As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

Totally know what you mean @maudesid I think it's easier to talk with people who genuinely know how you feel! Hope you're screening is quick and done with.

Still no AF, BFN on a test earlier on. I'm 16dpo & would of thought a line would of shown by now? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@RLou3 currently CD7 and will probably OV around CD20 again so 13th October ish? Have not DTD yet I'm thinking about trying to DTD every other day from CD14ish but I don't know if that will actually happen! When are you hitting your fertile period?

@maudesid I'm Due to ovulate this Saturday - haven't DTD yet!! We just tried but failed miserably and turned into me crying. I'm stressing myself out so much about it - I literally suddenly got it into my head - we need to do it now - so I shouted from upstairs "we need to do it" I was laying ready 😂😂 he came up after 10 mins (ridiculous) and we started - all was fine but I really wasn't in the mood as it was so robotic - he started off fine and then wasn't hard any more (TMI) so I was fuming and started really crying out of anger! Oh my lord - I'm the devil but I just can't stand this any longer and it's only month 2!!!! It's just so much pressure on both of us. Think he feels so bad now... I feel bad for him too - but I'm just so desperate for it to hurry up and happen 😔

@RLou3 I'm due to ovulate Sunday I believe so started the fertile window yesterday. DTD once but the thought of doing it everyday 🤯😂🙈

Sorry to hear it didn't work out well for you. I thinks it's so hard to not put pressure on ourselves and our partners. Maybe put on some nice underwear and just walk past him and give him the eyes.

@RLou3 I'm so sorry you're feeling crap and that happened. Honestly I feel you I'm off work this week (own my own business and really needed a break after this year, key worker sector so have worked throughout) and although I'm switching off from work and trying to relax I am just obsessing over ttc. I am constantly googling foods, supplements, acupuncture, listening to podcasts about fertility and feeling so stressed and overwhelmed and its bloody month 2!
The main takeaway from everything is be relaxed and don't get stressed and that's the one thing I cannot do!
If it makes you feel better I'm already nervous about DTD, I don't want it to feel forced but it probably will. Doesn't help that I read that you're more likely to get pregnant from 'non baby making sex' haha can someone come and take away my internet?!

@RLou3 I’m not sure - I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I don’t know if my cycle is messed up or not. So originally it should be this Sat/Sun but I don’t even have a flashing smiley yet so it could be delayed.

I’m so sorry to hear you’re feeling that way, the pressure can get so overwhelming. I’m on cycle 3 now and have found that I’m more relaxed now than I was 2 months ago, but maybe because I don’t think there’s much more I can research now 😂 we’re actually currently on our honeymoon (just on Arran) so have been DTD a fair bit but I think it’ll be too early for that to have any affect!

@Amy259 30th now honeymoon sounds like a lovely couple of weeks for you! Arran is meant to be beautiful I've never been but it looks amazing!

I don't even feel any symptoms of AF or pregnancy. Getting a little frustrated now tho 😞

@maudesid haven't done one today but yesterday's was. I've been off the pill for a couple of years so can't put it down to that? The only thing I can put it down to is new vitamins?

So annoying tho I've not been this late for ages! & then the one time I am its whilst ttc 🙄🙈

We're cycle 4 TTC and weirdly I'm not feeling the pressure this month. I'm not even using opks. That will probably all change in the TWW 😂

Hello I hope it’s ok to message in here but just really feel like I need some help/advice and am starting to really stress out! I guess I just need a rant and don’t really have anyone to talk to about the whole TTC situation.
I have been using the clear blue advance OPK sticks since CD9 (which was the day after my AF finished) I had 3 blank circles and the CD12 - CD22 (today) I have had high fertility flashing faces 😩 yet to see a peak. Apps and my cycle are saying that I’m due AF around 10th of this month but I guess I’m just confused as to why I haven’t yet seen a peak.
Have any of you had a similar experience like this? X

@BettyM90 hey Hun, sorry to hear you're having a hard time! I haven't had that personally. Is it you're first month TTC? Have you recently come off contraception? X

It is our first month TTC so not expecting get BFP this month...I would be extremely lucky. But just confused as to why I would showing a flashing smiley so late in my cycle?
I bought one of the cheap boots OPK and it only had one line, so am really confused now! X

@beckyBP I came off birth control pill in April I think? X

@BettyM90 maybe a longer cycle this month for some reason, I came off the pill in Feb and mine are a little erratic

@rosiej95 have you used a few different test brands just to see?

@maudesid I’m hoping so! I haven’t really tracked how long my cycles normally are, I thought they were quite regular but last month was 26 days and the month before was 30 x

@maudesid yep I've tried Sainsbury's, FRER & clear blue. 😕
AF still isn't here.
I don't understand why it's not tho 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've been tracking AF for 2 years and I've never been this late before.
It's so frustrating. 🙈

@rosiej95 God how frustrating! I'm still excited for you just incase, you never know! Though I don't know how you're functioning I'd be going stir crazy, what CD are you now?

@maudesid & @beckyBP thank you! My in-laws have a wee place here so we come quite a lot but we’ve just checked into the spa here for the weekend which is lovely!

@rosiej95 how frustrating for you! What prenatals are you taking? I think they can often really delay things, so it’s maybe that?

@maudesid I'm CD 38, I'm going to take another test tomorrow using FMU tbf I've been working late & long days so that's kept my mind busy 😂

@rosiej95 yeah it sounds like it maybe could be then, if this is your first month? You could maybe stop taking them for a couple of days and see if af appears?

I’m not sure what’s going on here, I don’t even have a flashing smiley on my CB yet so my ovulation potentially could be very delayed this month.

@Amy259 that sounds glorious! I would love a spa weekend, are treatments and things going ahead with covid?

@rosiej95 I'm back to work next week after 2 weeks off and although it has been great for my mental health in terms of switching off from the business I'm kind of looking forward to going back in order to keep my mind off ttc a bit!
I actually bought some new fancy conception supplements but then reading about some of the ingredients altering your cycle I've decided to stick with my standard folic acid, omega 3 and Vit D for now as I think the stress of my cycle being more irregular than it already is would push me over the edge!
