AF due Sunday and I feel like I'm just pointlessly hoping, very up and down this 2ww!

I think I'm fed up as I was awake at 4.30! And even then I was trying to decide if that was a symptom or not 😂😂😂

@Annny27 hard to buy when it's been 14 months of non stop trying. I'm just beyond fed up with it all! It's ruining sex for me 😂

@SS123456 it really isn't! And my Dh is odd around sex anyway and always waits for me to initiate so I am even more beyond fed up with it lol 😂 A part of me wants to just stop until we start ivf. I might bring it up with him tonight and see what he says.

Just looked at my oral bbt in light of day and it needed a good clean so now I'm kicking myself as I don't think it was measuring right! 😣 just trying to track if I've ovulated as think I might be in an annovulatory cycle, bloody annoying!

AF today, but this month I have my fertility clinic consultation (phone) so things are happening (even if it's not the BFP).

Isn't an anovulatory cycle 14 days and then you bleed again?

@originalusername6432762 I think it's a mix of knowing I have an appointment this month, and my AF mood crash not usually happening until CD3. So today is just the physical pain of cramps, the anxiety and sadness usually take a few more days to appear.

@Originalusername6432762 not necessarily, your lining sheds when it is too heavy to sustain itself after continued oestrogen production and lining build up. I think it's more pcos but waiting for fertility assessment referral once OH SA back. @Tofu35 sorry about AF, it's a kicker each time isn't it! I usually celebrate with a drinky of something nice and foods I avoid like mould ripened cheese, serrano ham, but always chocolate anytime!

Ah ok, I had a few 14day cycles earlier this year so I thought it was always like that. Mine were from coming off the injection though, my doctor thinks.

My bbt has started to rise this morning following two days of peak opks so it looks like I have just joined the crazy tww train once again 🙈🤞🏻

Can I join? I’m 33, DH 38 Been TTC 19 months (23 cycles) with no whiff of anything.
Were referred to fertility clinic in July but not received anything yet, had routine blood tests by GP and came back all good.
Thinking of going private but not sure on the next steps/likely costs.
AF started on 4/11 which has made me think a bit more about next steps if NHS are taking a while.

I was also referred to nhs in July and heard nothing! I'm going to get my gp to refer me to a private consultant but waiting for af this month just in case (due tomorrow). I am a bit older so I want to check that there are no problems with me before it's too late. I am hopeful though that the reason it's taking so long for me is because I was on the injection. Trying to think positive! :)

I would recommend looking into private to see what's available in your area (and price range!) especially with covid affecting the nhs.

I spoke to my gp a couple of days ago about things and they advised the dr I spoke to previously (August time?) has written to the fertility clinic to see if they can help us. We are not eligible for IVF. My gp said he would chase this up so I guess that is a good thing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Af has finally buggard off, woohoo!

Hey all, hope everyone has had a nice weekend. I've got my hycosy tomorrow morning, any advice from anyone who has had one? Would be great to know what to expect. I'll post back on my experience afterwards to help anyone else who has one in future.

@Motherofkittens28 good luck it's a little uncomfortable but nothing to bad. I had a group of students in on mine so the whole of the hospital saw my insides 🙄 but I did get to watch it on the digital screen after which was really interesting xx

I'm patiently awaiting our follow up apt on the 17th nothing new to report here just feeling a bit fed up with it all tbh

Thanks @Hayley19835, remind me did they find anything of note on yours? Im back home now feeling a bit meh as they said everything looked normal and my tubes are clear. I know its silly but I was kind of hoping for an answer as to why nothing is happening for us. Now I'm just going to be waiting for a letter with a follow up appointment for us, fingers crossed before Xmas.

The procedure was fine for me, uncomfortable when he inflated the balloon but that passed after a few minutes, I squealed when he put the catheter in but again it only hurt for a few seconds. I didn't feel the dye go in at all.
