We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Littlebee1990 this is exactly what we did this month too . I have ordered 26 tests this week 🤣 20 cheapies, 4 frer and 2 digitals. Plus I already have a one digital and 3 normal frers 🙈 I am going to do one a day until at least a week after my period was due to see progression and hopefully I can then relax a bit 😅

Littlebee1990 · 17/02/2021 18:06

@1992EM Remember your levels typically take 48 hours to double so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see a huge line progression within a day, here’s mine if that helps at all. I didn’t test between 12-15 because wanted to see progress x

@littlebee1990 thank you❤ this is reassuring as my 11dpo looks very similar . I'll do one tomorrow and then a digital on Friday when AF is due. Hopefully get a stronger frer at the weekend I think ill relax after AF date has passed . I hope anyway . Plus I am back to work next week instead of WFH so hopefully that will prevent me testing 🤣x

1992EM · 18/02/2021 05:36

@littlebee1990 Thank you for warning me about progression as I would have been panicking. There is definitely a progression on the cheapie though so that is promising.

@1992EM That’s great progression on a cheapie! I barely got a light on a cheapie until the day AF was due so that’s really positive! X

@littlebee1990 Thank you ❤ I am telling my partner today and so excited. I just need the postman to arrive . When did you contact your doctor ? I feel I want to wait until 5 weeks but don't no if that is the right thing to do . I just don't want to jinx it x

1992EM · 18/02/2021 07:18

@kalecat I missed your post . How exciting 💕. How are you keeping ? X

1992EM · 18/02/2021 07:19

@motherofdinosau I missed your exciting news , congratulations ❤ How are you keeping ? X

Littlebee1990 · 18/02/2021 07:39

@1992EM My doctors weren’t interested at all, I had to complete a self referral form online for my local hospital / midwife unit. I did this when I got past 6 weeks as I did it really early last time and then had to cancel appointments when I had the MC so didn’t want to do that again.

Please let us know your partners reaction ♥️

@littlebee1990 Thank you ❤ I am going to hold of contacting them . I need to get my b12 jag so have ordered that and will need to phone to book that appointment so will try get more information when I go . It isn't due for a month but I don't want to take any chances. Can I also ask what vitamins you take? I currently take pregnecare conception and additional folic acid and vit d. Due to my b12 that can affect folic acid so wanted to take a stronger one to rectify this .

Littlebee1990 · 18/02/2021 07:56

@1992EM Just folic acid and Vit D. I didn’t change anything diet wise either, probably just enjoy a little more chocolate now than before and switched running for walking and HiiT for yoga, that’s probably just laziness though!

@littlebee1990 that is good to know. I was dieting prior to this as a new year resolution so now stopping that but still eating healthy just not counting calories. I am hoping all goes smoothly ❤

1992EM · 18/02/2021 13:00

@littlebee1990 I have told my partner . I cried, he cried . We are both so excited but also nervous. My goal is to get past the weekend and make it to 5 weeks . My digital tests have arrived so hopefully get a positive on that tomorrow x

Littlebee1990 · 18/02/2021 13:02

@1992EM So happy for you. Totally normal! I found out at 4+3 and we was away with friends and it was soo hard! Every day felt like a week but I promise it soon goes by quick! Please keep us updated x

@littlebee1990 Thank you 💕 I am wishing my life away 🤣 all is good so far so will try relax . I have no spotting, cramps or any symptoms really so going to take that as a good sign x

Kalecat · 18/02/2021 23:16

@1992EM OMG!!! So excited for you!! I check in every once and a while hoping to see more BFPs! I can only imagine how thrilled you are 😊. The early days are so tough... I was testing daily for line progression and eventually just had to stop as it was giving me more anxiety than relief. When do you think your due date is?

I'm doing well too, thank you! I'm 21 weeks 3 days and excited to reach the next milestone of 24 weeks - that way baby is viable outside the womb. Had a bleeding scare last weekend but turned out to be a possible small kidney stone too small to be detected in ultrasound, and nothing to do with baby. Sure gave me a scare though.

1992EM · 19/02/2021 04:25

@kalecat oh wow that does sound scary . I can't believe you are 21 weeks already . Thank you ❤I am so excited but at the same time I am so scared. I took another frer this morning and you are right. It is just stressing me out as I want it to be remarkably darker. It is definitely darker than 11dpo and showed faster but just not dark enough for my satisfaction 🤣. The cheapies are actually showing better line progression at the minute. I am going to hold of doing another frer until Sunday and hopefully see a bigger difference then. It is giving me hope as they are darker than the ones I have googled. I also can't sleep so having to pee more so getting earlier every day 🙈. I will be due at the end of October I think. Tbh I am too scared to even think of that just now. My goal is to get over the weekend and officially miss my period x

Kalecat · 19/02/2021 17:07

@1992EM line progression is definitely better on the cheapies in my opinion. Here were my FRERs vs. cheapies from October. The FRER does gets darker, but not a ton. But then I became obsessed testing with cheapies so I had to stop 😂

@Kalecat thanks, mine are pretty similar . I am going to stop on Sunday and just do one the following weekend if I can hold out that long. I still need to do a digital so will do that tomorrow x

1992EM · 20/02/2021 05:51

A whole bunch of new tears today . It is in writing now and so glad to see 2-3 weeks as I am 14dpo today. Cheapies are rising nicely and haven't done a frer today so hoping it is noticeably darker tomorrow and I'll have a break from testing. 🤣🙈

@Littlebee1990 It is so strange seeing it in writing. Thank you 💕

Dinosaurus86 · 20/02/2021 20:49

@1992EM congratulations!! I’m so happy for you and it gives us hope that it can still happen even if it doesn’t right away. What cycle were you on?

I’ve just gone into cycle 12 Sad. I was really hopeful this month. I had a scan that showed the polyp was gone and had two dominant follicles, but again neither stuck. Unfortunately the scan also still showed a thin lining. I’m now starting to get the ball rolling for NHS referral.

Hi @Fran2020 - sorry for being slow to reply. I try not to obsess too much over everything (ie spend ages on here searching for answers) but I’m not always successful! The polyp was a fundal uterine polyp, apparently right where it would be best for an embryo to implant...

But the hysteroscopy to remove it was successful. It was extremely painful though! The saving grace was that it was quick.

Unfortunately thickening the lining is not a simple thing, so I’m not quite sure what my next step is right now. It can be caused by poor blood flow or low oestrogen, but mine isn’t either of those and instead seems to be the lining just not responding to the oestrogen, which apparently can happen sometimes after long term use of the pill. Some people manage to get it to thicken with large doses of oestrogen (which requires medicated cycles or IVF) but it doesn’t always work. I’m having another scan right at ovulation this month to see how things stand. I’m taking vitamin e and baby aspirin to help, which the doctor recommended.

1992EM · 20/02/2021 21:42

@dinosaurus86 Thank you ❤ this was cycle 10 . Sorry to hear about everything you have went through . I hope your referral goes quickly. Xx

Smushty14 · 22/02/2021 08:41

@1992EM Ahhhh congratulations!!! I'm so pleased for you lovely! That is awesome progression too! When is your period officially due?

@Dinosaurus86 I'm so sorry, hopefully once you get the NHS referral they will be able to help quickly ❤️

@Kalecat I must admit those first 12 weeks went so slowly but since then it's like time has sped up! I'm now 16 weeks and I think I'm starting to feel movement too which is the strangest thing!
