Morning girls! I'm so stressed out atm sorting all the tenancy stuff out whilst trying to exchange on the house and moving out within 2 weeks' time!

I had another high temp today so I do think it's looking like I may have ovulated on CD10 (not CD9 like I mentioned earlier @Minster2012 , I misread the dates on my chart). Which annoyingly means we'd only have DTD on O-5, O-3 and O+1... not ideal. Although I assume it would be a pretty rubbish egg at CD10 anyway!

@Vil10 omg can you imagine if we got paid for POAS 😂😂😂

@Minster2012 thank you I shall take a look ! I need to order some more opks as I've ran out of my cb and fermometer ones! 😭

@notyetamumbuttrying I can never be subtle when I'm being off so he always noticed which is good I guess! @Katao yeah I have to wait a week for any blood results from the doctors! Didn't you have yours done at the hospital @notyetamumbuttrying ??

@Vil no, I have very regular 28/29 day cycles. I was recommended them by my sister (who conceived on her second cycle) and I got caught up in the TTC excitement and bought them. In hindsight they seem like an overpriced marketing ploy so I stopped taking them mid cycle and was just going to pick up with plain folic acid. However, I know a lot of people credit them for their pregnancies!

In my head I'm secretly hoping my dog has some kind of sixth sense and will tell me when I'm pregnant (I've watched marley and me too many times!) but unless I conceive a cocktail sausage I cant see him being particularly interested!

@LBee2020 yeah I've heard bad things about them but like you say for some people it works, I suppose it's just what's best for you and your body! I just use plain folic acid from Holland and barret!

Yeah hospital @lucyrp so perhaps that's why it was the next day.
Awks, I ovulate cd10 @Juno231 but then I haven't gotten pregnant yet so they are probably rubbish eggs lol! I'll let you know more once we're in with the fertility clinic. Google says early ov is bad but I've found loads of women who have conceived no probs with early ov so I'm still thinking our lack of success is more our sperm issue than egg issue. Perhaps it's both!?

@notyetamumbuttrying I was thinking the same thing! With these short cycles I'm having, if I ovulate at all it must be early 🙈

@notyetamumbuttrying oh that's interesting! I think CD10 is on the cusp tbh, although I think anything single digit is meant to be really difficult for conception. Fingers crossed that's not an issue for either of us in that case - I'm sure your GP would have mentioned it if it was!

@notyetamumbuttrying Ohh also when the guy has a lower sperm count they say you should dtd on the most important days but not too much? I read it in "how to take charge of your fertility" book.

Can I also just point out that most of the people I know who have gotten pregnant only dtd like twice?! God maybe we are doing too much 😂😂

@Minster2012 I also get really sick with my period, first few months of Ttc I convinced myself I was pregnant 😬

6dpo today for me and nothing to report except I'm super bloated(definitely from alllllll the food I ate over the weekend with my friend haha) I'm also curious to know whether my af will come later because I ovulated later? Is that how it works? I ovulated this month cd18 instead of my cd15 so will af be 3 days late following on from it does anyone know?

@Missgoldilocks LPs tend to stay pretty much the same length so in theory yes your AF should be 3 days later. Depends on how stable it is normally? Mine seems to vary between 12-14 days so would be less reliable this way.

@Katao thing is, my cycles have always been short so I'm not too worried. It's a concern when they get shorter over time apparently.
@Juno231 my gp was shit lol so probs not. I'm hoping the clinic will give better insight. They're not concerned about me tho so I'll take that for now.
@Missgoldilocks yep, I've already told him we won't be doing it everyday in Fw. Gonna aim for day before peak and then ov and then anything else will be cos we fancy it. We also need to up it more in tww as it only tends to be once. Or he can wank, I don't really care, I just need to make sure he's regularly releasing, how delightful 😂

I know, I try to make sure we get one out of the way before fw just so the old sperm is gone and we can start afresh haha

@notyetamumbuttrying that's what mine are doing, getting shorter. Although if I don't count the spotting (which probably isn't great in itself 🙈) this is the longest I've had in a while.

I don't know what on earth my body is doing but I've been spotting on and off all day so af is imminent. BUT I've booked an apt with the doctor to start fertility intervention and that's making me feel positive. I was quite scared but the lady who booked it was super nice and really helpful which is lovely. The doctor is going to give me an initial telephone consultation and then ask us both to go in for further tests and treatment options. I feel like something is finally going to happen 🤞🏼

Hey ladies, I had not one phone call back about my complaint but a total of THREE from different people at the surgery and one of them said "oh dear we're not very organised are we" hmm no it doesn't seem so... anyway I'm going for my CD21 on the 28th and then a week after having a telephone consultation to talk about the resukrs and then we're being referred to a fertility clinic ... not sure what that means. Anyway I need to persuade OH to go to his doctor and get a sperm test first just to see if it's anything to do with him 😬

Thing is, my FW starts day after my period as my cycles are short 😫 think we'll do it then and then day before peak and then ov. 3 times should be ok.

12dpo for me and a bfn. Looks like I’m out. First full cycle post mmc but was really hoping for some luck before my birthday in a few weeks. Gutted is an understatement. Only positive to take is if af shows her ugly face on Friday fertile window opens around my birthday so lots of baby dancing x

@Newbie0818 that's really good and it IS progress. And it doesn't mean you stop TTC in the mean time, it just means you have a back up plan and investigations too. I think that's what @lucyrp needs. Reassurance that you are also DOING positive steps to help matters. So that's great! Well done!

@Missgoldilocks we've often said that most of this TTC malarkey isn't sexy, but hell you could all do it my way instead, in a lab and with condoms, & someone constantly sticking a condom covered dildo like wand up your foof to scan you whilst you do your best not to ask them questions "does my womb look good?" THEN you'll know unsexy TTC 😂😩🤔

Well I've started my Wednesday off with a BANG! Get it 🤨😏🤣 I took my bbt first but then soon after realised how am I gonna POAS when I've just had sex .... will it still work ?🤣🙈

@notyetamumbuttrying @Minster2012 the problem is OH and I have already been pregnant together but that was somewhat 4 years ago and that took 9 months to even happen. And I hadn't even been on contraception for a good 2 years as I'd been pregnant with DS for some of it and then didn't go onto anything as I was breastfeeding🤷🏼‍♀️

P.s isn't it funny how men are so worried about having their dicks looked at by doctors and jizzing in a pot when thays literally all they have to do and is women have to get our foofs out, spread our legs like frogs, have stuff stuck us up continually for examinations ...🤣 my OH is not keek at someone looking at his dick at all🙄
