@SS123456 Ooh I hope AF doesn’t show for you and saves you £13k 😂 what the actual f do they even do for that price?! I’d want 100% guaranteed success rate for that 😳

@MrsB2019x to be fair that actually was a 100% money back package if you don't have a baby within 2 years but still crazy money!

My bbt has done a big drop this morning so af will be starting today 😔

kirinm · 20/11/2020 07:18

Morning. Pretty sure this is just a shadow. Woke around 5ish with period aches - I often feel achy around my hips and back. I'm 11dpo today or possibly only 10dpo.

kirinm · 20/11/2020 07:21

I had one that looked very similar to this last month which is why I don't think it's anything but a shadow.

whambam89 · 20/11/2020 08:06

@SS123456 sorry your BBT has dropped! 😔

@kirinm I can definitely see it but not sure it has colour... Fingers crossed for you!

Pretty sure it's a shadow. It's annoying as it comes up quite quickly and even though I know it doesn't look like a proper line, it does get your hopes up!

kirinm · 20/11/2020 08:44

I really thought I wouldn't be too disappointed this month but I feel gutted. Saw some photos online yesterday of a friend who was very obviously not drinking so I'm expecting an announcement from them soon.

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 09:10

@kirinm if that came up straight away that looks positive to me! Attached is the IC I had at 12dpo which prompted me to do a frer and a CB digital which both came back positive! Do you a frer?? 😁😁

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 09:12

Thanks @whambam89 . I've got quite bad cramps now so just want af to hurry up and get it over with now!

Had a moan/chat at OH this morning who has agreed to have a chat with the gp to get some tests done for him finally

kirinm · 20/11/2020 09:28

I do have an FRER but I don't want to waste it. If I hadn't had similar lines / shadows on these tests before I would be more hopeful but I have. They have awful indents which I think create the shadows.

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 09:52

Could be worth giving it a go in the morning perhaps @kirinm ? 😁🤞🏻

MrsB2019x · 20/11/2020 10:29

@kirinm I definitely see something there! Got everything crossed for you.

Sorry about the temp drop @SS123456 ☹️ Glad your OH wants to move things forward too

Thanks @MrsB2019x ! I've found this one quite tough as it was the cycle straight after mc but we'll get through it as always! How are you doing today?

kirinm · 20/11/2020 11:21

BFN on a FRER. Have none of them left and I'm not buying anymore.

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 11:23

@kirinm what brand are the IC's as that was such a clear line on it!? Sorry to hear that 😩

kirinm · 20/11/2020 11:26

They're one step but they are awful. I didn't mean to buy this pack. They have ones that are a bit wider with not such obvious indents in but ended up with the very thin ones.

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 11:34

Some tests are shocking aren't they. I got some freebee femometer ones a few months back which were 'proper' plastic holder style ones. It was a pack of 3 that I used on different occasions and each time they looked positive. They should just make digital ones more affordable as there would be a massive market for low cost versions of them

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 11:41

Oh and I know you said you don't want to buy anymore frer @kirinm but just in case others do I have just seen them on the amazon black Friday deals for £5 for a 2 pack

kirinm · 20/11/2020 12:10

I'm too busy sulking to buy any but probably will next month.
SS123456 · 20/11/2020 12:29

@kirinm Don't worry I'm feeling the same today too. Onto month 15 I go! It's starting to become very tedious this far along now 😔

There is still time for af to not show for you @kirinm, I am still holding out hope for you 😊. Have yourself or your partner had any fertility tests done at all? How long have you been ttc? The fact you have had a little one in the last few years is reassuring though

I was seen at the recurrent miscarriage clinic a while ago and was told everything was fine. Just bad luck.

I think next cycle will be no.10 but I'm 42 so it becomes more unlikely as every cycle passes.

I think we are going to need to start getting our heads round the real possibility of it not happening again. I don't want to go through lots of fertility tests to be honest.

SS123456 · 20/11/2020 13:15

@kirinm no I get that, it does become very obtrusive doesn't it. I feel much the same about each month passing too. I'm 37 so a little younger but starting to feel that age isn't on my side. My OH has a one night stand child with an ex (who at the time was 42) after she was told she was infertile so these things can just happen sometimes. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

kirinm · 21/11/2020 08:28

BFN today so now just waiting for AF.

SS123456 · 21/11/2020 08:31

Sorry to hear that @kirinm . Fingers crossed next month will be our month 🤞🏻

How is everyone today?

whambam89 · 21/11/2020 09:58

@kirinm sorry to hear you got a BFN!

@SS123456 CD14 for me today - we haven't DTD yet though 🤦🏻‍♀️ last few months we have done CD14 and CD16 so going to mix things up a bit and try CD15 and CD17 this month because that's about as exciting as my life gets hahaa... If I start pestering OH too soon he's reluctant to DTD by CD16/17 because I've worn him out 😂 so figured timing is more important 🤞 how are you?
