8DPO very very faint FRER.....(I think!)

Hi all,

I've taken a FRER this afternoon after waiting 3 mins for the results as expected, I've come up with a very very faint line, my DP reckons he can see it too but thought I'd be better off getting expert opinion!! We're currently trying for baby #1 and this is our 3rd Cycle of trying. Thanks! X

It's not over yet though. I'm going to try and distract myself until af is due (6 days) and if it doesn't come I'll test again. X

Probably test 50 times before AF is due haha. Not our day. Poor us 😭

@stephy2021 I don't know if there's a chance - I would have thought the line would be clearer today. I am a bit confused as the lines were quite obvious from multiple tests. Perhaps we tested too early as the potential for chemical pregnancy is quite high. I understand that is when for whatever reason implantation is a bit iffy or the sperm and egg aren't quite right together and therefore 'miscarry'. I think then hormones still rage but no pregnancy? I don't know, could be totally wrong. Also, do you have any symptoms? Xxxxx

@buntingandstarcharts I think you're probably right re chemical.

Tbh apart from the tugging pain last night I don't really have symptoms. I have got a cold but so does my fiancé!! So disappointing!!! X

I had pulling sensations but could easily be leading up to period. I keep thinking it's coming. I'm assuming to be honest that I'm not pregnant as I can't see why it would appear positive yesterday and negative this morning 🤷🏼‍♀️

@buntingandstarcharts yes I'm in the same headspace of thinking I'm not pg. makes it easier when period does come!! Will update if anything changes!

@buntingandstarcharts sadly no more lines for me. Although I did do another FRER day before yesterday and was negative then looked again later in the day and was a line but imagine that's just an evaporation line. My af is due in 3 days so got a FRER ready to take either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm currently 11dpo so thinking it's not happening for me this month. Also not getting any symptoms at all apart from that very strange tugging feeling on 9dpo. Been a bit emotional today which is usually a sign my af is on its way!

@stephy2021 100% in the same boat. 11dpo. Took another test or 10 and some have the slightest faintest line ever... or so it seemed, but most are totally negative. Sadly, I think I'm out too. Getting the old tired, grumpy vibe. Starting to get the AF cramps too. Weep. I really hope yours doesn't come 😍

Faint tests sounds positive?!!! I'm still showing negative but period not due until next Wednesday. Decided I'm not going to test again until it's late (if it is!)

Hi, I can seem to notice I’m in the same boat as you guys, I got a call the other day from someone I went to see about my heath care, they did a pregnancy test in my urine as part of my heath care check as I said there could be a possibility of pregnancy and then told me that there was a really faint line, I have another appointment to go back this Thursday.

I took a clear blue pregnancy test 3 days ago and it came up like this (click on the link), I was just wondering does it look like an evap line or a positive. I’m 5 days away from my AF. It came up within the time frame given, but I’ve done another one today that’s negative just a cheap one as I don’t want to spend so much money if there is going to be no hope.

@stephy2021 ❤️ thanks. I wish you so much luck. You're not out til AF shows up. It took us a year with my son and I found it so stressful - so I totally understand every single tiny emotion involved in the trying and waiting game. Not that it will take you a year but what I'm saying is .... I empathise completely. Quite frankly, I cannot believe that we had sex once and suddenly I'm getting bfp tests after the year of hell before. It seems completely and utterly not possible!

@buntingandstarcharts very happy for you , it must have been very emotional/stressful trying for a year.

@stephy2021 I tried again this morning with my first urine of the day on a strip test I got off of amazon and it came back negative debating getting another clear blue again and trying that! But Thankyou so much for the positive vibes, just confusing as some tests are saying no and others are saying yes and then the health care team are saying I am but really really positive so it’s just a bit of mixed emotions!! Keeping everything crossed for you xx
