We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Smushty14 ahh that is amazing. Can't believe it is 16 weeks already? My period was due in Friday and would have been finished today . No spotting or anything. First day I haven't tested . Lines were more or less as dark as the control line so didn't see the point until I can get 3 + on the digital . How are you keeping? I am wishing symptoms on myself but then will regret that I am sure 🤣

Smushty14 · 22/02/2021 21:43

@1992EM I still can't believe I'm so far along either, I keep telling myself it's not real 🙈

Yay I'm so pleased that you are over that hurdle now! Yes my gosh the symptoms are awful... I lost quite a bit of weight from the nausea and sickness which sucked! But then I know so many people who had no symptoms and I'm actually a bit jealous of them! 🤣

It was probably a good thing over Christmas as I didn't eat all the chocolate haha!

1992EM · 22/02/2021 22:20

@smushty14 I hope mine goes quickly 🤣 This week has been the longest ever . Yes I am glad to get AF date out the road and see progression on the tests. I am trying to avoid testing until the weekend. It is a struggle 🙈. When did you start to get symptoms? I don't have much really. The biggest thing is my boobs are massive and I wake up at the crack of dawn. I kind of want to have morning sickness to give me confirmation 🤣 which I know I'll regret 😷 . When did you tell you family? We haven't told anyone and being back in work and unable to distance I feel I may need to tell my work sooner than I would have wanted to but I don't want to so this before telling my parents. 😬 the issue I have is another family member is also having their first baby and scan is due in a few weeks so I don't want to take away from them but at the same time I would love to have someone in real life who gets it 🙈

Smushty14 · 23/02/2021 11:38

@1992EM I started with sore boobs the day after my period was due, they were the worst! So blooming painful! Think that disappeared for a bit from 9 weeks but kept coming and going - still are which is doing my head in.

Boob growth was a big one too! Had to get a new bra around 8 weeks.

The cravings started around 5 weeks for really salty foods, nausea started at 6 weeks and then the sickness hit around 6.5 weeks

We told my mum and my partners mum at 8 weeks - Christmas Day! I had to tell my mum anyway as I was struggling to eat and from where we are bubbled, I have dinner once a week with her.

The rest of the family we told at 14 weeks and they were just awful with reactions 🤣 but that's my bitchy family for you 🙈

I told work at 14 weeks too but I'm working from home so I could keep it quiet.

Aww how far gone is your family member?

1992EM · 23/02/2021 16:34

@smushty14 Thank you my boobs are sore in the mornings. They are ok in a bra but as soon as it is off they kill me . Which is strange 🤣. They are around 10 weeks or so we found out super early though. If I am sick I will have to tell my work as I can't just leave to go to the toilet to be sick 🙈 I am just exceptionally hungry 🤣 no craving so far . Nearly 5 weeks which feels like a big milestone 🙈 1 weeks since I found out. That is a shame about your family. So lovely how you told you parents on Christmas day. I had wondered about mothers day but would only be 7 weeks. I see my mum and dad every week so will be hard to hide.

Littlebee1990 · 23/02/2021 21:02

@Smushty14 That’s flown by and I’m so glad you’re feeling better! Are you going to find out if you’re having a boy or girl? X

@1992EM In all honesty I really didn’t have any symptoms at all, I think I’m one of the lucky ones, I had a few days around 8 weeks where I felt a bit sick and tired but that was literally it, I still don’t really feel pregnant (until I go to roll over!) now at 28 weeks. So glad the period date has gone x

Kalecat · 23/02/2021 22:25

@1992EM I kept wishing for symptoms in the beginning too and they never came!! The only thing I had were sore nipples and exhaustion weeks 4-6. I never got morning sickness.
Even now I have the sore nipples and the bump of course, but generally I'm feeling good everyday! Everyone is sooo different!

1992EM · 23/02/2021 23:21

@kalecat that is amazing. My boobs are getting sorer by the day which is keeping me going just now . Week 5 tomorrow so have made it 1 week since I found out x

Fran2020 · 24/02/2021 12:55

First month after my nhs hycosy and CD23 for me. Trying to keep positive. 🤞🏼

@1992EM Congratulations!! That's amazing news! 😊

@Dinosaurus86 No problem, I've not been on MN much recently (trying not to be as obsessive as it's not good for me). That's interesting, maybe my polyp is in the best place for an embryo to implant too. But the consultant did not say that when I had my hycosy. She is booking me in for another ultrasound to see if it has gone. If it hasn't, I will need a hysteroscopy too, but I think that has quite a waiting list at the moment unfortunately. I'm glad they have removed yours and I really hope they can get your lining thickened.

DoctorBambino · 24/02/2021 13:27

@fran2020 wishing you so much luck in your first cycle post hycosy! I also had mine this cycle but AF arrived today as usual 😭 I also just found out I'm not immune to rubella so I can't ttc for the next 2 months while I get that sorted.. so much for the 3 months post hycosy improving chances for me 😔 really hope you have better luck. It honestly feels like the world is against me right now!

Fran2020 · 24/02/2021 13:47

@DoctorBambino thank you! Sorry AF has arrived for you 😔 I found out I wasn't immune to rubella last year too. I decided not to have the immunisation straight away as I thought it wouldn't work as I'd had several rubella vaccines as a child and teenager. But once I was being referred to fertility, they kind of said I needed to get it so I did. It's so frustrating that it stops you TTC for a bit although I was told i only needed to wait a month. I know what you mean, I feel it all against me too, think I'm month 21 now, how about you?

