@narwhal88 I dont think I will be offered the vaccine for a very long time and I hope to be pregnant by then haha. I would refuse if I were you as it looks like your treatment may start within 3 months and they do say to wait 3 months untill after the last dose before ttc

BTW I think the vaccine is brilliant and would 100% be getting it if I wasn't ttc and under fertility clinic :D

@Narwhal88 exactly how I feel each time too 😂 you are fertile though right and it's Dh with the sperm issue or am I getting you confused!
I'm not getting the vaccine. I'm low down on the list anyway so I won't be offered it for a while I would have thought, plus with hopefully starting ivf feb, I won't risk it.

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah it's DH with the issue but I still don't feel very fertile! I can't help but think if I was super fertile maybe it would have still happened by now!

@Annny27 yeah I don't think I'm going to get it. I just know loads of people are going to ask me why I'm not at work and judge me as obviously I don't want to tell everyone about IVF. My manager knows now though. I have been heavily involved in the vaccine set up so it's all anyone is talking about. I'm also worried about getting covid still and giving it to family. We have so many people off work with it. 😣

@Narwhal88 don't think like that. It's not our fault that our Dh's swimmers can't swim well 😂
Tough choice with the vaccine. If your manager knows about ivf I'd be inclined to not have it and you can just tell everyone some story that you have 🤫🤣

AF arrived and hycosy booked for next Tuesday. I was told they only do Thursdays so I've got my work Christmas party (online, but I'm the social convenor) then. Just another fun thing that TTC can interrupt! I'll need to find someone else to be the quizmaster without going into detail about why I'm missing the 'party'.

@Tofu35 sorry to hear about AF but yay to the hycosy! I'm sure you'll think of a good excuse. Got my work zoom party tonight, totally forgot until my boss reminded me this morning. Need to dig out my Xmas jumper!

No sex this month as part of the prep before the test, so was very happy to welcome AF this month. Made a change from my usual reaction 😅

@Tofu35 thanks! No, sadly not. Due to forgetting I don't even have beers in. Gonna have to open red wine which is dangerous as I get so pissed on it 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying 12dpo today, I caved and did a test, not even a hint of a second line. We are both taking it quite hard, no post hycosy boost for us! Im going shopping for my wedding dress tomorrow and my heart just isn't in it, I feel bloated and fat and sad :( Hopefully I'll cheer up in the morning.

@Motherofkittens28 ahhh! It defo will cheer you up hun, it's fun albeit a bit nerve racking! I hope you have fun and sorry for the bfn. You can do it!

I am 12dpo and nothing symptom wise feels like af is coming so probs bfn for me too

@notyetamumbuttrying hope your zoom party was good! One hasn't been arranged for my work although we did do a quiz so I guess that's kinda the Christmas party!

@narwhal88 hopefully you will have started your treatment before you have to make rhe vaccine decision but like notyetamum said, you can always just tell your manager :)

I think I'm due around Xmas day/boxing day and on shift Xmas day early so plan is if AF arrives getting merry! Struggling to figure out exactly when it'll be here for stupid blood test day 1-5 over festive period full of bank holiday days.
@Tofu35 fingers crossed for your test next week. @Motherofkittens28 feel for you but dress shopping can be fun, totally different experience, you'll know when you have 'the dress' are you going with anyone?

@notyetamumbuttrying 13dpo, no sign of AF your spotting but i did a test and bfn! It was a cheapy test and not sure the sensitivity but pretty sure it means I am out :/

@Motherofkittens28 hope the dress shopping went well

@kerrym87 when I had my fertility appointment in October they basically said that haha! But have another one in Feb where they may refer for treatment

Thanks all. It went much better than expected and I liked one in each shop so three to decide between! AF arrived today 2 days early so definitely out now.

@Annny27 did they do any investigations though cos we haven't had any yet apart from basic hormone profile and SA. If they won't well look at private I think.
@Motherofkittens28 sorry to hear that but good news on the dresses, think I tried 4 on but I knew the one when I put it on, got emotional!

@kerrym87 I had the hormones blood profiles both post ovulation and start of the cycle and then also had an ultrasound on me and SA on DH.

Let's hope they do ultrasound for you!

@Annny27 i did have USS in Feb but I'd only been off implant 5 months and all they found was supseptate uterus which gynae said they won't look into anything until 2 years ttc. There's a strong family history of PCOS and endometriosis and have some symptoms of both so hopefully will do another uss at least
