OK SO I UNCHARACTERISTICALLY CAVED for no apparent reason but anyways.... line eyes please.....

I never test so early because I'm scared of a chemical and getting my hopes up I think the pressure of first AF after MC got me me perhaps....

Is it worth using same urine to test again to check it's not just a false one or will they be same batch so same problem if it is a fault?

Dizzy201 · 10/09/2020 19:29

@Peblet sorry for your loss 😔 welcome to the group and hope you get a pregnancy that sticks soon x

@Bl0ndi3 I can def see a line, could just be faint as its early? Could be worth testing again and if you get the same maybe track results over a few days or get another brand?

familybythesea · 10/09/2020 19:31

@Firevie that's great that you already have the progesterone - hopefully that does the trick for you! :)

familybythesea · 10/09/2020 19:37

@Peblet Hello and sorry for your loss. I hope you're doing ok.

@Bl0ndi3 I can see a line :) I hope very much it's the BFP you're waiting for.

Peblet · 10/09/2020 19:42

Thank you, same to you all 😘

@Bl0ndi3 I see a line xx

familybythesea · 10/09/2020 19:43

I was wondering if anyone here is knowledgeable about the GP tests? I have been rambling on about how I'm worried I had mine too early and got my results today. The woman on reception who gave them to me was just awful, her actual words were: 'Here they are...oh yes, you're showing as perimenopausal. And you're 37. Oh dear, that's not good is it? Your FSH level is very high.' My heart dropped and I hardly knew what to say back. Anyway, the only results she had were FSH 2.4 and LH 4.9. After googling I can't work out how this is high? And shouldn't they have tested some other things too? I feel so lacking in confidence that I'm in good hands - trying not to be upset about it but I just feel so anxious. Any words of wisdom very welcome!

MichT4 · 10/09/2020 19:52

@Peblet sorry for your loss and welcome to the group. I hope AF arrives for you soon so you can have a fresh new cycle

@Bl0ndi3 I can see a line! At 9dpo it's probably just faint. Ooh exciting, hope it progresses for you.

@Lollol86 how lovely! I hope it all goes well. How are you feeling?

@Dizzy201 have you taken any more tests? How are the lines?

@familybythesea I'm so sorry for your receptionist experience. That's awful. I'd definitely complain. Receptionist have no right to give information like that over the phone with no context. I don't know what the numbers mean but I'd ask for a doctor to call you tomorrow to discuss

Bl0ndi3 · 10/09/2020 20:06

Thanks all glad it's not just me but it's too early for me to get carried away, terrified of it being a chemical so I'll test again tomorrow and see how I go.

If I get another line tomorrow I will order some FRER I think x

Sully84 · 10/09/2020 20:14

@familybythesea that receptionist doesn’t sound good at all, I would definitely bring it up with the doctor or email the surgery. Do you have an appointment with your doctor to explain your results?

Firevie · 10/09/2020 20:32

@familybythesea oh no that sounds awful! What an idiot! Hope you get to speak to your doctor tmr. And you should def complain! Xxx

Dizzy201 · 10/09/2020 20:42

@MichT4 I did one this morning and the line is thicker but still faint, my boobs have grown a cup size already, am very tired and going to the toilet loads, gonna do a first response type on Saturday morning but I think its gonna be positive again, just hope it stays positive this time. Hope you get some good news once you have been to your appointment 😊

MinnieMouse4 · 10/09/2020 21:17

@Sully84 ah okay. That must have been awful just before Christmas. I’m so sorry to hear that. Hopefully after your last cycle everything has reset itself ready for your rainbow baby xx

@Bl0ndi3 there is absolutely still time and hopefully some symptoms will appear soon! I can definitely see a faint line and I remember having a similar line on one of those tests when I was PG! I have everything crossed for some good line progression! Xx

@Peblet welcome to the thread and sorry to hear about your loss. My first AF post MC arrived yesterday after a 36 day wait! I’m ready to try again this month. Fingers crossed AF arrives speedy for you xx

@familybythesea I am so sorry to hear you had to go through that with your GP receptionist. Some of them can really be so cold. I would complain either through the practice manager or PALS! I remember my GP receptionist put the phone down on me on the day I started MC bleeding because I couldn’t use their online system! I was furious! I agree with @MichT4 that they shouldn’t be allowed to give information out like that and in that manner. Hopefully you get to speak to your GP soon! Xx

