Hi All, I had a mmc at the end of June, and am now 8dpo after our first ovulation since the mmc. Surprisingly, I got this result this morning. Seems too early but it's there... Anyone else got a recent bfp after a miscarriage and is going through the anxiety of it all happening again? Hoping to see lots of rainbow babies xx

Hi all
I'm 5 weeks now after early losses in January and April. I don't know how I'm going to tolerate the uncertainty! I have no sense that this pregnancy is going to result in an actual baby, it just feels so vulnerable. I keep trying to remind myself that every successful pregnancy goes through these early stages and make it!

Emmaa124 · 07/09/2020 10:41

Just stay positive it will happen I was crying the other day cause I thought it would never happen and then this happened good luck to everyone x

recreationalcalpol · 07/09/2020 11:19

Lovely strong positive on a FRER this morning at 12DPO. Much stronger than with my MC in July. Feeling very positive about this one, having felt like my last pregnancy was doomed from the start

Looks fab @recreationalcalpol, congrats! 😍 I think mine was just a chemical or false test. Ugh.
@Semele5069 I agree, the uncertainty is so crap! What do we do it for huh.

Isn’t it weird how sometimes we just know, last time I think I knew somethin was wrong, but it came as a shock. This time from the start I’ve not felt like it’s going to go right.

I thought it was just because of what happened in july, but maybe my body was letting me know not to get attached

recreationalcalpol · 07/09/2020 12:02

Oh sansa I’ve got everything crossed for you. Like you say, it’s weird how you can just know. Can you get a scan once you get to six weeks? I’m planning to see my consultant at 6/7 weeks ish.

LRboop · 07/09/2020 12:04

Hi everyone, I'm really encouraged by how quickly some of you got pregnant after MC. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of May and haven't got pregnant again yet, it took 10 cycles to get pregnant. Feel like I'm so anxious about not being able to get pregnant again and then if I do I'll just worry about losing it. I haven't had any CM in the last two cycles so also nervous about that. reading these chats are very helpful.

LittleTiger007 · 07/09/2020 12:27

Hello ladies, can I join you? I had a miscarriage at the end of June and a d&c on 8th July. Now I’m 10 dpo. I haven’t taken a test yesterday, but I have all the same symptoms as before. I’m prettified to go through it all again but desp to conceive as I’m getting on in years. This is our first. All that happened in June/July was hard to bear

LittleTiger007 · 07/09/2020 12:28

Sorry above should say I haven’t taken a test yet! Not yesterday!

Sansa87 · 07/09/2020 12:32

If nothing has happened by the end of the week (I’m away until Friday) then I’ll book an early scan. At least it will let us know once and for all.

ArjaD · 07/09/2020 12:35

Welcome ladies!! Join the worry club! X wish we had a crystal ball, that would just make it easier! @LRboop it's odd how it can differ so much from person to person huh. Hard going, I hope you get your bfp soon 🤞🤞

@Sansa87 we were planning to pay for a 6 week scan too, before the tests turned against us 😩

Thanks so much @ArjaD - hope you get a positive soon too and it's not a chemical

Yeah, it's bizarre alright how we are all different. A lot of people told me I'd get pregnant straight away after MC as it's common so I had a lot of false hope it seemed. I just would love to be pregnant before my due date as I'm already dreading it.

ArjaD · 07/09/2020 12:57

@LRboop I know exactly how you feel. Our due date was Xmas day of all days. I think it will be a bit of a sad Xmas this year with that in mind. When was yours supposed to be? X

Think I'm also going to get a private 6 weeks scan too!

savethewales · 07/09/2020 13:16

Hi everyone, can I join? I had a miscarriage in February and a chemical pregnancy in March after starting to try in December last year. We had to put things on hold after March as my husband became poorly and ended up in hospital. We really gave it a shot in August and I've had this today; I'm either 4 days before my period or 5 (depending which app you use) and have took it with afternoon wee. I'm already terrified it's going to go wrong, but trying to stay up beat! How is everyone else?

@savethewales aw congrats!!!! That's a great positive, hope it's a sticky bean ❤️ feel free to stay with us, pour out the worry!

My due date was 9th Dec so close to yours. Wow, that's tough :( Thought it was a lovely time to give birth. Fingers crossed we're all pregnant by December so we have a nice distraction.

Congrats @savethewales

I'd definitely be getting early private scans. I can imagine going every week if I get a BFP!

Baby2123 · 07/09/2020 14:12

Hi ladies,

I’ve been on here a good few months now and I finally got my BFP Saturday after losing our baby at 23 weeks in March. I’m soooo excited yet sooo scared, we’re planing to go for a NIPT test at 10 weeks. Has anyone had one of these before?

Littlebee1990 · 07/09/2020 14:24

Congrats to everyone else. Definitley feels like a weird time, just cannot feel excited but also have this little ping of hope every now and then. We’re on holiday and I’ve got 2 other tests with us (1 digital) so I think I’ll do another FRER Wednesday and then the digital at end of week. Taking every inch of patience not to use them now 🤪

I had book an early test last time and the clinic let me cancel and held my deposit so once I feel a little more secure I’ll book another one for 6-7 weeks 🤞🏼

I think my EDD will be mid-May which id love but really cannot get too excited as it’s sooo early. This will be our first baby, I’m 30 x

@ArjaD Have you got a pic of the original test? Perhaps today’s test is a dodgy one? Xx

Semele5069 · 07/09/2020 15:20

I just had a look at available dates for a 7 week scan locally but between availability and work I don't think I could do one until 8 weeks.

How much can they see on a scan at 6 weeks? I'd like some reassurance there's something in there sooner than 8 weeks but can imagine how much I'd freak myself out if it was unclear!

Emmaa124 · 07/09/2020 15:23

I've got my positives and I'm still buying tests cause I also most can't believe it after I've been through a mc is this too much?

ArjaD · 07/09/2020 15:30

@Littlebee1990 here was yesterday's test which I now think was a dud 😳

@Emmaa124 I’m exactly the same!

Emmaa124 · 07/09/2020 15:39

@ArjaD did it come up before the time was up and @savethewales phew haha it's just a weird time especially after a mc glad I'm not the only one
