Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

Ah I'm sorry @Annny27 😞 I really hope you get some positive news from your tests. It's so cruel and unfair when you desperately want this.

No I don't have any symptoms. The mild waves of nausea I was having seems to have stopped (I'm not sure if it's because we were doing lots of travelling in the car before). Either way I've not noticed it for the past 2 days. Slightly sore boobs and I keep getting a really mild pinching type sensation but nothing major. I had pretty much 0 symptoms with my last pregnancy and I always thought it was probably a bad sign (although I have friends who escaped any obvious symptoms and their babies are just fine) - bring on the morning sickness 😬

I did my last frer this morning. It's definitely darker than the one I did at 12dpo so I'm pleased. There's no denying there is a second line, still not sure it's that dark for 14dpo though but I'm not overly worried (for now) whilst I can see they're still getting darker.

@fizzl deffo looks good :D its darkening and thats all that matters 🥰🥰

Yep lots of my friends had 0 symptoms and have healthy babies!

@Annny27 💖💖💖 I really hope your rainbow is just round the corner, goodness knows you deserve it! Xx

27DONFIN · 18/10/2020 18:54

@Fizzl congratulations such brilliant news. I can’t handle those tests I’m all scout digital yes or no lol

EJay84 · 18/10/2020 21:13

Hi again everyone. Congratulations to those with BFP's. I hope everything sticks for you this time around. It's been 4 weeks since I found out about my MMC now and 5 weeks since baby's heart stopped at 8+5. I still haven't passed the baby, even after 2 doses of Misoprostol. I passed a big clot on Friday night but nothing since. I have had contraction pains on and off all weekend but it doesn't seem to be coming to anything. The hospital won't see me for another week. It's absolute torture! x

@Annny27 I love that photo and really hope we hear our rainbows shouting soon. Sorry AF has arrived but glad you’ve got your bloods booked.

So after spending the day earlier in the week in tears I decided to bite the bullet and have made an appointment with the Drs for the end of the month to get the ball rolling on tests.

@EJay84 I’m so sorry you are still suffering. I can’t believe the hospital won’t do anything for another week that is terrible to leave you like this. Sending you big hugs.

Leok83 · 18/10/2020 21:34

@Fizzl that's definitely darkening nicely!! I wouldn't be worried with that at all..with my CP in April the next day the line had really faded compared to the first so compared with that you are well in the clear! So so happy for you!! Congratulations!!😊

@Annny27 I'm so sorry AF here for you😔, your rainbow baby will come soon. Xx

EJay84 · 18/10/2020 21:42

Thanks @ELM7. Their policy is not to touch you until 3 weeks after Misoprostol unless there's an emergency x

Annny27 · 19/10/2020 08:47

Morning :D

Got some good news - my progesterone was 67 so that relieves some of my worries 🥰

@EJay84 thats awful :( I would have thought they would intervene before that :( hopefully things happen soon for you!

@ELM7 thats good lovely! Hopefully will put some worries at ease. How long did it take to conceive last time? It took me 4 months so now being on month 11 is a bit of a shock! (Month 18 overall I think with ttc, pregnancy, miscarriage, ttc)

@scrumdiddly123 yes let's hope so 🥰🥰

@Leok83 thank you 🥰 how long untill 20 week scan?

@Annny27
67 is good! You definitely have ovulated and good levels for pregnancy :)

@Fizzl
It is progressing!! Defo not a chemical.

27DONFIN · 19/10/2020 09:45

@Annny27 glad you got some good news

@EJay84 I’m so sorry really feel for you going through that.

ELM7 · 19/10/2020 10:16

Glad you’ve had some good news @Annny27. One less thing to worry about.

