@MichT4 I'm taking more relaxed approach so far. I'm testing for OV now as it should be any time now but I'm trying not to test for pregnancy until my period is expected. I wouldn't have known about chemical if I didn't test early. On 12 dpo last cycle morning test was negative and I was coming to realization that it is ok if I'm not pregnant this month and I will be a mom in 2021( the test was at the end of positive). But that's how I feel now, it will happen. Sending you lots of love !

@MichT4 allow urself to be upset. U have been through a lot! As some of the others have stated above i was oddly recovered quicker after my third and the more relaxed. Making stop tempting as u know u do ovulate and just opk around peak time? That’s what I did after my third. Hopefully by the time ur referral comes round your rainbow baby will already be on the way

Update from me.. still lurking but sickness has hyped up and feeling mostly too hungover to type.. but I welcome every symptom. I had my 9 week scan yesterday in the epu and the midwife noticed my anxiety and shaking and mindset that I was getting bad news even tho I’ve zero reason to believe something is wrong other than my history (I hadn’t even slept in 24hrs before the scan), so she’s referring me for help and advised I do yoga and meditation. I seen my baby and a video of its wee arms and legs moving about and being very active... couldn’t believe the difference in 3 weeks. She’s told me everything couldn’t be more perfect and I need to enjoy this time. It’s so hard tho as I truely believe having so many loses and no real medical support causes trauma

@2020wish I'm so so glad everything is well with your little baby! Is she referring you to perinatal mental health? It's so important to get support, I'm sure we will all need some during our pregnancies. I hope the sickness isn't too debilitating for you, it isn't nice at all! Xx

@VP91x yes I think it’s some counselling for the anxiety. The sickness actually went away for a whole week then boom it’s back stronger. But it’s reassuring also that things are progressing

I just want to say thank you all so much for your support and lovely messages. You all have a very special place in my heart 🥰

Today is a new day and one to look forward. If my private medical won't help then I will just wait for a referral and keep trying in the meantime. I'd love to get pregnant naturally, just like most people do, with no reference to all the miscarriages, so maybe it's my chance. Obviously if it comes to it, I'll take all the help I can get.
I will try and be more relaxed but will probably keep temping because it's just wearing something at night, and I still don't have a clue when I'll be ovulating - especially now I haven't even bled. So a mindful approach, perhaps with some acupuncture or something. I might also look for private clinics to self fund but not expecting to find any bargains.

@2020wish how lovely you saw your wriggly baby, so happy for you. Sorry about the sickness and anxiety - really glad they are looking after you.

@MichT4 you sound so much better today / I’m really pleased. You are such a strong woman and this attitude of yours just proves it. Def try acupuncture. Mine is in Canary Wharf and quite expensive but if you’d like I can share the info with you along with the info of my private doctor in London just in case you need it xxx

@Firevie I just can't keep getting myself down because of things I can't control. It feels like a referral is essential now but it might not find anything, or worse - might find something that can't be fixed. I will welcome tests, but if my healthcare won't cover it, then that's that. I can't be angry over it. I don't want to force it, get into investigations and then they say they won't pay out.
There are lovely stories in here of people carrying their 4th pregnancies, so there's every chance it might happen. And if you're having the investigations, you can't try, so maybe a little more time with a referral in my back pocket is best.
I'm worried they can't look for PCOS because that'll be a wait too, but I can probably get that one done privately as it's not as much.
I just felt exhausted of it yesterday, and I don't want to resent this journey

@MichT4 do whatever feels right for you. What does OH say/think? Whilst I’m sure it is so hard to not give up hope, in time perhaps you will see that silver lining and a miracle will happen for you when you least expect it! I’m okay thanks, all good. I’ve had a great holiday but now I’m ready to get back to my routine and be back home again with OH! Xxx

@Firevie he wants to be tested ASAP, but I think he will just go with the flow. I'll have a chat with the insurance co, and see what they say and suggest. I do have an outpatient limit of £1,000 unless I increase my cover first, so I could still end up with a meaty bill. I just wonder whether to leave it to fate and still trust my body will do what it needs to.
It's tricky, I'll just take it all as it comes and see what feels right.
Sometimes it is nice to come back to the normal routine. Do you still have to isolate? xx

@2020wish Great news on your scan and that baby is doing so well 💖 I bet it was amazing to see them wriggling around! I think that's really positive about the counselling and it's so true what you said about mc and then no medical support - we are just left to deal with it. Xx

Yep still have to isolate once I’m back next week but that’s proving quite good actually so means I can home office for two more weeks before ging back to the office 2/3 times a week xxx

@MichT4 such a fantastic attitude hun, it's heartbreaking & it's crap what our bodies put us through, I see so many easily falling pregnant & not wanting to be & can't help but feel why me! You will get there hun, keep the faith & don't let the Drs fob you off, I agree with @Firevie that too often fertility is overlooked!

As for all fellow pcos'ers I had my DD unmedicated, took me 3 years but got referred for ovarian drilling & conceived 2 months after so there is hope, I was told by the first consultant that the chances of conceiving were slim to mine & she was a private referral so don't listen!!!

Me, I'm CD33 today, still don't know wtf is going on! I haven't tested again, I won't be until start of the week, if af doesn't show, I'm not feeling optimistic tbh but I guess I'm not out till she shows! Have had really bad headaches last few days, still getting cm which although isn't tons it's creamy & a bit stretchy, not like usual, no more spotting, looking back it was only one streak of brown & that was in Monday! My nipples hurt but that's the only boob pain I have, it's all very weird!

Hey guys everything’s good, measuring smaller than I expected but she explained that can be because it’s not accurate at this stage and also depends how long fertilisation and implantation took. They don’t want to see me again until 12 weeks unless there’s any problems so il book a private for my 8 week milestone and 10 if I get there. Partners are allowed again soon so hopefully he can come to my 12 week if I get there. Thanks for all the good lucks guys xx
