Hi all, thanks for your kind words :)
Sometimes I feel fine about it and at other times it really bothers me. I guess that's part of the acceptance/healing process. If we do IVF, we'll look on it as an 'experiment' rather than pin any serious hopes to it.
@CurlyNo2 - Thanks so much for the encouragement. We'll definitely keep trying naturally, in a relaxed sense, probably until the end of next year (I'll be 40 in autumn 2021). All the doctors we've spoken to have said it's "absolutely possible", as physically there's nothing to stop it.
@Internetaddictgirl - No problem at all! My progesterone was fine on the day 21 test, at about 44. All other standard blood results fine too.
But here are the crappy numbers, which indicate low egg supply and are therefore bad news for IVF:
FSH (day 3) = Average of 16.5, based on two tests (should be below 10).
AFC (scan) = 5 antral follicles detected (they prefer to see 9 or more).
AMH = 0.9 (this can be confusing, as people get given different types of measurement - in this case, the consultant said they prefer to see between 1 and 3).