Last time took 7mths to conceive. So would say we’ve spent the last 2 years on the TTC journey from planning to come off the pill (as had to wait for 6mths from coming back from honeymoon because of the possibility of Zika virus) TTC, short window of being pregnant, dealing with MMC and then back on TTC again for the last 11 months 🤦🏼‍♀️ Never thought it would take this long. 💔

27DONFIN · 19/10/2020 10:17

Ladies needing some advice. Sorry if this is too much info....I think I’m Ovulating today ( not testing this month to confirm) and Iv just been to the toilet and the reason I think I am is the about of cervical mucus. My pants even have wet marks but my concern is a had a small red tinge when I looked in the toilet and when I wiped a very small red string. Iv never had spotting or anything during my cycle. I’m just slightly worried it’s at ovulation and I now feel a little dull cramping. Is this normal?

Annny27 · 19/10/2020 10:25

@SunnySideUp2020 yes definitley optimal levels 🥰 saw the scan photo of your cutie little girl. Its wonderful 💗

@27DONFIN sometimes women have mid ovulation bleeding e.g as the egg is released or sometimes from too much sex (🙈) - I went to my doctor once about mid cycle apotting as its only ever happened once and she said nothing to worry about. But might be worth giving them a call!

@ELM7 its heartbreaking isn't it! I thought I would definitely have a baby in my arms right now! I have always been somewhat worried about my fertility which is ironic as I should have been worried about my husbands haha!

Fizzl · 19/10/2020 14:10

Thanks guys. I think I need to stop testing now 😳 (lying to self).

I've rang the hospital this morning to get the ball rolling with sorting out the blood thinners I'll need. It all feels a bit soon to be making appointments but figured I'd better get in there soon to make sure they can see me at the 6 week mark all being well. Just waiting for someone to ring me back.

@EJay84 that sounds really tough 💐 I'm sorry you're left in this limbo, it's really awful.

@Annny27 that's great news about your progesterone! That's a really good level! Will you be able to stop taking the suppositories now?

@27DONFIN like anny has said a one off bit of spotting isn't normally anything to worry about. I had the teeny tiniest bit this cycle just before ovulation and just put it down to one of those things. If I wasn't looking for it I wouldn't have noticed. I had quite a bit of mid cycle spotting back in may/June over a few days and the doctors weren't worried at all. They did swabs to check for infection but all clear. In the end that appeared to be down to me not ovulating that month.

@ELM7 hopefully you will feel better now you're getting the ball rolling with things 💐

Kamacs12 · 19/10/2020 14:14

I hope it’s okay for me to post on here... just found out I’m having a miscarriage and I’m absolutely gutted. Does it get better? I don’t know what to do with myself.

Fizzl · 19/10/2020 14:16

@Kamacs12 sorry you're going through this 💐 in my experience it does get a lot better but it's an emotional roller coaster (sorry if that sounds a bit cliche!) and it will take time. Look after yourself.

Kamacs12 · 19/10/2020 14:19

@fizzl Thank you ❤️ I didn’t know I could love something so much that I’d only known about for three weeks.

Annny27 · 19/10/2020 14:30

@fizzl yes maybe treat yourself to a test in a weeks time 🥰 thats good that you have started the ball rolling with the hospital and blood thinner stuff!

And yeah no point me taking the progesterone stuff anymore :) they are gross anyway and made my lose so much hair in the shower!!! So I am happy haha

@kamacs12 so sorry about your miscarriage :( I was an emotional wreck for about 3 weeks afterwards - crying most of the time but also feeling really ill from my medication and weak from the surgery so it was a pretty awful time! Now it's more of a distant pain that hits me every once in a while but its definitely not nice to go through :( have you told any friends or family?

OP posts:
Fizzl · 19/10/2020 14:34

@Kamacs12 it's devastating and it's a huge loss. We started this group almost a year ago now and if it's any reassurance some of the girls have already gone on to have their rainbow babies and many are pregnant.

The first few months after are hard. My body seemed to take a while to recover which felt like forever at the time. But you do get there in the end and your body recovers. Emotionally it's a different story as you begin the process of ttc all over again! I took 3 months before starting to ttc again but everyone is different and many people felt ready to start trying again straight away 💐
