Well af arrived on Thursday pm so didn't have to make that decision in the end....
But bleeding only lasted until today, just two days and it was very light.
(After miscarriage I'd read that your first period is likely to be heavy)
So now I am wondering if it could be implantation bleeding...
Might test in the morning!

So glad it all went well @Rotagilla ❤️. Fingers crossed it was implantation bleeding! Was it a lighter pink/red or more 'period' red?

I stupidly caved and tested this morning but at 9dpo it was always going to be a bfn 🙄😂. I even wasted a frer as my eyes convinced me there was a shadow on the IC!

@SS123456 still plenty of time for that BFP! I'm doing ok, CD8 today so still got a while until ovulation and the dreaded TWW 😂

I was going mad wasn't I?? There is no shadow there is there! What is it about your brain wanting something to be there so much it makes you see it!

I think I'm 6dpo today now obvs on the hunt for signs of implantation 👀 (there are none).

I've been so anxious about work that I've not been sleeping well. I've ended up working for a few hours each day to try and reduce the intensity of the anxiety. I'm so behind.

Oh sorry @SS123456 I completely missed that you'd tested. Sorry it was a BFN. I've come to the conclusion that the strip tests are just a psychological nightmare.

They really are aren't they! I think all non digital tests should be banned as at least digital ones give a clear yes or no!

@SS123456 usually around CD16/17 but it has been as late as CD20.. I've not got any ovulation tests though and can't decide whether to order any. I just tempted last month so might just do that.

@kirinm sorry to hear work is causing you anxiety! Hope you're ok ♥️

I'm a lawyer. But I'm hoping my intense anxiety will mean I don't get distracted next week with symptom spotting and testing. I know I spend a ridiculous amount of time analysing tests in the tww and I can't keep doing it.

To be honest, most tests seem a bit shit now. Everyone has a story to say they've had evaps or shadow lines / indents on whichever brand you test on!

@whambam89 if you know roughly when you ovulate each month and you temp there shouldn't be an issue with not using opks. I usually ovulate around day 17 too but it was day 19 this month but that may be because of the mc last cycle

@kirinm as distracting as it is to be busy with work just be conscious that stress can affect you conceiving so try and keep it a bit in check if you can (I completely appreciate that is easier said than done though!). How come work is so busy at the moment? I'm a self employed accountant so I feel your pain on the stress side of things. The ever changing cv19 financial schemes is a nightmare and whilst I'm busy furloughing people I'm doing it all for free (it would be bad taste to charge extra) but I am losing so many clients to the pandemic so it is quite worrying

@whambam89 glad I'm not going completely mad on the shadow on the test! I'm 95% sure it is just the test itself though as the similar shadow I saw last month then followed with a line on a frer. The frer i did this morning had nothing I could see on it. I'm only 9dpo though so I guess there is still some hope. I think I'd got my hopes up after reading that you are extra fertile after a mc and I also got the darkest peak opk this month that I've ever had but I guess that's the madness of the ttc journey for you! 🤪

Oh gosh that must be stressful. I was so sick in august that I was pretty unproductive as I felt increasingly unwell. That then ended with a week in hospital. Catching up best part of 3 weeks of work is hard. It starts to snowball and then you're basically firefighting.

I think I can see the faintest line on the FRER?

That was my thoughts re the OPKs, I did order some conceive plus last night because I got a really good deal on it (if you didn't realise by now I'm the queen of hunting out bargains 😂) - I got 8 of the pre filled applicators for £13 delivered so figured that would do us 2/3 months hopefully and they're usually £18+ on Amazon.

@kirinm I can only imagine how stressful being a lawyer is in normal circumstances, nevermind with 3 weeks of worth to catch up on - try and go easy on yourself x

Oh do you think! I couldn't see anything on the frer at all. I just got it back out for a second look but I still can't see anything. Maybe it's just the photo 😂

Thanks @whambam89 ! My bfp last month only showed at 12dpo so I'm not too bothered just yet as it's still pretty early on to call it either way. Time will tell I guess! I can't see anything on the frer at all!

Ah nice one! 😁. We gave pre-seed a go a few times but didn't have any joy with it. It did give us a bit of a laugh 'injecting' it if not anything else though lol

@MrsB2019x when are you due to ovulate?

Just took another IC (I've got hundreds of them so why not 😂) and it has either a really cruel indent/shadow or a faint line 🤔

I took the pic quite a long time after I did the test though so it's possibly an evap so we'll see. I guess a frer in the morning will be telling as I would expect a line to definitely show on that if there is a line on a IC
