@Sansa87 so glad your scan went well, I've had in my head all week to remember to wish you luck and then completely lost track of time today!

@kirinm I'm so sorry you got a BFN but there is still time yet, please don't count yourself out!

@rotagilla I've also been wondering how you've been getting on the last couple of days, glad you're feeling physically recovered but as @SS123456 has said I think I would do the same and wait a full cycle!

@MrsB2019x how are you getting on?

@SS123456 hope you don't get too many days of highs before your peak! Hope you're feeling ok.

I think that's everyone 😂 I feel like I've missed loads this morning haha

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 15:12

How are you doing @whambam89 ?

Has anyone successfully managed to get a gp to prescribe progesterone supplements to treat a short luteal phase?

whambam89 · 23/10/2020 16:21

@SS123456 I'm good! Still need to call the GP to see if I can have tests to check my thyroid function, I always forget first thing though and GPs in my area are only taking same day appointments at the moment. Can't help with bring prescribed progesterone, sorry! X

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 16:38

@whambam89 it's near on impossible to get an appointment sometimes isn't it! 🙈. I had my thyroid blood test yesterday and should hopefully have the results early next week so I'll keep you posted

My many hours of googling (🙄) have me convinced that a progesterone supplement would solve my issues

whambam89 · 23/10/2020 16:41

@SS123456 guessing it's not something you can purchase privately? What did people do before Google 😂

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 16:43

@whambam89 I know! 😂

No unfortunately it has to be prescribed

stickytoffeepud1991 · 23/10/2020 19:37

Hi ladies how is everyone??
Sorry been a bit absent, just felt really anxious and down and I don’t know why. Feel it’s a sense of nervous and excitement.

@Sansa87 that’s great news hun!! 💓
@kirinm I had a squinter at 9DPO and them IC are really shitty I did one of them Monday and it was dark but not as dark as my FRER was. Got everything crossed for you.
@SS123456 glad you are going to continue to try, please take it easy and I pray for a sticky bean for you my lovely xx
@whambam89 and @MrsB2019x not sure where you are both up too?? Are you both coming up to ovulation? Xxx

MrsB2019x · 23/10/2020 19:49

Aww @stickytoffeepud1991, hope you’re okay. I bet it’s such a strange time! Do you think you’ll book an early scan?

I’m alright thanks, CD11 today so getting there!

stickytoffeepud1991 · 23/10/2020 19:59

@MrsB2019x definitely not sure when though. I think last time I was about 11 weeks.
I would like to think my body would start the process if anything happened instead of me going for a scan and there being no heartbeat but you just can’t be sure. I’m also feeling very anxious and upset today as one of my reslly good friends went for an early scan yesterday at 8 weeks and they couldn’t find the heartbeat so I’m devastated for her.

Yay! Good stuff, when do you usually ovulate? Xx

Sansa87 · 23/10/2020 20:45

Do not get cats to help you with announcements.

My midwife told me that you’re super fertile for three months after a mc because your body is already in pregnancy zone and knows what to do.

Now I’ve got to 12 weeks I’m glad we tried straight away (I have t had a period since May) but the last 8 weeks have been horrific with nerves and expecting things to go wrong. As it’s our first baby I didn’t realise that all the cramps are normal and not just a sign of a mmc. Same as fluctuating symptoms and even the bleeding. I can’t say for sure that waiting for the first cycle would’ve helped, but I know I spent a fair few moments thinking my body wasn’t ready and that’s why it was so bad (the implantation pain was horrific for me)

whambam89 · 23/10/2020 20:56

@stickytoffeepud1991 I'm just a couple of days ahead of @MrsB2019x on CD13. Usually ovulate on CD16/17 so we generally end up being cycle twins in the TWW because I have a short LP as well as ovulating "late"

Sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit down, I imagine your hormones are all over the place and I don't think being in the midst of a pandemic probably helps!

Where abouts in the country is everyone else? / what tier of lockdown are you currently in? We're in tier 2 so not finding it too bad with still being able to meet friends for walks etc but I'm dreading if we end up in tier 3!

