evening primrose ? X

Yes absolutely and if I need a procedure then id rather know sooner than later as clock ticking! Unfortunately after my miscarriage in the summer @14 weeks I really should have had a d&c but due to covid I was sent some with a box of paracetamols! Anyway i have had such heavy periods post 1st miscarriage that I wouldnt be suprised If i end up needing that d&c after all xx

@MgW1 - do you think it was because of covid they didn't have time to treat you properly? Do you feel recovered? How are you?

I took EPO this cycle and I thought it had messed up my cycle - I was getting low fertility on the days last month I had a peak. I stopped taking it and then got a peak but I know it worked for you! Three stopped my nightsweats though!

Yes i am ok now. I think it messed my cycle up too so not using it again. Decided to put ttc on back burner for a month or so. I have a course of acupuncture for 4 weeks from 6th jan. I am hopefully having a pelvic scan in Jan and thought id ring G.p and see if I can get my smear brought forward from March to next month while im at it. Also got a blood test. Feels like an M.O.T 🤣 but anyway its peace of mind xx

I think you're doing the right thing @MgW1 getting all checks done and acupuncture etc sorted even to put your mind at rest which is meant to help too.

Yes got smear booked in january now but may get earlier cancellation. A friend of mine got preg after a smear and it then came back that it was abnormal but had to wait til after she had given birth to remove cells. It was just added stress. Will start trying after 2 more cycles now and forget about it for time being , hope you have a lovely xmas and new year xxx

Hey ladies, after some gutting news this morning, it looks like we'll be back TTC as soon as we can! 😔😔😔 Scan was brought forwards (I am/was/supposed to be just over 10 weeks) as I started experiencing some spotting on Mon, and it doesn't look good. Unfortunately, we need to go back next week for it to be confirmed for definite. 💔💔💔 Sorry to bring the group down, but you ladies always make me smile and have so much positivity and experience, so I just wanted to offload! And also say hello to anyone I've missed these weeks that I've been away! 😘

@MgW1 sorry to hear also that you have experienced early mc. Sounds like you have a good plan in place re an mot! Doesn’t make it any easier to experience though. Be kind to yourself and just enjoy all the wine and food over Christmas that is a good shout! 🥂

Thank you, ladies! 😘 Unfortunately, it seems pretty definite. I should be over 10 weeks, but the scan is nowhere near that - maybe 5 weeks. 💔 I'll find out more next week, but at least we know we can get pregnant.

Hopefully I can start TTC soon and all of us get lots of BFPs that lead to healthy babies in 2021! 🤞🏻

Hope everyone is doing well, I can't believe it's Christmas next week!!!