DoctorBambino · 24/02/2021 14:07

I'm on month 13 but a tube down due to an ectopic pregnancy so feeling further away than when I started! I've also had the vaccine in childhood and I think I've even actually had rubella... they said if it doesn't work this time I could still proceed with the ivf but would need to avoid working with little kids for my pregnancy. I'm an educational psychologist so not sure how I'll combat that one!

Can you remember which month you had to avoid? The fertility clinic mentioned it but I was so upset I didn't take it in. The gp didn't mention it at all.

Do you know what your next steps are?

I read so much positive stuff about increased fertility after the hycosy, I really do hope that helps you!

Fran2020 · 24/02/2021 14:28

@DoctorBambino sorry to hear about the ectopic 😔 It's crazy how the vaccine sometimes doesn't work or it can 'wear off'. That's good you will be able to proceed with IVF. Hmm yeah, I'm not sure how you'll get around that one. Have you been doing things over zoom during Covid?

I had the vaccine whilst on my period then just avoided that month. They only gave me one booster style vaccine.

My next step is probably a hysteroscopy to remove a polyp then IVF if nothing has happened in a few months. Thanks, keeping my fingers crossed! Had an HSG last year and was hopeful after that but nothing happened (that showed one tube was blocked).

Smushty14 · 25/02/2021 22:07

@Littlebee1990 Tell me about it! We heard the heartbeat yesterday and it was amazing even though we did have a little fidget who kept wiggling away from the Doppler 🤣

We don't know! We keep changing our mind on whether to find out the gender or not! So indecisive!

Nottherealslimshady · 13/03/2021 06:44

Hi you beautiful ladies! Just checking to check how you were all doing and seen there's more babies growing! So so happy for you, hope your babies are growing happy and strong.
I have everything crossed for everyone trying this month ❤

I've got 7 weeks to go now, we're having a home birth hopefully, can't wait to meet out little girl or boy.

1992EM · 13/03/2021 09:13

@nottherealslimshady oh wow that has went by fast. Are you all organised?
I am 7 + 3 today and have a scan on Monday as had spotting on Wednesday (turned out it was a one time event) I panicked though and phoned the EPU so they gave me a scan for Monday. I am hoping all is well as had no further spotting or bleeding and the nausea has stepped up a notch too.

Nottherealslimshady · 13/03/2021 09:50

@1992EM It has flown by! Completely ready, everything is done.

I'm so glad they're doing a scan and that it was only a little spotting, hope you see baby's heart beating away! Don't worry if you can't quite see it yet though as it's very early :) so happy for you x

1992EM · 13/03/2021 10:04

@nottherealslimshady thank you ❤ I am hoping it is all ok. I am glad it has flown by . I am hoping all being well that after 12 weeks it flies by too as right now it is dragging in 🤣

MyLittleOrangutan · 13/03/2021 11:16

@1992EM it felt like it was dragging for ages then my counter said "you have 53 days until your due date" and it suddenly feels like it flew by! 😂

Let us know how your scan goes :)

Kalecat · 13/03/2021 17:36

@Nottherealslimshady wow that was fast!! 7 weeks left?! Where has time gone. I'm still just 24+5, a while to go yet.
@1992EM you'll definitely see a heartbeat! I was 6+3 when I saw my little guys heart flickering away at 118 BPM 😊

Littlebee1990 · 13/03/2021 19:07

Hi ladies!

Hope all is ok

9 weeks left here, I can’t quite believe it. Nursery is done but I’ve not started washing any of his clothes or doing the hospital bag, going to tackle it Easter weekend!

@1992EM Please let us know how Monday goes, also don’t be alarmed if you’re measuring slightly behind. I ended up in EPU when I thought I was 6-7 weeks and was only 5-6 weeks.

@Nottherealslimshady that has flown by! Hope you’re ok and glad you’re ready

1992EM · 13/03/2021 19:26

@MyLittleOranguatan not long until you meet little one ❤

@littlebee1990 that is crazy . Not long now. Thanks. I am hoping I measure at least 7 weeks as I know when u got a peak etc. I am so nervous already.

@kalecat thanks ❤ hope you are well xxx

MyLittleOrangutan · 13/03/2021 22:56

@Kalecat massive congratulations, have you started getting anything ready yet?

@Littlebee1990 it's so exciting and scary now! What nursery theme have you gone for? We've gone for woodland animals :)

@1992EM I'm sure your baby's perfect, but measuring smaller can just mean implantation was later than average, not worth worrying about x

Littlebee1990 · 13/03/2021 23:02

@1992EM I knew when I had my peak too but for some reason I measured a week behind, so just don’t panic if it’s a slightly out! Mine caught up by 12 weeks! I’m sure all will he absolutely fine!

@MyLittleOrangutan We’ve gone for a safe green and black & white prints, it’s quite calming but made a playroom downstairs full of bright colours!

Nottherealslimshady · 13/03/2021 23:09

I'm running on two usernames apparently! Sorry 😂
@Littlebee1990 that sounds lovely, awesome you've got a playroom, God knows where we'll be storing all baby's toys!
