Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

I'll reply to the messages tomorrow morning but just wanted to get your opinions - I am in agony with my tooth, would you or wouldn't you take ibuprofen in the tww? Obvs it isnt advise in pregnancy and I feel silly for soldiering on if I am not pregnant but also if I am pregnant and I miscarry I would be like ahh its because you took ibuprofen.....😭😭😭

I would take one or two and see if it helps...
It might not even help if the pain is so bad.
But honestly i think if you don't abuse the ibuprofen it should be ok.

I'm taking one @SunnySideUp2020 honestly this tooth pain is agony, never felt anything like it 😪😪😪😪😭😭😭😭

@Annny27 aw sorry to hear, please don't stay like this lovely. Take the ibuprofen regularly to reduce inflammation and pain.
And go back to the dentist!
i was also paranoid about ibuprofen in tww but teeth being sorted out before pregnancy is a massive deal!

@sunnysideup2020 the dentist has now agreed its an infection (been saying it for a week.....) and has prescribed me antibiotics s which I start taking today so fingers crossed it gets sorted. The ibuprofen really reduced the pain so I am do thankful I took it and got some sleep!

Google reminded me that I am not the most anxious ttc woman in the world. I was googling "eating pate in the tww" and this came up as a suggestion haha! Chicken 🤣🤣

Ahh sorry @Annny27 that you are suffering with your tooth. Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.

Loving the google searches. I think we could write a book on TTC and the random google searches!!

So nauseous from my antibiotics (they affect me quite a lot) but the evil ttc devil in my brain is like "obv you are pregnant at 5dpo......" 🤣

How are we all doing? I am 8dpo nothing going on thats not normal - and even if it was, it would probs be the antibiotics :p

@Annny27 I’m good thanks CD 8 for me so Wednesday onwards it’s that time again 🙄 think we are in a bit of a rut as it’s the only time we are going the deed.

Hope the tooth pain is gone, I'm cd11 today normally ovulate around cd11 and CD13 going by previous months but not tracking at all just going with it and dtd as much as possible lol, got my app coming through nxt month so I'm taking a chilled approach for now. Also got my app for my check up of my op for abnormal cells where removed last year on the 17th Jan so wana get that over with. Hopefully this is your month girl 🙏🤞🍀💚

@Annny27 I love the picture below😂😂 hope your tooth is feeling better with the antibiotics!! Are you going to need root canal? My DH has an abscess last January and I've never seen him in so much pain..toothache sounds horrendous!!

@babyghirl hopefully all is well at the appointment and there's no abnormal cells 🙏

@27DONFIN we only dtd during fertile period which is a bit sad! My husband said it made him a bit sad and I had all intentions of making an effort after ovulation but then I had my tooth issues so dtd has not happened haha!

@Leok83 I had a root canal which I think caused this infection so its just been a lot of pain for a while tbh haha! Yeah I never wsnt toothache like that again!!

I'm praying they have not returned myself was meant to have a follow up 6 months after the op but with covid it has all put everything bck. Then will look forward to the fertility consultant app and hopefully they can help us hold on to a future pregnancy I'm so ready for my rainbow baby now x

Thank you @scrumdiddly123 I’m just hibernating at the mo wishing time away as so paranoid that something bad is going to happen again.

I’ve booked a private scan at 7 weeks so we can go into Christmas knowing where we are at. Also so we can tell my Mum and our friends that are spending Christmas Day with us as they will know something when I’m not drinking. After the scan I might be brave enough to post on the graduate thread.

Have had my dates through and have my 12 week scan on 22nd Jan (Jan is going to be a long month) but no midwife appointment as have got a consultant appointment instead for a couple of days before my scan. Very confused as thought I would still have a midwife booking in appointment.

@Annny27 hope the tooth is better now and the antibiotics mean you arent in pain anymore.

Thanks @SunnySideUp2020 for giving us more hope for out OH's issues. It's so reassuring to hear the success stories. I hope you're pregnancy is getting on well.

@Annny27 hope your tooth is feeling a lot better now. Sorry the antibiotics is mimicking symptoms! How frustrating.
I've had sore boobs for the last week but I'm not hopeful as yesterday they felt deflated and I had stomach cramps so indicates AF is close (I think should come today or tomorrow based on me being 12DPO today)

Hopefully it's not the witch on her way and she stays away for the nxt 9 months, how many months is it nw from your lose. Anytime I have lost it has took me nearly 11 months each time to fall again hoping it does nt take that long this time around 🤞🙏🍀💚

Go to your gp ask to be referred to a fertility specialist they say to get help after a year off trying, I know how you feel after 3 miscarriages there's days where I loss hope but we got to stay positive that we will get r rainbow babies soon. I'm waiting on an app for the fertility clinic said I should have one for Jan so I'm just going with the flow until then. But don't give up hope r dreams r just a found the corner. 🍀💚

Morning, 10dpo for me and just having normal tww symptoms!

@Nuggetlover27 so sorry lovely :( its so rubbish! This cycle is my 12th month trying since the miscarriage- this time last year I was prepping my mind for trying again and I was so naively optimistic!!

@Babyghirl luckily I dont think our age bracket will need to make that vaccine decision anytime soon! I am sure its all just precaution but best to follow the advice :)

@ELM7 I think if you are consultant led, you see the consultants in lieu of the midwifes. Could be wrong though!

I work for the NHS so I can receive it if I want but going to take his advice and refuse it I'm not for putting ttc on the back burner for 3 months even thou it has took me 11 months to conceive each time but knowing my luck I would take it and it would be the month I would get lucky lol.

@Nuggetlover27 sorry Af is here. I hate that when you convince your self as you start imagining things snd almost planning little things. Don’t be too hard on yourself we all do it xx

@ELM7 I imagine you’d still need a booking in appt with the midwife as they go through so much paperwork and can’t imagine the consultant would do that? I’m consultant led and saw him after my 12 week scan as well as the usual midwife stuff. I would probably call to double check. Will keep everything crossed for your scan 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
