Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

Awk thanx girls for all the positive msg still not out off the woods yet but hoping and staying positive is all I can do. How r you girls getting in can't wait to c the bfp coming on 🙏🤞🍀

Annny27 · 08/10/2020 20:48

Evening ladies :D I have been super busy with work which has taken my mind off the start of the tww so I am happy about that :D I'm trying not to think about what dpo I am and am not recording symptoms on my app either because they have meant F all for the last 10 months 😂😂

P.s husband has a doctors call tomorrow for them to tell him his results! We called on Wednesday and the receptionist said they had literally just come through but the doctor obviously hadn't seen them to review yet so she couldn't comment haha! We are both nervous!!

@Babyghirl thats wonderful news lovely :) I was thinking of you this morning! Did you have a little cry of relief? You have a precious heartbeat and baby growing inside and that's amazing 💗💗💗

@Nuggetlover27 so stressful for you :( but I am so pleased they found the car! Was it damaged atall?
it was recently a year since my bfp too and I cant believe the heartbreak we have been through over the last year!!

@27DONFIN sorry that AF arrived :( lots of chocolate and trashy tv! Xx

@ELM7 I hope that now you are taking a step back that you start to feel more yourself. Perhaps you will even go back to a time when we didnt check our cervical fluid and squeeze our boobs to check if they are sore!

@fizzl seems like we are both pretty busy and tied up with work at the moment! Which is lovely tbh to not think of it everyday isnt it :D

@scrumdiddly123 yes I am really pleased with how they took me seriously for once! Hows bump coming along?

27DONFIN · 08/10/2020 21:48

@Annny27 good luck tomorrow with the results

Annny27 · 09/10/2020 09:02

So bit of bad news :(

So he has low morphology so the shape of the sperm is bad :S but he has a lot more sperm than average - the GP didn't really say much tbh just said I need to have my tests and then we can revisit :/

27DONFIN · 09/10/2020 09:21

@Annny27 try not be disheartened. It’s only one sample. This is the problem with nhs they test men once meanwhile women have various tests. A lot of things Iv read from private clinics is they say ideal a mans sperm needs to be tests 3 times and over a reasonable period of time as one big drinking session one month can affect the quality the next month or few months later

Annny27 · 09/10/2020 09:24

Thats reassuring to hear @27DONFIN :)

Think my husband is a bit upset :( but also we conceived within 4 months last time so no reason to say it won't happen again - they do say "it only takes one" haha

OP posts:
ELM7 · 09/10/2020 09:41

@Annny27 sorry to hear wasn’t all positive news from Drs but like you said it only takes one to hit the spot and it has happened it’s just so hard waiting for it to happen again. Hope your husband is ok.

That’s one thing that worries me if we go for tests if there is anything not 100% positive on Hubby side that he will go into such a downer and will struggle to come back from. So for him ignorance is bliss.

Annny27 · 09/10/2020 09:58

@ELM7 my husbands just came in with a plan of action bless him and is downstairs making himself a healthy salad for lunch to try get his diet better 😭💗💗

@SunnySideUp2020 am I right in thinking your OH had sperm morphology issues?

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 09/10/2020 12:42

@Annny27 yes. My DP had 3% on different tests. Will send you a PM

Annny27 · 10/10/2020 20:43

@SunnySideUp2020 thanks lovely 🥰

How's everyone else doing this weekend? Having a pretty lazy weekend which is nice:D

OP posts:
scrumdiddly123 · 10/10/2020 21:07

Sorry it wasn’t all good news @Annny27, hopefully you’ll know more when you’ve had all your tests done as well. And like you said you’ve conceived before so no reason you won’t again!
All ok with me thank you, 14 weeks now which is crazy! We told our children last week which was nice after having to hide it for so long x

Annny27 · 12/10/2020 21:28

Evening ladies! I am around 8 or 9dpo today. Had my progesterone blood test early this morning so hopefully thats looking good 🤞

@scrumdiddly123 ahh thats so lovely! Did the expect anything before or a total surprise?:D

How's all my ttc ladies doing - you are all quiet, hopefully trying the "relaxed" approach haha!

OP posts:
ELM7 · 12/10/2020 22:12

Hi @Annny27 TWW seems to of gone quickly (although prob not for you) any symptom spotting? When will you get results of blood test?

So yep nice and relaxed here 😂 when I got all chuffed that hubby will be back from Scotland before the end of fertile week. So whilst no OPKs this month I just can’t quite forget when ov is due 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

scrumdiddly123 · 12/10/2020 22:28

@Annny27 it was funny actually, they all seemed really shocked but then the next day my eldest who’s 11 said ‘well I did wonder why I got a notification on my phone saying 12 week scan!’. Turns out my iPhone calendar is synced to his which I didn’t realise so all my appts he gets through to his phone as well 🙈😂. Bless him!
Hope the rest of the 2WW goes quickly for you 🤞🏻

Nuggetlover27 · 13/10/2020 18:33

Evening ladies,
Hope you're all okay
Sorry your news from the dr wasn't good @Annny27 but hopefully you will get better news with more tests

@27DONFIN I have no idea when ov will be. It was happening around CD26 but last month was around CD18ish I think.
I'm not doing OPKs or temps this month. I've had enough of this whole TTC journey ☹️

Fizzl · 14/10/2020 08:50

Morning everyone 😄 sorry have been m.I.a we've been away so will have to go back and catch up properly.

