8DPO very very faint FRER.....(I think!)

Hi all,

I've taken a FRER this afternoon after waiting 3 mins for the results as expected, I've come up with a very very faint line, my DP reckons he can see it too but thought I'd be better off getting expert opinion!! We're currently trying for baby #1 and this is our 3rd Cycle of trying. Thanks! X

@MummyToPrince thank you! Hoping it's not an evaporation line or indent but there is a bit of a pinkish colour to it so feeling hopeful! Will try again in a couple of days x

Don’t want to dampen your hopes, and I hope your situation is different, but I had a line exactly like this after opening an FRER @stephy2021 but I wasn’t pregnant.

@Waiting2BAMummy thanks so much for your message, and it's good to have a different opinion so I can prepare myself for both scenarios.

I could also see the line before taking the test apart, does this make a difference?

If I was you OP I would try again tomorrow.

Ideally wait a few days but it's easier said than done & I wouldn't have the patience to do so.

I can see it but don't know if opening it up would have changed it. I had one exactly like that where it was just visible at the "top" and it was a bfp x

I had the same result when opening my FRER. I also googled FRER opening and nearly everyone experiences a line by doing this :(

I have also had a half line like this before opening a frer and I wasn't pregnant. I do hope that this works out for you though! Fingers crossed x

Thanks all. The line was just as visible before opening so hopefully a good sign! Anyway I'll have to wait and see!!

I had these (starting at the top of the test) as evaps I'm afraid. A good line appears throughout. Hope I'm wrong

I had one like this last month with two ICs that also looked positive - not pregnant.

@stephy2021 I'm with you in the EXACT same boat. 8dpo and I'm sure I can see a line and took 100 pictures! Now when I look at the tests I can't see any line at all 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can 100% see yours and I bet tomorrow it will be clearer xx

Thanks @stephy2021 I don't know whether these internet cheapies are any good but when I had my first baby 1.5 years ago I got a really paint positive at 9dpo on frer and the internet cheapies so fingers crossed for us both. I've also read that evaps are unusual with pink dye tests. How are you feeling? Do you feel anything 'going on' down there? I'm worried I feel

@buntingandstarcharts yes I've read the same for evap lines on pink tests, only blue ones seem to have a bad rep!

I've been feeling super tired and a bit groggy this evening. I also felt a really weird tugging on my right ovary (I think!) and was a feeling I've never felt before!! I've never TTC before so this is all super new for me! I'm going to drink loads of water before I go to sleep and then use my fmu...hopefully I'll be able to sleep lol! X

@buntingandstarcharts sadly no line at all this morning. Bit confused as yesterday's came in 3 mins, full line with a tinge of pink in it.

Oh well! Going to wait for af now and hope for the best!!
