I still can't bring myself to say congrats to my brother on his latest (my mum told me about it) in case I accidentally say something out of order!

I've just been told by the doctors that the wait for referrals is 39 weeks??? Surely I must have mis-heard...

"Wait for referral" does this mean after the 39 weeks you would then potentially have another wait, or is this the total wait until you're seen by a specialist?

@originalusername6432762 @tofu35 oh thats so tough!! I actually live in fear of a family pregnancy announcement. U am the oldest so it would be my much younger siblings but it still scares me!

I am having lots of ewcm today at cd9 and I always get it for a fair few days before ovulation so maybe a cd12 ovulation this month!

Thinking about it, if I had a child from my relationship I was in when my brother had his first, that would be less than ideal! In fact that ex is currently having a lot of problems with seeing his child that he had after we split up, so I guess that's a good reason for waiting until you are in the best relationship like I have. My original plan when I got in my first serious relationship was to have babies when I was 23. By 23 we were divorced... the thought of having to keep in contact with him because we had a child makes me physically sick!

I've already had the referral letter in July so that works out I should have an appointment at the start of April, I think? It seems like a long time but when I look at it I've already been waiting 16 weeks!

I suppose it depends on how that works, if that's 39 weeks and then everything after that is really quick?

@Yellowbaby1 good luck! I use Flo but that's not good for recording temperature. I can't think what other women use now but when I do I'll post again.
@Originalusername6432762 we always wanted two but one will do nicely! 39 weeks does sound long but I guess everything is messed up now! I hope you get pleasantly surprised and it's sooner.

Hey everyone, anyone else feeling utterly fed up with covid, work, autumn and endless ttc? Im having one of those days today, wish it would hurry up and be Christmas already, im ready for this year to be over! Grumble, grumble, grumble

@Originalusername6432762 I wonder if it would work the same way as for any other NHS clinic (I work in NHS) sometimes of you keep ringing you make get a cancellation appt earlier. I got in to the ME clinic 3 months earlier by doing that although not sure how many cancellations there would be. Could be worth trying x

@motherofkittens28, started buying Christmas gifts at the weekend, and debating taking one annual leave day a week to shorten the amount of Microsoft teams meetings I have to endure every day while I'm still working from home. At least TTC while working from home is easy to schedule 🙊

I hate the Christmas warm up! I hate presents, I hate everybody asking what you're doing, I hate decorations, I hate when it's dark before you even leave work... but I do love autumn leaves!

@Motherofkittens28 hell yes, fed up with everything. The winter really depresses me as well, I hate that I now go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.

@Theawkwardblonde I am trying to increase my EWCM currently, so making an effort to drink more, taking omega 3 with primrose oil and I've also bought grapefruit juice. Also drinking pom juice as I want to see if I can thicken my lining. I think I will ovulate tomorrow or Thursday so not long left!

I am currently wishing my life away waiting for our next appointment on 24th November. Fingers crossed we can be referred for IVF and it's not a long wait. I'm so ready to start!

I think i see a faint line on that one! fingers crossed.
I've just got a stupid number of episodes of EWCM, temp jumped up but then straight back down for 2 days so haven't actually ovulated and now onto 5th time of EWCM since cd 9, now on cd 23. bah! also waiting until we think fertile period is over so OH can do his SA or should he just do it when we can fit it in? we have no evidence of poor sperm quality and totally new to this!
