8DPO very very faint FRER.....(I think!)

Hi all,

I've taken a FRER this afternoon after waiting 3 mins for the results as expected, I've come up with a very very faint line, my DP reckons he can see it too but thought I'd be better off getting expert opinion!! We're currently trying for baby #1 and this is our 3rd Cycle of trying. Thanks! X

@Macbookbaby it's so confusing isn't it when you get a positive on one and not on the other - so disheartened. Definitely sounds good that your healthcare team are saying positive! Also I don't know that the amazon strip tests are as positive as others so perhaps that's why it's not showing positive yet x

@stephy2021 that’s what I keep telling myself is that they are saying positive and so is the clear blue but the cheap tests I have brought are saying negative, it’s just so confusing and upsetting, me and my partner have been trying for about 6 months now and still no luck!! @stephy2021 oh my god! Congratulations!!!! I’m keeping everything crossed for you I took a test strip from Amazon this morning an BFN this morning I’ve got a horrible feeling I’m going to be having a chemical xx

@Macbookbaby thank you! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it was very faint. Obvi been on google like a mad woman and apparently quite normal to have a faint bfp on day period is due.

So sorry to hear you got a bfn this am. Holding out hope for you! X

@buntingandstarcharts ha! I've taken photos at every angle lol and it just can't be seen in a picture....starting to think I might be going a bit mad!

@stephy2021 I’m so happy for you!! I have just had a load of stretchy CM which I don’t usually get before AF (I usually have white thick non stretchy CM) sorry for the TMI, So I’m holding out hope too and I have been sick for the last 3/4 days twice a day, aswell as a sharp back in my lower back every now and then, so I really am holding out hope x

Wow that all sounds super positive - so exciting!!!

I'm still trying to keep my hopes down (and failing lol). I won't be happy until it's clear as day! Going to try and wait to test on Thursday and then hopefully should have my final answer.

@Macbookbaby I had that cm with my son! I have a good feeling for you. Also the internet cheapies I've come to realise aren't as great as I thought as I'm getting bfp super dark on every test and just medium faint on cheapies xxxx

@stephy2021 btw implantation can take 12 days so it could make total sense that they're faint still xx

Am starting to feel a bit crampy - hoping it's not af!!!!

@buntingandstarcharts @stephy2021hope it is!!!!! And oh no! No wonder I have BFN if I’m using cheapies!! And it could be implantation cramping keep your hopes up! It could take a little while for the HCG to get higher in your body, someone on a thread didn’t get the BFP till a week and a half later after there missed period, I have quite a lot of stretchy clear/white CM xx

What's the update ladies?

Hopping on at 8dpo and negatives on the ic. I've since read really bad reviews on them on amazon (one step 10mui) which is giving me possible hope I could still be pregnant. Had cramps today though so not sure if af though I had them around this time when i conceived my first. Got some frer in the cupboard but waiting a few more days to use those.

@buntingandstarcharts got my af yesterday - 5 days late!! Bloody thing!

On to the next cycle!

Unfortunately I was pregnant and that was my BFP but I had a miscarriage! So I started bleeding yesterday and it was really bad which is expected as I’ve been told hoping for next month instead xx
