As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

@beckyBP omg that was me yesterday so we didn’t DTD last night!! And now I’m panicking because I got my peak finally

So after 9 days of flashing faces on the CB test, yes you read that right, 9 days!!!!! I have finally got my static face on day 10, bloody cycle day 24! What a drag this has been! I’m worried now though as I didn’t DTD last night so my surge could have happened just after yesterday’s flashy face what if I’ve missed it completely? Waiting until DH wakes up so we can DTD and then will DTD tomorrow as well, will that be enough? Or the day after too? When does the TWW start?

I’m only up this early as I had a nightmare lmao but really needed to pee too so had to do the test!!

Hi Everyone! I'm new here. My husband and I are TTC our first. Came off the mini pill in late September, withdrawal bleed 29 days later which seems positive. Into my first cycle now. Excited, nervous, scared. Using Flo and will DTD every other day in the ovulation stretch. Any advice, tips or tricks? :) Also taking Seven Seas pre conception pills

@meganlea I might be wrong but I thought you ovulated 24-48 hours after the surge anyway so should be perfect timing!! The SMEP method says to DTD 3 days in a row when you get your peak so cant help to keep going at it if you can.

Welcome @bluemagicalsky it is super exciting so make sure you enjoy. I used flo on my first month but when I used opks it showed flo being inaccurate so might be worth trying some opks to get to know your cycle. Also take a look at the SMEP method.. people highly recommend it! The two girls recently pregnant here also used pre seed!

@beckyBP thank you! We DTD yesterday morning and this morning and will tomorrow morning too, do I need to do it more than that or is that when it will be 1DPO? Sorry, never done this before so not even sure when to start the first day PO!

Good luck @bluemagicalsky I use Flo and it accurately predicted the right time id be ovulating around but everyone’s is different and if I don’t conceive this month I’ll be buying the cheapies and switching apps I think.

@meganlea sounds like you're covering it! Google SMEP to learn more about it! It seems to prove successful!

Don't be sorry. It's super overwhelming. I feel like I'm still learning a lot each cycle. I think the only way to know if/when you actually ovulate is temp taking. I might be wrong. I haven't actually done than myself. Xx

DH are having our first month of "not not trying", probably for the best as I have no idea what I'm doing really thinking of ordering some ovulation tests to see if they line up with Flo.

This would be our first, so feeling very nervy/excited

Hey @upschittscreek welcome to the journey! Haha. 'Trying not trying' is actually super exciting isn't it! Is definitely recommend getting some ovulation strips just to check where you are but try not to become obsessed.

I figured whilst we're just starting out we'll just DTD a few times a week and see what happens, maybe think about stepping it up to ovulation tests in the new year. I don't wanna get too obsessed with it (which I can totally see happening )

You can't control it anyway, it's just a chance game! Healthy couples who have regular sex have a 1/4 chance in any given month. That might mean it happens right away, or not for aaaaages! Xx

You're spot on, it's best to enjoy it and have a good amount of sex than get bogged down with it just being about TTC.

@beckyBP I'm on day 14! I usually ovulate between 14-17. So just trying to DTD wirh my husband as much as we can. We've done it three days in a row so far, up to yesterday! X

I either ovulated yesterday, today or tomorrow I think so we DTD Saturday, Monday (yesterday) and hoping to tonight and tomorrow. (Also did prior but I think these are the ones that could count 🤞🏽)

Well I'm pretty glad I'm coming to the end of my 2ww cause if it was ovulation time I well & truly wouldn't be in the running for a bfp 😂😂 😴😴

I have zero energy to even dtd 😂
& to top it off my BF is going to be working in the lockdown so we're not going to have as much time to DTD as I thought 🙈

@beckyBP ahh that sounds brill!! You've definitely covered yourself. You seem to be the same as me I got my static Sunday AM DTD that same morning, Monday AM and late Tuesday PM. I'm classing today as my 1DPO......I can already see this is going to draaaaag. Going to try not think about it though, whatever happens, happens. What cycle is this for you?
