So, I’m now on cd29, AF didn’t show yesterday. Just took a test and . . . !!

I am beyond thrilled for you!!!! Congratulations!!!! How are you feeling? Did you haven an inkling or were you completely shocked?

@Daffodil21 not and inkling at all! Last couple of months I’ve been spotting from around cd26 and this month nothing. Line came up pretty much as soon as my pee touched it, couldn’t believe my eyes! Came out of the toilet holding it in shock as my dh was coming out the bedroom. Now we’re just sitting here wondering what to do next and how we’re supposed to be reacting 😂 Will do another one in a min to make sure. Now what?! Lol

@CEW19 how lovely!! Now you basque in the relief/excitement/happiness/'oh shit' 😂 then when you're ready arrange your booking app with the midwife. They won't want to see you until 8 weeks or so though so you'll feel a little left to it until then. I think you can self refer online but I just called my GP and they got the midwife to get in touch with me

CD2 for me. Another month, another possibility :) husband has another SA booked in next month, and then it's a couple's phone consultation with the fertility clinic in March. Good to have some dates in the diary!

Thanks @acaciabluebell having a massive wobble now though. Got another scan on Wednesday and absolutely dreading it. It feels like everything has stopped and there's nothing going on in there anymore. I had been feeling pills and stretches all the way through, but nothing for the last few days. How are you doing?

For those considering acupuncture I honestly cannot recommend it enough so go for it! I had planned to have it once a fortnight but then I got pregnant after the first go (one of the ones that didn't last). Then afterwards I ovulated sooner than usual after a mc, and sooner than even my usual cycle so I'm convinced it must have had something to do with it. The cost does add up but for me I thought it was worth it

I can't believe but I've actually managed to book Day 3 and Day 21 bloods for this month., wohoo! The GP receptionist didn't even make a fuss either, unlike the one I spoke to last month who I basically had to beg, and then ended up being cancelled it anyway.

Anyway, it's all guesswork for me this month! I wasn't tracking, and then noticed I had a fair bit EWCM but no usual ovulation cramps which confused me. I did a OPK randomly yesterday and got a strong line. Today there's barely a second line so can only assume I've ovulated. I haven't used OPKs in months as my ovulation cramps have been so regular. Hopefully the dates I've booked will be the right dates! I've also registered DH with my GP so we can book his SA too.

@Daffodil21 I hope everything goes smoothly on Wednesday. It must be difficult feeling so anxious.

@Tofu35 Good luck for this cycle hopefully this will be the one!! Is the fertility clinic a private one or NHS?

@acaciabluebell thank you. If you're not sure on ovulation could you book a couple of tests? This is what my GP suggested

@acaciabluebell woohoo for getting those tests booked in! You better buy a lottery ticket as well, you're on a lucky streak :)

Its the NHS one, I paid for a private test in the meantime (just before Christmas) to hopefully speed things along so I think the march appointment will be discussing all test results and talking about next steps.

@Daffodil21 Do you mean like the day after? Or do you mean if I get signs of ovulation on another day then I book another test?

@Tofu35 That's brilliant! How long did you wait overall to get your appt at the fertility clinic? I'm expecting to wait another year tbh 😣

@acaciabluebell I mean maybe book a few blood tests a couple of days apart? I guess that depends on how helpful your gp is, but if you explain that you can pinpoint ovulation then hopefully they'll go with it.

So glad there's progress going on in this group in terms of investigations. I know how daunting that feels but it really is better to get checked out, so hope you're all feeling okay about it ❤️

@acaciabluebell, I was referred in July from my GP when I turned 35 and had been trying for about 10 months, had an initial phone consultation in Oct/November (sorry months are a blur right now!) and my next appt is in March. I had a private hycosy test in December in the hope it would speed along my NHS wait.

My GP gave me two rounds of blood tests (different parts of my cycle) and smear test so I was all gift wrapped for the clinic!

Just had my scan and all ok! It's wriggling around and even looked like it was waving at us at one point 😂
