Oh that’s good that you’re all covered then lovely @Sallyjo27 Oh I know, I feel like once you’ve got it in your head, it’s hard to think about anything else.’it’s a blooming rollercoaster this journey. Fingers crossed for our healthy and strong bodies and chromosomes this cycle 💓💓💓

VP91x · 27/09/2020 06:37

@Firevie aw that's so lovely that you got to see her! But not easy when TTC xx

In regards to your OPKs, I wouldn't compare cycle day ratios as your LH can vary by quite alot! On the strip opks they only peak when LH surge happens so it means you will ovulate within 12-36hrs. Also depending on when you test you might catch the beginning or towards the end of your surge if that makes sense!?

@MinnieMouse4 @HappyVibes @Firevie I definitely recommend doing your OPKs at around 1/2pm and then 6/7pm if you're going to test twice a day. There is a good chance if you're testing once a day at midday or even later afternoon you could miss it! I've seen some surges happen at 8/9pm for people and then they are faint again by the next day morning or early afternoon.

I always test three times a day, it doesn't bother me to test so often, but I know that's not the case for everyone. For example my last cycle I got a 42% at 1pm, then 130% (peak) at 7.45pm and the surge continued overnight so when I test in the morning with FMU it was at 200% (super peak). I only use FMU once I've started to detect a peak to see how it is progressing. Xx

@VP91x I don’t think the other girls were on about just testing then, I think they were on about putting a morning test in too, in addition.

Don’t worry I was testing twice per day - 11am & 6pm. My evening ones were always so much fainter even around my morning dark ones. I guess it’s individual and depends on how much liquid people drink. And I didn’t want to limit my liquid too much as I drink a lot naturally & also read that you shouldn’t limit liquids as it helps with the flow of EWCM.

Xxxx

Sallyjo27 · 27/09/2020 08:20

I hope this isn’t a bit of a tmi question but how often does everyone DTD when your in your “fertile window” I’m wondering if we’re doing it enough 🙈 x

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 08:30

Nothing is TMI in here @Sallyjo27 haha.

I think we are all different. Some do the SMEP approach where you DTD every other day from CD8, and then 3 days in a row at peak. Some wait for their FW and DTD every other day in FW.

Personally, we wait till my FW & as soon as that starts we DTD every day until the day after ovulation.

If you look into our fertility chances you will see that it’s mainly the day before and day of ovulation where our highest chances are. So if you can’t do as often as XYZ, don’t feel pressured at all & just do what makes you guys feel most comfortable.

Well 9dpo and after getting my hopes up on the implantation front I woke to blood running down my legs and a big lovely clot. What is that all about?! I have a short luteal phase but my period isn’t due until Tuesday. Feeling very blue about it all - I’d probably got my hopes up too much this month, but even so I feel extra anxious now with the early bleeding.
Has this happened to anyone else?

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 11:43

@familybythesea aww lovely bless you.

Is that ordinarily very heavy for you? Some people that kind of flow could be normal. But only you know what’s unusual for you.

That is exactly the kind of flow I had when I had my chemicals - it felt like a water balloon popping.
If it is that, then some positive you could take is that you did know your body well with implantation pains, and you are fertile and if it was CP then you’re now ultra fertile.

However, on the other hand...you may very well just be 3days early with your period & maybe it’s a randomly heavy period post MC? How many cycles are you post MC lovely?

Also, another thought is that the early bleed may not be a negative sign - some women do bleed through early pregnancy...I can’t quite remember who it was on here that it happened to but they were bleeding relatively heavy & all was very healthy at the scans.

Maybe see how you get on over the next few days flow wise & then you’ll be a bit more in the know. Xxxxx

2020wish · 27/09/2020 12:13

@Sallyjo27 I found DTD every 2 days stressed us both out and we never caught those months we did. But when we just DTD the two days before ovulation and the day off ovulation we caught every time. We also used preseed and fertilily cup

familybythesea · 27/09/2020 12:53

Thank you @HappyVibes - I appreciate you chatting with me about it, even if it is one of those situations where there’s no answers! I don’t normally bleed heavily at the start of my period, I tend to have a couple of light days from day 28 and then a heavier bleed 3-4 days later (what would be around 14dpo). So this seems earlier and heavier than normal, making me wonder about a chemical. But no bfp so I’ll never know.
I did bleed quite heavily at the start of my pregnancy with my DS, but had already got my bfp. No bleeding at all for my missed miscarriage (back in March, but I have had at least one chemical since then). I feel like my periods have got really weird and different each time since my mmc though. Hope you’re having a good weekend xxx

TTCROYGBIV · 27/09/2020 13:42

Can I join? Ttc#3 since May 2019.

Got pregnant in March after 4 chemicals. Got to 9.5 weeks and discovered blighted Ovum mmc. Had medical management in May, surgical in June for retained products and surgery again in July. Now 11 weeks past 2nd surgery (CD78) and still waiting for AF. No BFP either.

I think I may be trying to ovulate this week as my sex drive appears to have returned, had ewcm. Not OPKing as was adding additional stress. Don’t temp as too lazy. Started acupuncture last week.