MrsB2019x · 23/10/2020 20:58

Oh but they’re so lush @Sansa87 🥺

I’d like to think that my little guy could help us with our announcement one day! He’s photogenic enough 🥰

@whambam89 we are in tier 1(?) nothing has changed for us, & I don’t think there are that many cases here right now.

@MrsB2019x oh my jesussss! So cute! ❤️❤️❤️

MrsB2019x · 23/10/2020 21:01

@stickytoffeepud1991 Usually somewhere between CD15-17 so a few days yet, but had EWCM this morning so maybe closer to 15!

@whambam89 I’m on the central south coast so we’re in tier 1 😎 I’d hate it if we moved into tier 2, my Mum lives on her own and I’d hate to not be able to go inside her house with her again!

whambam89 · 23/10/2020 21:23

@MrsB2019x so cute!

@sansa87 what gorgeous cats 😍 if it makes you feel better mine would definitely not cooperate either haha.

You're both making me jealous of your tier 1 now! My mum lives on her own so luckily we can still see her as we're in her bubble. I also have my nephew's once a week so I'm in their "childcare bubble" so it's not massively different for us really, just a shame we can't go for coffee with friends or let the little ones play inside together if it's chucking it down outside.

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 21:47

@whambam89 we are in Hertfordshire so current in tier 1. We are just north of London though so I would imagine it's only a matter of time before we move to tier 2 too

@Sansa87 that pic is really funny 😂, super cute though!

stickytoffeepud1991 · 23/10/2020 22:16

I’m in tier 2! I live in Sunderland which is on the coast of the north east but in fear we will go into Tier 3 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks girls hopefully will start to feel better in the next few weeks!

How exciting @whambam89 and @MrsB2019x remember it only takes once and we only dtd the day before ovulation well like 12am 😂 xx

kirinm · 24/10/2020 07:11

Tier 2 here. I'm in London. I read a rumour that we could be looking at tier 3 in a month. Tbh my weekdays are spent working and my weekends are spent in parks so tier 2 hasn't made much of a difference to us as we can still see friends outside.

Rotagilla · 24/10/2020 08:38

I'm on the South West Coast and still in Tier 1....hoping nothing changes.

@Sansa87 so so chuffed for you! ❤️

Had a wobble yesterday and decided we needed to try straight away...but after sleeping on it we are going to wait a cycle.
I lost nearly 2 stone while pregnant and I'm sure all of my reserves were depleted!
We've brought some pregnacare his and hers tablets that we want to do for the month before to make sure we are in the best condition possible.

But I am impatient and checking for ovulation this month...

Sansa87 · 24/10/2020 08:59

@Rotagilla that’s what we were like. We decided to wait a cycle, but no harm checking if we were ovulating. Then there was no harm bd’ing around the time, because we weren’t “actively” tying.

Rotagilla · 24/10/2020 09:09

@Sansa87 I'm so happy for you ❤️

I don't seems to have any signs of ovulation yet...but was it you who said yours was delayed after?
I just want to know that everything is working as it should...so hard not to be impatient.

Sansa87 · 24/10/2020 10:01

@Rotagilla yes, I’ve ov’d day 13/14 since I first started checking 13 odd years ago, but after the surgery I didn’t get my peak until cd20

whambam89 · 24/10/2020 10:27

A lot of you are South then! I'm North West but live in quite a small town and our levels are pretty low so praying we stay in tier 2 (although tier 1 would be nice!) My little girl has been desperate for a birthday party this year and it's now looking less and less likely.

I've not bought any OPKs currently CD14 but no signs of ovulation either, I usually have EWCM by now... So half regretting not buying OPKs 😂 for those who temp, is there any sign that you're about to ovulate with temps or is it literally just once you've ovulated that you notice temps spike?

Only once you've ovulated but that doesn't register until you've had 3 raised temps so BBT is good for the knowing precisely when you ovulated rather than when you're gearing up.
Sansa87 · 24/10/2020 11:05

@whambam89 I’m in north Hampshire, so not far from London. Slightly concerned it won’t be long until we go up a level just because we are so close to them
