And yes, we definitely do need some good luck on here!! 🤞

SS123456 · 29/11/2020 20:16

Feeling your pain ladies, I'm on month 15 too! It gets harder every time someone new announces their pregnancy 😔

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/11/2020 20:55

Think we're all month 15 now! It's in December for me so not long now! Just hoping and praying we really do get seen before Christmas cos then we have a shot at ivf in jan 😬 and I'm so ready to be a mum now that I don't really care the means!

I forgot there was a few of us on month 15. Got everything crossed for you all. Anyone had a private MOT done? Got my first private consultation this week. Absolutely terrified 😂😞

Annny27 · 29/11/2020 22:49

I am on month 18 overall but month 12 of ttc after my miscarriage so feels like a lifetime haha! Took 4 months the first time - which makes it more frustrating that its 12 months now and nothing 😬

SS123456 · 29/11/2020 23:37

@Theawkwardblonde we have one booked for the 22nd December. The first appointment will just be to take blood and a urine sample from me. The second one will be a SA for OH and a hycosy and some other internal investigations for me. Is yours similar?

Motherofkittens28 · 30/11/2020 11:35

Morning all, end of fertile week for me as I ovulated yesterday. Praying for some of that post hycosy fertility boost magic this cycle. If not I'm going to make an appointment at the ivf clinic to kick things off in January. Maybe we'll all get some Christmas magic before the end of the year!

Annny27 · 30/11/2020 11:37

@Motherofkittens28 I also ovulated yesterday!

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/11/2020 13:30

Cd7 so in FW now as I ovulate so damn early! Good luck to those starting the tww. Fingers crossed for those Christmas miracles!! X

Tofu35 · 30/11/2020 13:38

Thought I'd pop my head in and see how everyone is doing. I'm having a month off TTC because of a scan next month, so while I'm in the dreaded tww, it's easy this month 😂

We brought the Christmas decorations down last night but going to wait until tomorrow to put them up. Has anyone here already decked the halls?

Motherofkittens28 · 30/11/2020 14:01

@Annny27 we can be cycle mates :)
@tofu35 I have to confess we put them up weeks ago, just wanted something cheerful to focus on. I'm normally a not till December kind of girl but its been such a rubbish year we just went for it

Tofu35 · 30/11/2020 14:18

@motherofkittens28, if I had my way, the house would be decorated but husband won't decorate until December (no tree until the 15th!). Will be nice to have some twinkly lights up :)

SS123456 · 30/11/2020 14:24

We put our decorations up yesterday, it's nice to have something positive to focus on, particularly this year! 😁

@notyetamumbuttrying I am also due to go into my fw tomorrow (I'm CD 11 but tend to ovulate around CD17).

We may have to skip trying next month depending on when my HyCoSy is booked in for so need to give this month a good shot 🤞🏻

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/11/2020 16:33

@SS123456 good luck with this month then! I best start the seduction techniques tonight, can't really be arsed even tho I am in the mood 😂 Dh isn't much of a seducer so it's always me 🥱
@Tofu35 no decs for us yet, defo this weekend tho! We're both off on Friday so will go searching for some new bits for the tree and might actually decorate the flat a bit too!

Hi all, just wanted to post some tips. I was TTC for 18 months and vowed any info I could give I would.
-pre seed lubricant, worked on this cycle
-ovulation sticks
-had a fertility MOT which cost around £500 early which diagnosed me with poly cystic ovaries/ would have taken far too long on the NHS. Ended up conceiving about a year after this with letrozole

Hope this helps.

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/11/2020 18:51

Thanks @Har1991 glad it all worked out for you! A lot of us have male factor infertility so it's all the men which usually means ivf with icsi for the women 😔

Motherofkittens28 · 01/12/2020 17:21

Made our initial private ivf appointments today so we are set up if we don't get a bfp this cycle. Scan on the 21st and consultation on the 29th so hopefully ready to kick off a cycle come January. Makes me feel better to have taken that control.

Chel93 · 01/12/2020 17:26

Month 24 for me now, lost all hope had my hycosy Friday and I have blocked tubes my partner has low morphology so I've ran out of all look been discharged from the NHS now as nothing else they can do for me have to go private and at the minute can't afford it feel like my hearts broken

Motherofkittens28 · 01/12/2020 17:41

Oh @Chel93, did they not offer to unblock your tubes on the NHS even? The cut offs they have are so ridiculous its all so unfair. Thinking of you xx

Chel93 · 01/12/2020 18:16

@Motherofkittens28 no never offered nothing just discharged me which I was quiet shocked about i thought they would at least do that, it really is thank you very much xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 01/12/2020 18:32

@Motherofkittens28 good stuff! Here's hoping you don't need them tho! 🤞🏾
@Chel93 sorry to hear! I can't believe they won't offer you a hycosy, that's nuts! Can you appeal at all?

OP posts:
Chel93 · 01/12/2020 18:47

@notyetamumbuttrying I had a hycosy on Friday and she said not a drop of the liquid went through, but I thought they might of unblocked them, I never seen the usual doctor I see so might ring my own gp tomorrow and see if there is anything they can do x

notyetamumbuttrying · 01/12/2020 19:19

@Chel93 ah I see! Yes defo do that as surely they can't leave you like this. Good luck 🤞🏾

OP posts:
Chel93 · 01/12/2020 21:21

@notyetamumbuttrying I really hope so hopefully id have some chance of conceiving then, my partner also has low morphology does anyone know of any ways to help that also? Thank you x

notyetamumbuttrying · 01/12/2020 21:34

@Chel93 yeah so does mine, plus motility and count Confused
He takes proxeed plus sachets and eats oranges, stopped smoking and drinking, started exercising. (He's underweight rather than overweight tho). Waiting to see what his repeat SA this month says...takes 3 months to take affect.
