@kirinm

6dpo today and no symptoms (obviously)!

Does anyone wear a fitbit or heart rate monitor? My RHR shot up twice on what would have been 4 and 5dpo so I know this isn't pregnancy related. It is currently at a level it was when I was sick in hospital so I am a little worried. Been trying to think what could cause it to jump like that and the only conclusion I have reached is that I drank some wine in the evening. A quick google says alcohol can have that affect but I've not experienced it before so wondering if my liver isn't functioning quite as it should be yet and so the alcohol content was too much? I don't think there's anything wrong but I've stopped with the wine now!

I have an apple watch so it measures HR and my Ava also does.

Rhr is supposed to go up if pregnant - which is how I suspect I'm out as mine has gone down continually from about 7dpo.

I think I am out now as I've had a bit of cramps and spotting just like I normally do when period is about to start.

kirinm · 18/10/2020 10:20

I think like BBT, it is more a case of staying elevated instead of rising. When I was pregnant with my DD my RHR barely increased and then it started to drop and I remember having to stop wearing my fitbit as it freaked me out too much.

I'm sorry AF may be on the way @claireb7rg - I hope the next couple of weeks fly past so you can get to your appointment and move towards adoption (or fertility treatment if that is recommended / you both want it).

whambam89 · 18/10/2020 11:01

I've just ordered a thermometer to start tracking my BBT - I'm CD8 today, am I best starting to track next month or can I start mid month?

kirinm · 18/10/2020 11:05

I think you can start whenever you want and there is no harm starting once you receive it but i think I used to start temping at the end of my period at the latest.

Which one did you buy? I don't think I can chart reliably due to my DD's crap sleep. I'm rarely not up once or twice during the night at the moment.

whambam89 · 18/10/2020 11:16

@kirinm my DD is mostly a good sleeper (famous last words!) I just went for the femometer one as it was cheapest 😂 think I'll set my alarm for 6.30 as she doesn't usually wake before that and try and track. Hence why I went for the cheaper one so not too much is lost if I can't track consistently! I don't usually ovulate until around CD16 so hopefully can get a few temps under my belt before ovulation this month. It's being delivered later (good old prime!)

SS123456 · 18/10/2020 12:37

Ok perhaps a TMI question but...

The last 3 mornings after a bowel movement (no straining at all) I have had a tiny amount of brown/pink only when I have wiped and then it is completely gone. Has anyone else had similar when pregnant before?

The first time it happened I assumed it was maybe not vaginal but the last two times I have been sure to double check and I am 95% sure it is vaginal

Rotagilla · 18/10/2020 17:07

Hello ladies,
I'm not sure if you remember me.
I started / was on the original pact threads.
I lost my baby on Monday, at 14 weeks.
And even though I am not ready to ttc yet I wanted to find you all again.
See the familiar names ❤️

kirinm · 18/10/2020 17:56

Oh my gosh @Rotagilla I am so sorry. How devastating. You are of course welcome back here with open arms and if you need to talk, we are here too xx

BuckleUp · 18/10/2020 18:27

@Rotagilla I'm so sorry to hear this lovely. I can't imagine what you're going through. Thinking of you xx

LeopardLover · 18/10/2020 18:27

@SS123456 I haven't experienced it myself but this is definitely a thing! I've seen a lot of people talk about it online and on the pregnancy board.

LeopardLover · 18/10/2020 18:28

@Rotagilla I'm so so sorry to hear this. It's so unfair and devastating. 😔 You're in my thoughts. Xx

whambam89 · 18/10/2020 18:51

@rotagilla I am so so sorry, how horrible for you to have to go through 😭 Thinking of you and sending lots of love - you're always welcome here, even if it's just to chat! Xx

MrsB2019x · 18/10/2020 19:18

@Rotagilla I thought about you the other day and wondered how you were doing! I am so, so sorry for your loss. Life can be so unfair. If you need to talk we’re all here for you 💙 Be gentle to yourself xx

Oh @Rotagilla I am so sad to read this! How are you holding up? 😔. We are all here for you ❤️ x

SS123456 · 18/10/2020 19:43

Thanks @LeopardLover that is reassuring to hear!

Sansa87 · 18/10/2020 19:52

@SS123456 I had this at the beginning. Apparently straining can cause cervical irritation or something.

@Rotagilla I feel like my heart just stopped beating for a sec reading that 😢 I’m so sorry. I know that isn’t going to take any of your pain away. Gentle hugs, & we are all here for you xxxxxx

SS123456 · 18/10/2020 20:24

Thanks @Sansa87 , it's good to know I'm not the only one it's happened to. The strange thing is that I'm not straining at all, more the opposite (sorry TMI!). My partner tried to instigate dtd this morning but I was too worried it could kick off more bleeding!

claireb7rg · 18/10/2020 21:25

So sorry @Rotagilla how devastating 😢

Period has arrived today as expected 😢

Not sure I can do this anymore 14 cycles and not even a hint of a line 😢

Rotagilla · 18/10/2020 21:58

Thank you so much ladies ❤️

Beyond devastated.
I had a uti that caused contractions and I gave birth....
Really struggling with the fact it was preventable.

But so grateful to have found you all again ❤️
One day we will be ready to ttc and il be back on that crazy journey with you all.
(Although I hope many of you will have BFP's and not be on the thread!)

xxx

MrsB2019x · 18/10/2020 22:06

@Rotagilla I had no idea a UTI could cause that! You’re always welcome here whether you’re TTC or not x

Rotagilla · 18/10/2020 22:20

@MrsB2019x
Neither did I...my midwife told me but wasn't overly concerned and I didn't get antibiotics straight away.
I've had a very hard pregnancy, the whole time.
I had bleeding since week 5, Ive lost a stone and a half...so it did seem my body was fighting against itself so maybe the uti was just the final straw? Maybe all wasn't right from the start.
But once we got to 12 weeks you just assume you are safe ❤️

Sorry I don't want to come here with my negative experience...Not when we are all here for the positivity.

And we will try again...and when we do I can't wait to be obsessing during the tww with you all ❤️

SS123456 · 18/10/2020 22:51

@Rotagilla I am so sorry you went through that. Do not worry at all, we are all here for the good and the bad. This is a safe place to let everything out ❤️ x

whambam89 · 19/10/2020 07:26

@Rotagilla I can't even imagine going through that, sounds like you've had such a tough time 😢 x

kirinm · 19/10/2020 07:32

@Rotagilla I'm so sorry to hear you had such a difficult time. As everyone has said, you're welcome here anytime whether you're ttc or not. I'm gutted for you x

kirinm · 19/10/2020 09:20

How are you doing today @SS123456 ? Are you feeling a little less anxious?
