I've tested negative on hcg tests since the day I started bleeding (I didn't do a test the 2 days before that but wish I had in hindsight now). Maybe I officially mc'd days before I started bleeding and my body started 're-setting' itself at that point. That could I guess mean that I am actually not CD8 and more like CD10-14 which would make a bit more sense. I have just done an IC opk which was 'high' but I actually just ran to the toilet (sorry if TMI) as I felt like a had randomly flooded with blood again but it wasn't, it was lots of what looks like CM?! Head is blown at the moment 😂🤯. We actually did dtd yesterday and the day before for the first time following the mc as I felt I needed that physical closeness back with my OH after what we had been through so I guess that could perhaps be good timing now 🤷🏻‍♀️

@kirinm I'm starting to think you could be right!

Look at my resting heart rate on my fitbit it began dropping around the 14/15th October but I didn't start cramping and bleeding until the 19th Oct so realistically if you work off the 14/15th Oct date as the time my body starting 're-setting' I could maybe be around CD14 I guess

It makes me wonder why I was so careful about protecting myself from pregnancy for so many years as it is actually so much harder than you are led to believe through education in your youth 😂

@SS123456 Yeah that could actually make sense! That was pretty good timing then, they do say you’re more fertile after a loss 🤷🏻‍♀️

@ss123456 that would make sense! Hopefully the last couple of days of DTD with no pressure will have worked out well for you 🤞

Managed to get booked in for my bloods early next week so could have results as soon as next Friday which is really efficient. If anything, it will put my mind at ease.

@whambam89 amazing news! Is your gut feeling that it will pick up a thyroid issue?

@SS123456 I'm honestly not sure, I feel like there's a chance it will, especially with my mum having thyroid problems. I do struggle with some of the symptoms, particularly tiredness but I just put that down to having a toddler. We'll see! I think I'd just like to know if it was an issue, not so much for how long it's taking us to get pregnant but moreso the fact it would mean a higher chance of miscarriage when we do get pregnant. Before you did your test did you feel like it would bring something up? Or were you not surprised that it came back normal?

@whambam89 I thought mine would as everything I had researched about my short LP pointed me towards a thyroid issue and a fertility lady I had spoken to had said the same thing too

Loads of EWCM and no obvious temp increase this morning so guessing I've still not ovulated 🙄 now to try and convince the OH to DTD again tonight hahaha. I think I'm going to stick to using OPKs in future

@MrsB2019x usually CD16/17, I'm CD18 today.. have had a couple of months where I've ovulated CD20 though. My body basically just does what it likes, clearly 😂

How are you feeling about this month?

@SS123456 oh no! Was it just spotting? Can be normal around ovulation if so x

It was 'proper' bleeding with some small clots similar to the start of a period but it seems to be turning to pinkish spotting now 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's strange as my mc bleeding stopped completely Wednesday last week and between then and this morning I had had completely normal and clear cm so it was quite out of the blue and took me by surprise. At first I though that my cervix was just being a bit sensitive to the position we dtd in post mc but the small clots made me think it's more like a delayed mc bleed or a period. It's quite confusing and upsetting not having a clue what is happening with your own body 🤯

@SS123456 sorry to hear you've been bleeding. I had what I assume / hope is ovulation bleeding but only bled after sex. I didn't recall this happening at any other time but actually it did happen when I was in hospital and then I did pass a small clot. That would've been my first cycle post chemical so not sure if that is just a coincidence or ovulation related or just because I'd been unwell.

This months bleeding was bright red. I'd say lighter than a period but not pink. It did only happen after sex but definitely during ovulation.

Fingers crossed it's just a random one off for you this month @kirinm 🤞🏻. Why are our bodies so confusing!

I was going to have a chat with the gp just to run the new bleeding past them but they can't speak to me until the 16th November at the earliest apparently 🙈

@whambam89 Strangely optimistic... I don’t know why and I keep trying to stop it because I don’t want to be more disappointed than usual at the end! Sounds really pessimistic but I’m at the point where I need to protect myself now

@SS123456 assuming all doctors are running a similar system I would try ringing at 8am and see if you can get a same day telephone consultation - that's how the GP surgery I work at is running and the other one in the area that I go to and got an appointment at the same day. 16th Nov is ridiculous!

@MrsB2019x I saw a rainbow on the way to work this morning and even though I'm pretty sure I've not even ovulated yet I thought it would be nice if it was a little sign. I know how you feel, it's like we should be optimistic but it's hard because more optimism means more chance of being disappointed if AF arrives x
