@Mich2020 that does still look very faint. Could you have ovulated late?

Mich2020 · 11/09/2020 07:30

@MamaPheebz I don't think it's going to be good news is it? I am 90% sure going by opk/ clearblue monitor that got a peak on 30th August.. so ovulated either 31st/1st. Don't know whether to use my last frer in a bit then maybe order some clearblue. I before when had DD had quite an obvious line on clearblue quite early on x

MamaPheebz · 11/09/2020 07:40

Oh you are still early to be testing then. You might get a decent positive 2 weeks after your positive OPK so on Monday. I know it’s hard but try to relax. It is all out of your control so just try to focus on taking care of yourself. X

Emc16x · 11/09/2020 07:45

Hi ladies. Thought I’d jump on - my first time ever posting on here. It’s so nice to see all the amazing support! I don’t really have any friends to talk to about this stuff as we’re all at different stages in our lives! So thankfully I have you all!

My husband and I have been TTC since May! I came off the Depo injection September 2019, and have just started fertility blood tests at doctors as nothing is happening yet. Periods are a little irregular from depo! Clear blue ovulation tests have been all over the place. One peak in August. 6 highs this month and no peak Confused

Sending you all baby dust for this month! Fingers crossed for us all.Smile My AF is due 23rd, just bought some early detections just in case!

Is any boy else getting blood tests done at doctors? What are the next steps? What are they showing for you? All mine are coming back inconclusive atm as we’re testing on the wrong days due to irregular periods! Xxx

Emc16x · 11/09/2020 07:46

Anybody* else getting blood tests done atm?

Mich2020 · 11/09/2020 07:58

@MamaPheebz relaxing sounds easy doesn't it haha. I will try though. And thank you 😊 just so impatient and would like to know ASAP 🙈🙈 x

Mich2020 · 11/09/2020 07:59

I'm sorry @Emc16x I'm not having blood. But I wish you all the best xx

Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 10:03

@SarahMumof1DS sorry missed your response! I was advised by doctor to use small doses of aspirin with my history of chemicals-who knows if it will help.

Hello to everyone, I've been off here for a few days so been out the loop. I'm 2dpo and already symptom spotting 🤣🤣

Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 10:08

Hi @Emc16x I'm a newbie too-it can be daunting pushing for the first time but I've found people very friendly on here. Wishing you luck TTC.
I've not had bloods done but we have our first appointment with GP on Monday to discuss fertility- I'm assuming bloods will be the next step for me after this.

SarahMumof1DS · 11/09/2020 10:15

@Theawkwardblonde, no worries. My notifications aren't working properly so I sometimes miss messages. Oh ok, I wonder why they advise to take that. Maybe something to do with the blood.

Im sorry for your chemicals. Can I ask, did you get any symptoms with your chemicals like early spotting? I'm not sure if I've had a few chemicals because of early spotting but I never got a positive hpt so I could never confirm it.

Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 10:35

@SarahMumof1DS it's something to do with improving blood flow to the uterus. It's not fully proven if successful but doctors said it wouldn't harm. It's a really low dose, only 75mg daily.

With both my chemicals I'd had a positive hpt, one 3 days before period due date, other when I was 3 days late for period.
Both times I had horrific cramping and spotting before it fully started into a period/loss. Both of these occurred at the 5/6 week mark. I had missed periods for 3 days with both, then the light spotting started. I bled a lot heavier (sorry tmi) and the cramps were far worse than a standard period too if that makes sense. Then obviously had a negative hpt. Tbh I would probably have missed them both if I wasn't actively testing/TTC. Would have just put them down to a heavy late period.

SarahMumof1DS · 11/09/2020 11:29

@Theawkwardblonde that's interesting to know. Did you stop taking it in the end then?

Thanks for sharing and I'm sorry for your losses. I had 4 days of early spotting and then a fairly normal period so I'm not sure what happened. It was just very strange that I didn't normally bleed before due date until we started TTC then for 3 months running I had early spotting and lots of symptoms but then AF arrived. It's so confusing and emotionally testing isn't it.

Queenie193 · 11/09/2020 11:43

Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind me crashing. Me and DH got married in August and are now TTC #1. I've had lady problems in the past so not overly getting my hopes up (whilst crazily obsessing at the same time! Ha ha). So.... peak appeared yesterday after 7 days of HF, DTD monday and yesterday. I'm just after some advise as what classes as 1DPO?

Good luck and baby dust to all of you 💓

Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 13:30

@Queenie193 welcome! I believe 1DPO is around 24/48 hours after your peak. Peak indicates ovulation will happen in the next 12-48 hours so it's quite hard to fully pinpoint ovulation unless you're temping. I usually class 1DPO the day after I've had my positive opk but I may be wrong.

@SarahMumof1DS I'm still taking it, only been taking it a couple of months so hoping this month is a success. Your periods do sound strange, it could be a chemical, or it could be an off period, particularly if you've been stressed, working out loads etc. I had really regular periods but since TTC they end up a bit erratic with differing cycle lengths and spotting 😂 Sod's law as it messes with your brain!

WantABunInTheOven · 11/09/2020 14:23

Oh Lordy! Just nipped to the loo before going to pick up the wee fella and I think I may have an implantation bleed. Have been trying not to symptom spot but the headaches started a couple of days ago and light cramping. I’m now 6 DPO and impatiently waiting to test!!🤣X

SarahMumof1DS · 11/09/2020 14:37

@Theawkwardblonde I hope it helps your body to support pregnancy better and you get your BFP as a result.

I wonder if it's just stress related then. Yeah it's like your brain changes when you start TTC. My original thinking was that it was implantation bleeding but then didn't stick maybe before hpt could even detect it. It would explain all my other symptoms but hey it could also just be the hormones and stress from overthinking it. Confused

Emmie12345 · 11/09/2020 14:42

Tested with the other supermarket test this morning and got another v faint line

Def gonna get a frer if no period this weekend

TTC September 2020 Bus
Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 14:42

@SarahMumof1DS it does sound like it could have been a chemical (awful name for it). My hormones were all over-I was feral and couldn't even drink wine!
I had implantation bleeding with my first one, if happened about 4 days befits period was due and was one wipe of blood. I know everyone is different but ongoing spotting generally isn't implantation, but then again who knows! Fingers crossed for us TTC, I'm getting beyond bored with the drabs each month. I'm in the 2ww now so here's hoping all goes okay!

Theawkwardblonde · 11/09/2020 14:43

@Emmie12345 yep there is deffo faint lines on those! Fingers crossed!

Emmie12345 · 11/09/2020 14:48

Apparently @Theawkwardblonde you can get false positives on that brand (Sainsbury!) so will buy a frer I think

Mich2020 · 11/09/2020 14:54

Eeek @Emmie12345 Keep us updated. Can defo see lines xx

colacrisp · 11/09/2020 15:02

Just jumping on this as had my coil taken out 2 months ago and overly eager that this will be the month!!

Af due tomorrow though so who knows

Emc16x · 11/09/2020 15:08

@Emmie12345 I agree with all the other ladies. I can see lines! Keeping everything crossed for you!

My husband and I DTD a few times when I was getting ‘High’ (flashing smiley faces) on the clear blue ovulation kits (I didn’t have ewcm or peak though) but hoping we got something right this month! Xxx

WantABunInTheOven · 11/09/2020 15:08

@Emmie12345 I can definitely see them too. Fingers crossed. X

Emc16x · 11/09/2020 15:09

@colacrisp fingers crossed for you too!
