Thinking of you today @Rotagilla, hope everything goes as well as it can do 💙 big hugs to you and Mr Rotagilla xx

@claireb7rg That’s quite a stash! I would but having that many tests in the house will make me want to POAS every day 😂

I hope today goes as well as it can do @Rotagilla

I'm pleased you've been able to make a decision. Would love it if you could keep us all updated. I don't use CB advanced and have folic acid prescribed so I'm okay but thanks.

kirinm · 13/11/2020 08:18

Sorry, last message was meant for @claireb7rg

Thankyou ladies ❤️

SS123456 · 13/11/2020 09:11

@claireb7rg I'm already fully stashed but thank you for the offer! How exciting that you are going to adopt 😁. How long does the process take? Please keep us updated

Not sure I've heard it can be as quick as 6 months but also as long as 4 years. At the moment who knows 😩

Will keep you updated though 🤞👍

MrsB2019x · 13/11/2020 12:37

If you’re willing to separate them at any point @claireb7rg can I put my name down for the FRERs and CB’s please? ☺️ No worries if not!

SS123456 · 13/11/2020 12:49

@claireb7rg I guess a large part of it will be based on the 'right' child being in need of adoption at the right time for you too as they must have to match parents and children quite carefully I would imagine. I really hope it doesn't take too long! 🤞🏻. It's also really great that you can now re-focus your ttc energy into something great and positive too 😁. Are you going to try and take on a baby?

SS123456 · 13/11/2020 12:50

@claireb7rg sorry just realised I am asking lots of questions! Tell me to sod off if I am being nosy! I am just genuinely interested and find it all very exciting 😊

claireb7rg · 13/11/2020 13:24

no, it's ok, its good to talk to someone about it, only you lot and our parents know at the moment (and 1 of MrRGs workmates)

we are hoping for a sibling pair ideally both under 5, id like as young as possible although I think we would both be happy if we didn't have to do sleepless nights Grin

theres a lot of prep we have to go through before we are (hopefully) approved as adopters and the matching doesn't happen till after that so it could be a while yet

ill bear that in mind, thanks, would prefer to get rid of it all in one go but will let you know if that changes
SS123456 · 13/11/2020 14:20

@claireb7rg Haha yeah the sleepless nights are a killer! My son didn't sleep through the night until he was 5 🙈

I guess there is lots they have to go over and prepare you for. I think the hardest part will be how you would deal with birth parents potentially coming back into the picture at a later date etc

MrsB2019x · 13/11/2020 17:12

So excited to hear about your journey @claireb7rg 😁 There are some wonderful children out there who need a loving, stable home.

If you don’t get sibling offers at first, if you take one and BPs have another baby you will be the first port of call, they always want to keep siblings placed together. So much to think about!

whambam89 · 13/11/2020 21:15

@claireb7rg wow that is a stash! I also couldn't be trusted with that many tests in but thanks for offering!

How exciting that you've decided to adopt though, bet you feel a bit like a weight's been lifted?! Keep us updated on your journey and hope it all happens as quickly as possible for you x

kirinm · 14/11/2020 14:05

How are you feeling @SS123456 - any symptoms?

SS123456 · 14/11/2020 14:45

@kirinm nothing apart from sore boobs but that's pretty normal for me at 8dpo! My resting heart rate started dropping this morning so I have a feeling AF may turn up early this month 😔. How are you doing?

kirinm · 14/11/2020 16:07

@SS123456 RHR is so unreliable as far as I'm concerned. Unless you sleep consistently every night, don't ever exercise more intensely day-to-day or don't drink alcohol, it really fluctuates. My RHR jumps up if I have a glass of wine in the evening!

I'm only 4/5dpo and not feeling anything (unsurprisingly). I'm not feeling particularly confident this month though. I think it will be easier to take this month just because December should be fun and I can drink cocktails at Christmas if I'm not pregnant! Got to look for the silver linings...

whambam89 · 14/11/2020 16:11

@SS123456 @kirinm fingers crossed for you both!

@rotagilla hope yesterday went ok for you ♥️ sorry if you've already said but did you decide on whether to test or not? X

SS123456 · 14/11/2020 21:46

@kirinm not too long for either of us to wait now thankfully 😁🤞🏻

SS123456 · 14/11/2020 21:46

Thank you @whambam89 ! 😊

whambam89 · 14/11/2020 21:53

@SS123456 Are you still planning on testing on Monday?