Suppose I will have to see in the next couple of weeks if AF arrives. X

MinnieMouse4 · 27/09/2020 14:21

@HappyVibes you are my good luck charm! I tested with CBD this morning and had a negative result but I have just done another cheap OPK and it’s a much higher result than yesterday! Fingers crossed I’ll be getting my peak soon! Xx

Sallyjo27 · 27/09/2020 14:34

@HappyVibes @2020wish thank you both, in the past I think we’ve done it too much 😂🙈 usually every day and then 2 times the day before I ovulate and the day I ovulate. We’re trying a much more laid back approach this time 😂 x

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 15:20

Welcome @TTCROYGBIV hopefully you’ll find comfort & support in the thread.

Ah amazing @MinnieMouse4 definitely on the up & going the right way for sure. Hopefully that’s reassuring for you. Sure you’ll get your flashies over the next few days 🤞🏽

Oh gosh @Sallyjo27 it’s a blooming tough call isn’t it with how often etc.

Xxx

Furbsies · 27/09/2020 15:21

@runnergirl1 so sorry for such a delay. Cm was still wet and egg like...no AF. No signs of AF. Pain in the right side and some nausea so now my gp has suggested I go UCC to rule out ectopic and also have a beta-hcg blood test

Not sure what I should do.

AutumnDays90 · 27/09/2020 16:19

Hi ladies,

9-10 dpo today and two separate first response tests have showed the faintest pink positives.

What do you think? New pregnancy?

As I said earlier in the thread, I had a MMC at 9 weeks surgically removed on 4th Sept, so haven't yet had a period. But I did have positive OPKs 14 days after the surgery and had stark negative cheap pregnancy tests just before ovulation.

Just wish I had done a FRER after my surgery to have a baseline for these tests now 3 weeks later!

Confused, hopeful, anxious!

Would be an amazing stroke of luck to be pregnant again so soon as we actually suffer from male infertility and had to have IVF for our two year old daughter. MMC was naturally conceived.

Runnergirl1 · 27/09/2020 16:21

@Furbsies no need to apologise. I had brown discharge when wiping Sometimes yesterday and again today but no sign of af and nothing on the pad either. I’m so confused Have you decided what to do? It’s awful this isn’t it it’s a horrible limbo. I’m going to test again tomorrow and see if this maybe a very late ovulation and then implantation but I think that’s just wishful thinking x

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 16:46

@AutumnDays90 I can 100% see a line there for sure lovely, there’s no doubting that line at all. If you had a strong negative after MMC, then there’s no reason that this couldn’t be a positive surely? This would be absolutely amazing if this is your BFP! I know we want to protect ourselves and air on the side of caution early days, but I genuinely can’t see a reason why it couldn’t be if you had a negative after MMC. Xxx

Firevie · 27/09/2020 16:54

@VP91x @HappyVibes thanks ladies! I’ve just done my cheap OPKS and as you ladies said I got my high at 1.37 yay yay yay! So, I think I will do another one tmr morning around 11.30 perhaps and I will do my cbd in with FMU also. Do you suggest I do another cheap OPKS tonight in an hour? Probably not? We are DTD every day anyway and will continue for a few days after confirmed ovulation. Just in case. Xxx

Firevie · 27/09/2020 16:57

@MinnieMouse4 yay just seen your pic - that’s great! You’re getting there! Yay! See my pic attached

MinnieMouse4 · 27/09/2020 17:15

@AutumnDays90 I can also definitely see the line there is no mistaking it! Fingers crossed for progression for you! Xx

@Firevie wow that is such a great jump! Congrats on your peak! Hopefully mine will be here soon enough and we will be in our TWW before we know it! Xx

@HappyVibes I have gone through a pack of the CBD so I got another one yesterday. Should I be using the same digital stick in the original pack or should I just use the one in the new pack? I have read on here that it needs to take a baseline to detect a surge but I don’t know if it makes any difference to which stick I use? Xx

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 17:17

@Firevie amazing! If I was you, I would test at least x2 per day for the next two days with the OPKs just so you catch your peak. This is a high, but also may turn out to be your peak...depending on the next few results. If you could test at maybe 9pm? Worth a try isn’t it? Nothing lost? Woohoo xxx

AutumnDays90 · 27/09/2020 17:23

@HappyVibes thank you so much for confirming that I am not seeing things! I have been staring at them for so long in shock.

You are so right, thank you for your reassurance. I am fairly positive that it is a new pregnancy. Hopefully a healthy, sticky one at that. My AF isn't due until Friday so that will be a long wait.

We have been trying for a total of 4 years, we can't afford more IVF 😔 I so hope this is to be our baby 🤞

AutumnDays90 · 27/09/2020 17:26

@MinnieMouse4 thank you Flowers always good to have extra eyes confirm it.

I hope your peak arrives soon!

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 19:33

@MinnieMouse4 definitely keep using your old stick for the rest of this cycle hun. Don’t change sticks, or you would get a O tomorrow, whereas it seems you may actually get a static, or your last flashy 🤞🏽😀xxx

HappyVibes · 27/09/2020 19:35

Aww wow @AutumnDays90 what a magical part of the journey this would be for you both. Sending you lots of well wishes for your sticky lil bean.

How are you both feeling? Xxxx