@Annny27 hopefully that's not as bad as you might feel it is. Hopefully the doctor will give you more information and put your mind at ease a little. It does only take 1 and I've been constantly reassured by various doctors etc that if we've fallen pregnant naturally before, there's a very strong likelihood it will happen again. I really hope this is the case for you 💐 it's also good that your dh is being so proactive! I've been trying to get mine onboard since Jan and he's been doing mostly ok but can't shake some bad habits - the booze! He has massively cut down but I'd like him to cut down more. It's hard tho because I feel like I'm constantly nagging at him which isn't great either. He has recognised he could do more but he's also of the mindset that he doesn't want it to take over our lives. Which I get but also get slightly irritated by when it feels like I'm doing everything physically within my control to try and make this happen.

My DH has his SA soon and I'm actually quite anxious about it. I keep trying to tell myself that we've fallen pregnant before so it can't be that bad and know I'll be massively worrying if that's not the case and it will just add to the stress and anxiety of it all.

I'm 10dpo and feel like AF is about to arrive. I've started having cramps like she's about to begin. I got really upset last night over nothing and then annoyed with myself as I've been trying really hard to relax and not stress (and felt I'd don't quite well this month)! It's such a vicious circle. I was then upset that by being upset I'd ruined our chances this month 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ trying to reassure myself I read a study where they tested progesterone levels of guinea pigs after a short exposure to stress. The impact on their progesterone levels was a huge decrease. But then I realised how ridiculous I was comparing myself to a guinea pig and that this really was not helping me to stay relaxed 😂😆.The hilarity of what ttc does to you. Bloomin google 😠

Annny27 · 14/10/2020 10:54

Morning ladies :) I am around 11dpo today and similar to @fizzl , I also feel like AF is on the way, my boobs are a little deflated compared to yesterday and having some mild cramping! Don't even know whether to cry or just think "well ofcourse you arent pregnant, why did you even contemplate it"

@fizzl hope that you had a good time away! Nice to have a break :) and good luck for your DHs sperm analysis! Let's hope its good news 🤞🤞

And totally I stress about me feeling too stressed which then makes me more stressed 🙈🙈

@nuggetlover27 totally agree I am fed up with it all too! I am also not going to do Opks next month - I have lots of ewcm so I know when I am fertile and I dont need to know the exact day of ovulation!

@scrumdiddly123 hahaha thats so funny that your son got the calendar notification! Omg 😂😂😂

@ELM7 yayyy glad hubby is home for some of fertile week!!! And yep it has gone quick for me actually as I have been keeping busy haha!

And not sure about the blood tests results, will probably call back next Monday to see if they are in yet

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 14/10/2020 11:28

Just checking in on you ladies to c how yous r all going, c some off you r in the tww goodluck 🍀💚🤞 it will happen girls my anxiety is through the roof doc has signed me off sick for 2 weeks I'm on the mind set I can't change wats going to happen or the outcome sorry to inform yous it's harder when yous do get that bfp girls lol your anxiety then sets on to another level 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 x

27DONFIN · 14/10/2020 11:44

@Nuggetlover27 snap I’m not testing this month either. I’m actually trying not to use my tracking app either just feel it makes me worse constantly counting down to ovulation and Af. Definitely lost any excitement about trying to conceive

ELM7 · 14/10/2020 14:39

@Annny27 @Nuggetlover27 @27DONFIN I think we’ve all just run out of steam on this TTC journey. Let’s hope the break in OPKs and testing works in our favour for some BFPs

@Fizzl but the guinea pig research actually made me laugh out loud. Google is not our friend just helps add to the madness! 😂

Babyghirl · 14/10/2020 15:19

Don't know if you ladies will watch but there's a show on tomara nite at ten on five, called miscarriages and our stories x

Annny27 · 15/10/2020 08:09

Morning :D

@Babyghirl sorry you are feeling anxious lovely! When is your next scan? You are further than you were with your last pregnancy so thats a really good sign :D

@ELM7 yes totally bored of my whole month being dictated by what cycle day I am. Hate it all!!!

@27DONFIN yep its really disheartening. I feel bitter when I see "first month ttc so excited 😍😍" threads. Remembering that it used to be me so excited! :(

OP posts:
Annny27 · 15/10/2020 08:09

Also its wave of light at 7pm tonight, so light a candle for our lovely angel babies 💗💗

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 15/10/2020 08:17

@Annny27
This day next week at 8.30 so feels like years away lol. Will have my candles at the ready for 7 looking forward to that show tonite at ten to hear the celebs stories x

Annny27 · 15/10/2020 13:03

I am thinking I am probably a bit too emotional to watxh it tbh especially when I feel my period about to start haha! @Babyghirl

So feeling even less optimistic now girls as the sperm analysis came back to us and whilst they originally said the count was high, its actually low sperm concentration (13 mil per ml when it should be 15 miles per ml)

So overall the count is okay but the concentration isn't:/

I also feel really upset as I want to speak to me sister about it but my husband understandably doesn't want me to discuss it with family or friends :( xxx
