I think it must of just been a dodgy test, an IC and frer were both negative this morning! 😔

I had some quite sharp pains yesterday so obviously wondered if it could be implantation, absolutely zero symptoms today so obviously not 🙄

I'm 10dpo but af usually shows her face around 11-12dpo so I'm feeling pretty deflated. I don't know how much longer I can carry on doing this for as it is such a drain. I really want to bite the bullet and go private now but my OH is really reluctant (despite me being the one that will be paying for it) 😔

Why is he reluctant to go private? Just because of cost? Any idea when you'll get your test results back?

I'm only 7dpo so the cramps I had yesterday probably weren't implantation. It's still really early but I don't know, I don't feel like this is going to be our month.

@kirinm 7dpo could definitely could be implantation! Before my bfp last month I had twinges at 6 and 7dpo so you never know! 😁🤞🏻🤞🏻

I don't really know. He never really wants to discuss fertility stuff and doesn't show much interest in any of it but says that he is committed to having a child 🤔. It's quite frustrating when you feel like you are holding the burden of it all on your own shoulders. I think I may just book the initial assessment with the clinic anyway. It's not like the men have to do much aside from filling a cup! The list of things to be done to check a woman look pretty horrible but needs must I guess

@SS123456 He might be worried he’ll receive news that something is up with him or he will need interventions or something. All the while he doesn’t know he can coast along quite happily. I know my DH is terrified of that, he has a proper alpha male complex so I think it would crush him if something was up with his man organs!

@MrsB2019x yeah I think I'm expecting rather a lot. A few cramps yesterday and morning sickness the next ;)

@SS123456 My DP is like that. He definitely wants another but he is also a bit blase about it. I'm worrying it won't ever happen and he is more of a "if it doesn't, it doesn't" kind of guy.

@kirinm yeah possibly! He has a 2 year old child with an ex (conceived before we were together) who was the result of a one night stand so I don't think he has any issues on his side but who knows I guess. Looking after that child is quite sole destroying for me though when we want a baby of our own so much and I'm left holding the one night stand baby instead 😔. I'm going to call the gp today to see if my blood test results are in and I've also emailed a local fertility clinic to see their availability for some initial checks 🤞🏻😊. When are you planning on testing??

@kirinm 😂 yeah possibly a bit quick for symptoms to escalate that much lol

We have building work going on starting tomorrow so I don't think I'll be able to test until after they've finished. Maybe Friday? I got so many shadows on the IC last month due to all the indents that I think I'm going to try and rely on how I actually feel. I think the IC are only any good when you're really close to AF.

@SS123456 Oh we've renovated our entire flat and the last room is for our daughter (she's 2 years, 3 months and still in with us). It used to be our kitchen. It is being plastered starting tomorrow and then hopefully we can find a carpenter to do the joinery we need doing. I'm really hoping the room will be finished by Christmas.

@kirinm sounds great, I really hope you can get it all done before Christmas time! 😊. It's horrible having work done at home isn't it, the dust gets everywhere!

I called the GP and apparently all my blood tests were normal but they wouldn't tell me what was tested or what the results were for any of the tests! Obviously it's good they were normal but it would be helpful to know what was actually tested and the results 🙄

I called up and spoke to the practice manager in the end who is going to post the results to me 😊. I am pleased they are normal but there is part of me that now feels even more lost as there is no reason for things to not be happening if all is fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

@SS123456 glad they came back as normal but I know sometimes it would be nice to have a "reason" that it's not happening!

Re your OH, mine is exactly the same - he does want another but it definitely doesn't effect him like it does me. I think it must just be a male thing... As annoying as it is 😂

@whambam89 I definitely think it's a male thing! We spend all our time analysing our every twinge, changing our diets and life styles, and all they have to do is dtd once in a while! 😂

I think af may be on the way early for me 😩. Been having some mild cramps this afternoon and had a slight tinge of pink after using the toilet

@whambam89 I think it would be a bit late for me at 10dpo unfortunately as I normally only have a 11-12 day LP
