@kirinm I’m hoping that’s a good omen for you this month 😬

How is everyone doing today?

MrsB2019x · 17/10/2020 19:01

@Sansa87 CD5 so nothing to report here really lol. How are you?

How are you doing @stickytoffeepud1991 @SS123456?

Any symptoms yet @kirinm?

@Sansa87 how are you doing? Not long until your scan!

@MrsB2019x I am ok thanks. I've been really tired all week and my boobs are sore and waking me up at night. Apart from that I am feeling fine though

@stickytoffeepud1991 are you doing ok?

Sansa87 · 17/10/2020 19:31

I have booking bloods on Thursday, & scan on Friday. I honestly just want to cry. Right now because I’m so full up but dinner was nice and I want more, but it hurts so much with how much I’ve already eaten. Also that I don’t want mushrooms anymore... I’ve officially lost the plot.

stickytoffeepud1991 · 17/10/2020 19:36

Thanks for asking girls x @MrsB2019x @SS123456
I’m doing okay, still very crampy and tired but other than that I’m good!
How are you both???

@Sansa87
is that your 12w scan? If so I can’t believe how quick that has gone xxx

kirinm · 17/10/2020 19:40

No symptoms for me yet @MrsB2019x - I'm only 5dpo but really would like to feel some implantation pain in the next few days! 😉

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 19:48

@sansa87 CD7 so nothing to report here either! Had a bit of a rubbish day though with another friend (very insensitively) announcing a pregnancy so feeling a bit deflated and have had a big cry.

Bet you can't wait to see baby on Friday again! X

claireb7rg · 17/10/2020 20:09

14dpo today not tested but not sure there is much point, think I'm out and period will be here tomorrow

Sorry you had a tough day. I actually cried last night - I think we've had three announcements in 3 days. Totally understand how you feel.

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 20:54

@kirinm it's so hard isn't it. I'm really not a cry-er usually but I think it's all just built up. My OH even asked if there's any tests we can have to check everything is working ok, but it's only been 5 months since we could start trying after the ectopic which is nothing in the grand scheme of things!

I could have written this exact post last weekend, now DH is on the Wellman lol. We’ll get there @whambam89 🤞

I hope AF doesn’t show for you @claireb7rg, how are you doing? x

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 22:04

@MrsB2019x I think he's just so used to me being pretty calm and level headed about everything, to see me get so upset it must have hit him how much it is affecting me. The thing is I'm almost certain the issue is me and my stupid luteal phase. I'll look at getting him some Wellman as well though. I've just had enough now - I genuinely don't know how people do this for years 😭

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 22:06

@claireb7rg hope AF doesn't turn up 🤞

claireb7rg · 17/10/2020 22:07

Not sure to be honest, think I'm fed up with trying and never being successful now, not sure what's going to happen at our appointment on the 11th Nov but am almost wishing it was over and we confirmed we couldn't do anything so we could start the adoption process now.

Am also in pain today as fell off my bike not once, not twice but 3 times 😂 we have an old railway line turned into a footpath near here. It is very narrow (like in places about 20cm wide) and it was wet and muddy and I wasn't on the most suitable bike (but was my most suitable bike of the 2 I have). I'm not the most confident cyclist off road and my front wheel just went from under me.

I have 2 bruises on my left knee, a large bruise on my right leg but I also have a very sore right knee with no bruise. I'm really lucky as I had a hip replacement 4 years ago and I managed to miss landing on it 😮

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 22:23

@claireb7rg oh no! That doesn't sound fun🙈 hope you don't wake up too sore tomorrow!

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 22:24

Does anyone use conceive plus / preseed?

I've never used it and heard mixed reviews but I'm thinking at this point anything might be worth trying!

SS123456 · 17/10/2020 22:47

@whambam89 I've tried both and didn't get success from either of them. It's likely coincidental but I switched to Proceive 2 months ago (I was 2 boxes in) and I fell this month. My partner had also been on wellman for a couple of months too🤷🏻‍♀️. We didn't do anything different/special this month at all. We were almost the opposite in fact as hitting month 13 at 37 years old was a bit of a kick in the teeth and I think we had both subconsciously partly given up inside. I'd stopped taking my healthy eating seriously and we only dtd twice (4 days before ovulation and the day before) so I honestly don't think anything in particular made it happen this time around and it was luck of the draw

SS123456 · 17/10/2020 22:48

@claireb7rg oh no you poor thing, I hope you are not too sore!!

SS123456 · 17/10/2020 22:49

My boobs are so sore tonight, I've had to resort to going to bed in a sports bra!

MrsB2019x · 17/10/2020 22:59

@whambam89 I have looked into it but I imagine halting DH while I stick a pipette of lube up my flooter isn’t going to do anything for the mood 👀

@claireb7rg Ouch! Hope you are okay!

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 23:09

@MrsB2019x hahahah to be honest, I was thinking the same... But I've heard of people who swear by it 🤷🏻‍♀️

whambam89 · 17/10/2020 23:09

@SS123456 not worth trying then!

Super sore boobs is a great sign x

SS123456 · 18/10/2020 06:41

@whambam89 anything is worth a shot, there is no harm in trying!

@MrsB2019x it was a bit awkward to do and we tried to laugh about it but it had the same affect as stopping to put on a condom 🙈

One thing I will say though, and the same happened with my ds pregnancy too, is that this month I finished after my partner. Could be coincidental but I'm not sure if this made an difference to the sperm ending up/being pushed in the right direction 🤷🏻‍♀️

kirinm · 18/10/2020 09:50

6dpo today and no symptoms (obviously)!

Does anyone wear a fitbit or heart rate monitor? My RHR shot up twice on what would have been 4 and 5dpo so I know this isn't pregnancy related. It is currently at a level it was when I was sick in hospital so I am a little worried. Been trying to think what could cause it to jump like that and the only conclusion I have reached is that I drank some wine in the evening. A quick google says alcohol can have that affect but I've not experienced it before so wondering if my liver isn't functioning quite as it should be yet and so the alcohol content was too much? I don't think there's anything wrong but I've stopped with the wine now!