Update from me - CD2 and I am so much more relaxed than I was a few days ago. I’m happy I have an answer now that AF has arrived and I know I can get on with SMEP next week. Are there any other ladies in a similar stage of their cycle that wouldn’t mind buddying up with me? Xx

Lollol86 · 10/09/2020 21:17

@Bl0ndi3 I'm 7+5 weeks. I can definitely see a second line 🤞🏻 xx

@Peblet so sorry for your loss, welcome to this thread xx

@MichT4 im ok thank you just really tired and sore boobs, but I welcome any symptoms. How are you doing, no af yet? Xx

Peblet · 10/09/2020 21:29

Thanks ladies ☺️

@MinnieMouse4 that’s great, it’s comforting to know that things are back to ‘normal’ isn’t it!
Exciting and anxious times ahead!

MichT4 · 10/09/2020 22:37

Sounds positive @Dizzy201, and thank you 🤞🏼

I'm ok thank you @Lollol86. Thought I had glimmers of early AF today but completely disappeared again so back to waiting. Getting a little weary of it now.
So glad to hear everything is going smoothly, and even the symptoms are a nice reminder of that. Hope you aren't feeling too rough though xx

chloedancer897 · 10/09/2020 22:57

@MinnieMouse4 I'm CD3 so we are cycle buddies again!

My OH got his updated semen analysis and it's not great. Morphology is low, at 1.8% although this was from August last year and he has been taking vitamins and cut right back on caffeine so I'm hoping it's a bit better. I just feel like we are constantly hitting walls. Weirdly this evening I've been the one being really hopeful and he's the one who is very negative and doesn't think it will happen. I think I'm getting all my positivity from @HappyVibes ! I said I have a feeling we will be pregnant by Christmas. I had a premonition that I'd have a baby at 36 which would be next year. Not that I'm psychic or anything but it's a weird thing to think! OH is completely against IVF now, he doesn't want to do it at all. I'm still hoping it will happen naturally but I hadn't ruled out some assistance. But I'm happy to just play by ear and see how things go.

How is everyone else?x

susiebluebell · 10/09/2020 23:11

Doing well over here, just stuck without internet in the new house! 😭

So pleased for you @Bl0ndi3 that is a real line!

And welcome @Peblet you'll find lovely support here x

VP91x · 11/09/2020 05:38

@MinnieMouse4 you'll probably find that your LP might be different post MC as some of us have had, so you might be earlier this cycle. Are you using opks this time? Maybe start SMEP a little later if you think you ovulate atound cd19 so you don't run out of steam depending on how you and OH feel xx

@Firevie so general rule of thumb is that you count CD1 from when you have a proper flow so pop it down as spotting until it starts to get heavier. LP between 10-16 days is normal so don't stress! Xx

@Bl0ndi3 ooh, I can see a vfl! Let us know what it looks like this morning xx

@Lollol86 that's come around quickly!! So pleased everything is progressing well for you. I tested this morning at 9dpo and nothing will wait it out.

@peblet welcome, 💕 so sorry for your recent loss. How are you feeling? X

@familybythesea well first of all your receptionist shouldn't be discussing your results. Whenever I ring they just read out if it says normal or schedule an appt they nevrr say the values. Definitely complain. Secondly, your FSH isn't high so no idea what she is on about. My FSH was 4.9 when I got mine tested. Definitely schedule an appt asap with your doc so he can talk things through with you ASAP xx

@chloedancer897 he is probably feeling a bit put out by him having potentially low morphology. Maybe have a chat about it again in a couple of days once he has processed everything? Have you been feeling better? Xx

Update from me - 9DPO today tested with a FRER and absolutely nothing. Will test again Sunday x

@Bl0ndi3 I see something! 👀

RichmondLady1981 · 11/09/2020 07:37

@Peblet welcome to the group. Lots of support and knowledge here! X

RichmondLady1981 · 11/09/2020 07:41

Can I ask you all pls, at how many days DPO does a FRER (on average) pick up a pregnancy?

VP91x · 11/09/2020 07:54

@RichmondLady1981 I think the most common is like 11dpo. Some people get lines from 7dpo but that is very rare. Xx

Morning ladies....

So annoyingly I'm still waking up in the night to wee (5:12am today, 4:07 yesterday haha!) so my FMU is very diluted but I've just taken this test with 3 hour urine that was very pale....

It is there and still pale but I'm surprised with how diluted my urine was that there's anything there at all this morning.

I'll hold and test again later and pick up some tests either on my lunch or when I'm go shopping tomorrow
