Morning

Another peak today 🙄. I suppose we will try to DTD again and then hopefully can have a rest! I assumed I was ovulating around CD11 as usual so we've been DTD since CD08!

Hurry up tww!

kirinm · 09/11/2020 08:06

How is everyone else doing? @MrsB2019x when is AF due?

MrsB2019x · 09/11/2020 08:10

Hopefully you have covered all bases then @kirinm! AF due tomorrow for me and no more tests in the house so I’m just waiting it out now

OP posts:

Fingers crossed for you @MrsB2019x

SS123456 · 09/11/2020 08:15

@Sansa87 congratulations! 😁 How are you doing?

@kirinm always the way isn't it! 😂 Hopefully fw will be covered now though 🤞🏻

@MrsB2019x will you get more tests in for this week if af doesn't show tomorrow?

I'm 3dpo and had a horrible headache since yesterday which was waking me in the night. I'm sure that my body somehow retained some of the progesterone from last months bfp (if that is even possible?!) as my bbt is really high already at 3dpo and never dropped back down after the mc. It was 36.87 this morning which is higher than when I was pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️. I hope my 21 day blood test on Wednesday and I'm worried my results will be distorted and show as a normal level of progesterone if some is still retained and I'm above normal levels this month. Perhaps I'm over thinking it?! 🙈

SS123456 · 09/11/2020 08:15

I have not I hope*

MrsB2019x · 09/11/2020 10:33

@SS123456 Yeah I ordered more cheapies off Amazon, they were due to come tomorrow but they’re turning up today now. Can’t help regarding the progesterone/temp, might be worth mentioning when you go get your bloods done?

kirinm · 09/11/2020 10:51

@SS123456 i wonder if your body has reset a bit as a result of the miscarriage? I don't know if that's possible but sometimes your cycle can just change and presumably progesterone could have something to do with that? My periods used to be 30 days and then suddenly changed to 28 days and stayed like that for years.

Rotagilla · 09/11/2020 11:43

Morning ladies,
Hope you all had a good weekend...

After accidentally possibly dtd at the right time this month (despite deciding to wait a cycle) I've noticed that I can test on Friday (13 dpo)

Friday is our baby's funeral.

Part of me thinks how amazing it would be if it worked out that when we say goodbye we could also be saying hello.
I'm not getting my hopes up and il be sad regardless on Friday.
But wouldn't that be perfect?

I'm glad to have you lot on here who will understand. I know what peoples opinions would be in the 'real' world xx

MrsB2019x · 09/11/2020 12:54

Oh @Rotagilla what a predicament 😔 Personally, for me, if I tested on the same day as the funeral and it was negative I would also kind of feel like I’ve lost another because it would be perfect if it was positive? Even though it was never there? Does that make sense?

BUT - you’re not me and you might react differently to that, only you know how you would feel either way and what would be right for you x

OP posts:
Rotagilla · 09/11/2020 12:58

That does make perfect sense
@MrsB2019x ❤️
To be honest I'm not expecting it this month as we didn't make any effort to 'try'

I don't think il be terribly disappointed if not as next month would be better (after having a full cycle) and anxiety would be better knowing all was working as it should...
...but I have that niggly voice 'what if'

whambam89 · 09/11/2020 15:23

@Rotagilla that would be perfect but I do agree with Mrs B and think it might make the day even harder for you if it's a negative. I think it ultimately has to be your choice, although I know it will be a hard choice make. Hoping everything goes ok for you x

SS123456 · 09/11/2020 15:48

@kirinm @MrsB2019x thank you! It's just so odd that my temp would be so high. I am hoping it means I'm extra fertile this month some how (clutching at straws 😂)

SS123456 · 09/11/2020 15:51

Oh @Rotagilla I really feel for you ❤️. Like the other ladies have said I would personally wait until after. As much as it would be amazing to have that bfp going into the funeral I think I would personally want to be 100% focused on my lost child on that day with no distractions. And if it's a bfn you will likely feel a full mixture of emotions and kick yourself for doing it. A bfp won't be going anywhere if you wait a day and if it is meant to be it will 😊

whambam89 · 09/11/2020 16:01

@MrsB2019x oooh I've got a good feeling for you! Have the new tests arrived?

MrsB2019x · 09/11/2020 18:49

@SS123456 I do hope you’re super fertile!

@whambam89 I’m glad you do cos I don’t haha, mentally I’m already onto my next cycle! They aren’t here yet, can be any time up til 7:45 apparently 🤨

OP posts:
kirinm · 09/11/2020 18:50

Oh @Rotagilla I hope Friday goes as well as can be expected. I don't know if I would test. I might try and leave it so that day is just about saying goodbye and not a mix of other emotions arising from a test.

kirinm · 09/11/2020 18:50

No ovulation bleeding this month so far 🤞🏻🤞🏻

kirinm · 10/11/2020 07:31

Well I'm going to assume I've ovulated 🤷🏻‍♀️. So hello tww.

How's everyone doing?

whambam89 · 10/11/2020 07:49

@kirinm welcome to the TWW!

@MrsB2019x did you test again? Fingers crossed for you x

MrsB2019x · 10/11/2020 07:56

Morning girls

Welcome to the TWW @kirinm!

Nah I haven’t @whambam89, I really don’t feel pregnant so it seems silly to waste a test. I’ll just wait for AF to arrive later today. If it doesn’t come today I’ll test in the morning

OP posts:
SS123456 · 10/11/2020 09:32

Welcome to the tww @kirinm , fingers crossed for you 😊🤞🏻

I'm 4dpo and nothing too exciting to report. I have been super tired the last few days but had none of my post ovulation breast pain which is odd. I have my 21 day progesterone blood test tomorrow

@whambam89 is it today you get your blood test results?

whambam89 · 10/11/2020 09:33

@MrsB2019x you're stronger than me, I'd have tested as soon as they arrived 😂

Spoken to the doctor this morning and my bloods are basically fine, liver count is slightly high which he thinks could still be from the methotrexate. White blood count slightly raised as well but nothing to be concerned about apparently. I did mention us TTC and he said to leave it until spring time (so a year since methotrexate) and if we're still not pregnant then they'll look at running some tests.

That's great news. I had blood tests a while ago - just standard and got a call saying I need to speak to a doctor. Was totally paranoid only be told I had high levels of folate. And that is because the medication I take strips my body of folate and I therefore take 5mg of folic acid a day. 🙄

whambam89 · 10/11/2020 10:07

@kirinm it's annoying that they can't just tell you things like that straight off isn't it! I was literally on the phone for less than 2 mins and it would have been even less than that if I hadn't mentioned us TTC
