@Poppyismyfavourite I know so scary can't believe how quick it's going!! - 30 weeks at the end of Jan, it's madness!!

@Poppyismyfavourite ah sorry I misread that and thought you had they baby's room to do! Im sure your little one won't mind what the walls are like for a few years 😀 but it would be nice for you to have it done! So exciting for you and @JTB123!!!

Thanks @Daffodil21, I feel bad posting on a conception thread but you guys are so lovely :). I def went through a super-broody phase before we could start ttc where I had an unreasonable jealous hatred for all pregnant women, so feel free to tell me to bugger off if you like.

@Poppyismyfavourite I feel bad hanging around here still too, but I feel comfortable here and I don't feel properly pregnant if that makes sense. I honestly can't see how this pregnancy is going to end with an actual baby so I feel happier staying on the TTC board!

I still can't stand pregnant women, and I still hate announcements! I just desperately hope we get to that point!

I hope that one day soon everyone here has moved on from TTC and is healthily pregnant ❤️

Just staring the TWW here, though my luteal phase seems to be getting later and later. Ovulated CD18 this month and AF usually comes on day 28. We shall see. Going to book in for more tests and try acupuncture if we’re not successful this month.

On 8th cycle of ttc and could seriously do with some support! I’m 27 and would love to meet a ttc buddy who is a similar age/been trying for a similar amount of time! 🤙🏻

We want you preggers ones on here! It's nice to hear your news and how you're getting on 🤗 it's not negativity @Daffodil21 it's understandable that you feel that way, but we all hope that everything turns out okay. All we can ever do is wait and see.

@CEW19 can you let me know what acupuncture is like? Not just for fertility, but in itself? It's supposed to be really good!

I'm coming up to 9 months TTC now and am in the TWW. To be honest, and this sounds awful, but I think I'm making some decisions about what I want. My OH cousin had a baby today, loads of my friends are expecting, but I feel absolutely nothing but pleased for them. I don't feel broody or jealous. As each month goes on and it's always negative, I'm not disappointed, it's as if I'm relieved. I'm self employed and this past year has really brought it home to me how much financially I'd be seriously screwed by having a family. There's practically no maternity protection, I get nothing sick pay wise and no pensions unless I'm working. I think I need to do some serious thinking about if having a baby is right for me.

@Bramleyapples13 I can't recommend acupuncture enough. I got my bfp 2 weeks after my first session, then after my mc I ovulated slightly earlier than I usually would have, and conceived again. It definitely seemed to be doing something.
Sounds like you have lots of thinking to do, it may not be a never thing, maybe a bit right now thing? Covid certainly can't help with these decisions!

I definitely have some thinking to do. And about of both myself and my OH are on the same page about things with us as a couple.

@Poppyismyfavourite I am thank you. Just need to look at things to understand stuff financially a bit better about where I'd stand.

Hey all, went into a bit of hibernation at the TWW. I think I put a lot of hope on the hycosy changing my luck- but now 10DPO and temperature is starting to dip. So all those twinges and pinches and feelings like my lower abdomen was stretching were just regular body feels rather than anything 'happening'.

But as @daffodil21 always says, it's not over until it's over! I'll be testing this Wednesday so trying to not completely give up this month :)

Hey everyone, I hope you're well. I've been off here for a while as I've not been great mentally. In a fit of anger the other day I deleted all my period tracking apps so I have no idea where in my cycle I am. I think I want to take a break from all this headache for a little bit.

@acaciabluebell sometimes not knowing where you are in your cycle and not knowing when you're in the f** tww is a good thing. I go so crazy in the tww, I can't believe I let myself get like that time and time again. If you need to take a break then do it, it's a gruelling and constant cycle to be on. There's no harm in giving yourself some time out if you need. We'll all be here when you're ready again.

@Tofu35 sorry to hear that, but 10dpo is still early to get a bfp so guess what? You're not out until you're out 😀 fingers crossed!

I've booked myself a private scan for this afternoon. I know I only had one NYE and the next nhs one is 20th, but I've worked myself up so much into whether it's still alive or not that I just have to know. Absolutely dreading it but it's something I need to do, I can't spend the next 10 days and my booking app thinking it's gone, I just need to know either way

I hope your scan goes okay! If you feel like that then it's best to get checked and looked at.

Thank you @Bramleyapples13 - scan went well! Heartbeat still going and measuring ban go on for dates again! We heard the heartbeat and it's beginning to take shape - you can see a head and even the beginnings of a nose! Can't quite believe it tbh, although a long way to go still

@acaciabluebell welcome back (sadly), I think it's perfectly reasonable to take a break if you need too - to stop it taking over your life!

@Daffodil21 so pleased to hear everything is still looking good in there!

I just had a consultation with an acupuncturist and booked an appointment for next Wednesday. So interesting some of the things she was saying around the importance of sleep and just shutting off and not letting TTC consume you (yeah right!). Going to try and leave my phone downstairs so I go to sleep straight away and doing a bit of meditation to break my thought process. AF due this weekend but pretty sure nothings happened again this month.

Good luck with the acupuncturist @cew19! I've started doing yoga with adrienne again, lots of talk about mindful breathing and letting go of worries. I do always feel calmer after doing it, so hopefully it will give me some good vibes going into this new month :)

Fantastic news @Daffodil21 🤗 I find it incredible how quickly little beans develop to even have noses at this stage.

@CEW19 have you gone to a fertility acupuncturist? I've been wanting to try it for a while but not just for fertility.

@Bramleyapples13 yes she specialises in fertility acupuncture. She just asked loads of questions about my cycle, diet and exercise, sleep, stress, some questions about husband. She’ll start off next week with a taster session, said she’d recommend 4 weeks before pinpointing different stages of my cycle.

As expected, AF is definitely on the way and probs here by tomorrow which will be CD28. So another 10 day luteal phase.

Hello @Ttcsummer just come across your post on here! I'm also 27 and TTC #1. Came off the depo in Dec 2019, AF made a comeback in June 2020 and am still trying so about the same length as you. I could really do with some support as we're trying to keep it relaxed at the moment and haven't really told anyone to try and prevent any pressure of others getting excited.. would love to stay in contact and support one another on this journey. Fingers crossed 2021 is our year! 🙏
