@2alreadywantanother flipping eck I would too. I remember the nurse telling me to ‘pull myself together’ when I was alone due to covid and crying and bleeding all over the bed after my scan. Yh thanks nurse I’m on my own and had only been trying for 5 years, that baby was my miracle.

@VP91x so sorry he was an arse. What will you do now? Is it worth trying to lose some weight? Don’t mean that offensively but I know what nhs are like for numbers 😩

I woke up and needed a wee so dipped 2 of the same tests in - 2 internet cheapies and bfn on both. Stark white as well I can't see anything. I'm really confused. Still no af and I've been having quite a bit of cramping. I would have just thought late af had it not been for seeing the faint line yesterday - maybe it's a chemical or something and I'll start bleeding soon. I started panicking myself last night about ectopic pregnancy as I was having quite bad sharp pains in one side and with ectopics you can get lower of slow rising hcg. I'm not really sure what to do now other than wait a couple of days and retest with a different test but I should be seeing a clear line by now

@Northernsoul90 try not to panic. When you can, try to pick up a frer to use. It should be quite accurate now. It’s normal to feel a bit of discomfort in one side as I remember having it with two pregnancies. Just keep monitoring and if it get very sharp and you have a fever you need to act.

I know it’s not easy but try and stay calm my lovely. Do you have chance to test later today?

Morning! @VP91x sorry to read about your gynae- honestly breaks my heart when I read it hear stories like that. As I’ve said before health services here are so poor in comparison to Austria which is why I still go home! Forget about this guy. Can you see someone else? Slight drop in temp this morning. Af supposed to be due tmr/Sunday but think will wait until Monday if I can.
@Northernsoul90 agree with @RichmondLady1981 try not to panic and just test again this morning. If you continue to feel unwell perhaps see your gp or AE? Xxx

@VP91x bless you! I hope you have managed to take care of yourself since the appointment & not let the negativity consume you.

There’s still so much chance you can conceive naturally at the weight you are/whilst you are trying to get to the NHS benchmark...so I wouldn’t give up all hope and let it completely dampen your sparkle lovely.

With all the money we spend on TTC with the OPKs, the vitamins, the Pom juice, Ava etc - I wonder if maybe an online coach for a nutrition plan & training plan with a certain target? That would maybe help with TTC not always being at the absolute fore of everything too. Just a random thought of maybe a new idea, trying to think of helpful ways for you to feel optimistic lovely and not completely crushed. It’s heartbreaking this whole process and I really wish that it was as easy as we once all naively thought it was xxxxxx

@Firevie good morning lovely! I’m 13DPO & AF was due to arrive Weds just gone according to one app, and today according to another. No AF thus far eek. But I’ve still not bought any early response tests so the tests I’ve done so far are stark white ha but they are ordinary tests so I’m just going with flow. How about you lovely? Xxxx

@VP91x sorry to hear what you have have had to go through at your gynae appointment. Some people have become so desensitised to their jobs that they just become so dismissive and cold. Sounds like they need some patient care training! Xx

@Northernsoul90 I’m sorry that today was a bfn. Fingers crossed you will see some good progression on your next test. ERFR sounds like the best bet xx

Well today I am 10dpo and I have taken a cheap 99p test with FMU. Can anyone else but me see the faintest line? I don’t want to get my hopes up quite yet after the many false positives from the Tesco tests last month. I’ve gone with pink dye this time around to save that heartbreak. Xx

@HappyVibes yay well done for holding out! That’s great and fingers crossed a good sign! I’m 11dpo today, af due tmr/Sunday so I think. Let’s see. Also trying to go with the flow but oh is convinced I’m stressing out and is getting annoyed with me. I don’t think I’m stressing but I guess subconsciously I am...🤷🏽‍♀️

Had a bit of cramping this morning when I woke up. Better now. And I think I have creamy CM but it’s hard to tell because I’m taking those progesterone pessaries also so may be cm mixed with progesterone haha. Xx

Ooh yeah I get you girl @Firevie it’s hard not to read too much into everything isn’t it. Haha that’s what I meant with when will you test...like when actually will you test though, even though you currently say next week haha.

This is the first month where I’ve ruled any little thing out, whereas usually I’m ruling them all in. Feel so relaxed this month about symptom spotting etc but not I’m not gunna lie I’m a lil disheartened about the stark whites (even though I know they’re not early 😂). Think it’s the emotion of it now being pregnancy loss week too xxx

@MinnieMouse4 I tested at 10dpo and got a very clear line on an FRER xx

@KatiePlus3 was that with FMU? Not sure whether to wait out the 48hrs for the HCG to increase or whether I will cave and test tomorrow haha xx

@MinnieMouse4 No it wasmt FMU it was middle of the day :) I've just done another cheap test with 2nd urine and I think I am roughly 11dpo today...xx

Good afternoon lovely ladies,

A bit of a new one for me today - I have just had the lovely arrival of AF. & also rang my GP for my results from my ultrasound on Monday & they advised that I have polycycstic ovaries.

A new one for me re finding out about polycycstic ovaries & completely unexpected. My cycles are completely regular so I had naively rules this out.

Anybody any advice re this at all? I’m ofc going to do lots of research now to learn a little more but thought I’d also ask you lovely ladies xxx

@HappyVibes wow that is a surprise! How do you feel about it? I don’t know much about PCOS but someone I know was diagnosed last year and she was given the advice to eat a low GI diet (whatever that means) and she swore that is what helped her conceive and she has her beautiful little baby now. Xx

@KatiePlus3 @northerngal20 @HappyVibes so little update from me. I caved and took a Superdrug own brand test this afternoon after a nice long few hours hold. These were 20miu and the results seem to be a bit better. I do still have that FRER for tomorrow morning tho! I have attached pics xx
