We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@dinosaurus86 I haven't heard of that but I know you can get it in lost shops so can't imagine it will do any harm and I think ill look up on this too and give it a go. Here is to a better 2021. There is still a glimmer of hope but as I have tracked since June I always spot 2 days before so think it will definitely lead to AF . Sorry to hear it hasn't been your month either. Hopefully 2021 will be the lucky one and we will get our wish. x

@Flittingaboutagain that will be such a great "milestone" to pass. A loss at 12 weeks really sucks, because the odds of loss are like 2% at that point. I'm 13 weeks today and still find myself questioning if everything is still ok... my doppler is great for reassurance.

Just on the aspirin note, I had a private Zoom fertility appointment at 6 weeks specifically to ask about low dose aspirin and he said in my case it would increase the miscarriage risk (I'd never have known this) so if you can afford a consultation I would.

I really hope 2021 is a better year all round.

I had no idea a Doppler could work at 13 weeks Kalecat. That must be so reassuring. I will treat myself if I get that far! Congratulations.

@jobsharenightmare oh I will maybe leave the aspirin then. Thanks for letting us know. NHS won't see me until we have tried for 12 months which will be May time.
@kalecat I can't believe you are 13 weeks already . That has flown by.

I didn't bother testing. Didn't spot throughout night but have been this morning and is pinker than yesterday so definitely AF coming . No point testing as I know the outcome and not going to waste a test .

@flittingaboutagain there definitely is and I will be working from home when ovulating next so should work out quite well x

@Kalecat would you recommend using a Doppler then? I know some people have struggled to find the heart beat and then panicked.

I was also thinking about taking the lower dose Asprin so that's good to know. I actually looked in asda the other day but could only see the 300mg and it's the 'baby aspirin' which is 75mg which is apparently what to take.

My fertility clinic appointment confirmation letter come in the post today, it's been booked for a while but got all the info in the letter, saying who it's with etc so obviously been googling the consultant haha. Looking forward to what he has to say, hopefully he will put us on some sort of treatment or do some further testing.

Can't believe this time last year I actually thought we might have had a baby by now LOL little did we know the trials of ttc!!

On the plus, there's been loads of bfps on this thread throughout 2020 so hopefully a few more in early 2021 for us lot that haven't been so lucky yet xx

@dogmam I hope all goes well with your appointment and hopefully closer to getting your baby. 2021 will be a better year all round ( I hope ) x

Had our 20 week scan today and the little rascal wasn’t having any of it, decided to have a party in my womb instead and have his hand over his face!! He only ever cooperates at private scans.. never NHS scans!! I’ve created a snob already 😂

Really good to hear that some of you have progress from clinics and next steps! A friend on mine got her BFP this month after 11 months of trying.. You got this ladies ❤️

@Smushty14 @Jobsharenightmare a Doppler can work as early as 8 or 9 weeks if you have a cooperative uterus! In my case, I am very tilted back towards the spine, so I was not able to pick up baby on the doppler until 11+1 when my uterus moved forward more and as baby got a bit bigger. I'm now able to find him quite easily in the same spot every time.
(I say him because bloodwork determined boy, but we're having an elective scan in January to confirm gender).
@1992EM I can't believe I'm 13 weeks either. Time really is flying, I can't wait until I can feel movement so I am less anxious throughout the day. 2021 will be your year!! 🤞🏼

@kalecat that will be amazing when you can feel movement. Thank you, I hope so too . This is the worst bit, waiting for AF to show. At least this way the worst part will be by for Christmas x

They couldn’t check everything they needed today so I’m back mid January for another scan, let’s hope my boy isn’t having another party for 1 in there!

@littlbee1990 thank you . AF hasn't shown yet and spotting has more or less stopped . So even more confused now 🙈 i haven't tested so if it hasn't shown tomorrow I will test in the morning. I can't face testing as don't want to see a negative but also want to know so I can have a drink if I am not . I ovulated early this month but always started AF on 13dpo after 2 days of spotting and it usually starts before 10 am x

Em if you test this morning, fingers crossed.

@1992EM if AF has normally started by now it could be implantation? Not everyone gets it but it could account for the spotting?

@flittingaboutagain and @smushty14 unfortunately AF arrived this morning and my cramps are horrendous so think my body was just messed up this cycle after ovulating early. Onto cycle 9 now and just going to suck it up and enjoy christmas. Got to look on the upside at least it was a shorter cycle and next month I will be from home . X

I have my 12 week scan next week, currently 11 weeks today and thankfully the morning sickness is taking a back seat 🎉

@Smushty14 Please let us know how it goes, the wait for the 12 week scan feels like a year doesn’t it! Flies by afterwards!

Hello ladies...ive been absent for a while as had to 'step away' and concentrate on not concentrating on ttc 🤣

Af arrived for me xmas day (knew she was a bitch!) and yesterday my period was due...but this happened about 20 minutes ago...
I cant believe it!!!
