@kirinm perhaps that's a good sign for this month as CD11 is quite early to ovulate. There is still plenty of time yet 🤞🏻😊. I usually ovulate around CD17 but it was CD19 this month post mc

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 08:57

@whambam89 Result! Do you like beer?

@kirinm How strange 🤨 our bodies like to keep us on our toes don’t they!

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 09:41

@MrsB2019x I'd rather a gin or a wine but I'd never say no to free beer😂

How are you this morning? Have you tested again?

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 10:00

@whambam89 Course I have 🙄 BFN again so fully counting myself out now. Got no more tests in the house so I’m just waiting for AF to arrive on Tuesday 👎

I think I always panic when there are any changes in my cycle because I'm paranoid about early menopause.

kirinm · 08/11/2020 10:03

Ah sorry about the BFN @MrsB2019x

I'm already thinking about things I will do next month to distract me from this stupid process.

SS123456 · 08/11/2020 10:22

@MrsB2019x how many dpo are you?

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 10:39

@kirinm Can you share some tips with me because I’d love to know 😂

@SS123456 12dpo today x

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 10:59

@MrsB2019x don't count yourself out entirely yet!

Think I'm going to take a couple of months off temping / OPKs / early testing (haha, next joke) and have a couple of more relaxed months to end the year. I've put so much pressure on myself to have a baby close in age to my friends who are pregnant and it just seems with every friend that announces, AF follows for me in the next few days! Think I need to start looking after myself a bit more, focusing on some self care (which I'm terrible at doing!) and making myself a priority (which again, I'm terrible at doing 😂). I've thought about coming off Mumsnet but I don't really want to lose this little group we've got here because it is nice to have the support and I feel like we all "get" each other..

Remind me of this post again in 3 weeks time when I'm back in the TWW 😂

I'm going to think about what nice Christmassy things we can do once lockdown is over. Getting some decent wine and cheese in. Finally have a chunk of time off!

I'm thinking of setting myself an exercise task. Like 5k everyday for 30 days or something. Something difficult but something that will feel like an achievement

I really love Christmas and I am sick of trying for a baby. I want a baby but I'm not sure how much longer I can deal with trying.

kirinm · 08/11/2020 11:47

That should say 'difficult but do-able'

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 13:59

@kirinm it's so hard isn't it! I know friends who have had a month of from trying and fallen that month but all I think is the month we had off could be THE month.

We've got DD birthday 1st December then I'm going to be all about all things christmassy! 5km a day for 30 days would be an achievement, I can't run to save my life! 😂

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 14:01

@whambam89 I’ve thought about coming off Mumsnet too sometimes but I love our little group! If you manage to relax let me know and pass some relaxing vibes my way 😂

@kirinm That sounds really good. I love Christmas so hopefully the distraction of that will leave us all a bit less stressed!

Finally got a peak!

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 14:11

@MrsB2019x I have managed to stop spending time scrolling through all other threads and this is the only one I post on now so I don't see it any different to a group WhatsApp (full of people desperate for babies 😂)

My aim this week is to cook healthy homemade meals every night (I really enjoy cooking but have really slacked with it recently), start reading a book (I also love reading but can't remember the last time I read anything!), in bed for 10pm phone down Monday - Friday, do at least 3 x 30 min workouts. If I can set little challenges like that each week I'm hoping I can take my mind off it a little!

Random question for a Sunday afternoon, but after @kirinm mentioning doing 5k every day for 30 days and my initial thought being how impossible that is, how healthy / active is everyone on this thread?

SS123456 · 08/11/2020 14:13

@kirinm oh yay that crept up without warning didn't it! 😁

kirinm · 08/11/2020 14:19

I know! I'm glad I'm testing more than once a day.

@whambam89 I am awful with exercise at the moment but used to run regularly - although was never fast or very good at it. I just feel so bleugh at the moment and running is pretty much the only thing I can fit in / think of.

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 14:30

@kirinm it's one of them things that I've always wanted to be good at but I'm just not 😂 glad you got your peak! Get DTD 💃

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 16:36

Oooh glad you got your peak @kirinm!

That sounds like a good plan @whambam89, I’m WFH this week so might do things like that some days too. DH used to be a chef so he does all the cooking in our house!

I’m absolutely awful with exercise. I have arthritis so I’m scared of exercising because I know I will feel horrendous the next day! I used to like swimming but that’s now out the picture 🙄 I have a week off soon so I’m aiming to go out on some walks if it’s not too rainy

How is everyone? Xx

Sansa87 · 08/11/2020 18:19

Just an update... the house we viewed all the way back in the June thread, just before I fell pregnant the first time. We FINALLY moved into it on Friday 😊

whambam89 · 08/11/2020 18:27

@MrsB2019x that sounds like the dream haha, my OH can just about put a pizza in the oven 🤦🏻‍♀️

@sansa87 Ahh fantastic news! And you got away without moving any heavy boxes so even better 😉

@stickytoffeepud1991 ok that makes it better... I had visions of you with a chocolate digestive and cheese 😂

MrsB2019x · 08/11/2020 18:31

@stickytoffeepud1991 That makes so much more sense now 🤣

@Sansa87 Congratulations! 🎉 Bet you can’t wait to start decorating baby’s nursery!

@whambam89 It’s amazing, problem is when he’s out I have gotten SO lazy with cooking and just put myself a pizza in, or have pasta with grated cheese or something 😂

OP posts:
whambam89 · 08/11/2020 18:35

@MrsB2019x you can't beat pasta and cheese sometimes though! 🤤
