Update from me CD20, 3DPO (I think) 🥰.. Nothing going on at the moment, will wait impatiently for the next week xx

These are the opks I've just done

@fafi Yeah my second one was negative. One was just a strip from the pound shop, and the one was a boots own one it did say can detect 4 days early but wasn't a frer. I haven't done one today no, I'm going to go buy some tests today and do one in the morning. I have read about evap lines? x

@Northernsoul90 I bought a CB OPK this month, but I am saving it for next month. I feel like those sticks are gold dust and I don't have a clue when I'd start them this month 😂
So no expertise from me!

@renna this is so wierd that ur preg tests are coming bk neg an no sign of af and ur cervix shut! Xx definitely get in touch with the drs and see what they say as this is odd for u x

@2020wish definitely speak to your manager I was shielded for 10 weeks now I’m back I don’t have any contact with patients I’m strictly admin only now until my maternity leave starts in December xx

@Northernsoul90 yeah the CB OPK reset after 48hrs. The first time you use it after that it will always show a blank circle as uses it as a baseline then it will go from there 🥰

@Doughnut100 thajk you for sharing your chart, I do have a feeling though that I am 5DPO. Not too long to wait either way. Sorry it is so confusing with your tests atm.

@Renna I agree with @MichT4 if you are worried just day that your cycles are still irregular and now you aren't ovulating you think. Hopefully they can at least get blood tests going xx

Ladies, I'm completely symptom spotting now. Normally, I can feel my cervix with no problem but today I am struggling to reach it and can just about get there. Tell me I'm being silly 😩🙈xx

Oh that's good to know thank you @VP91x hopefully that means by body has reset and I will see flashies/static soon (please not too many flashies 😂🙏🏼). I have heard that you should try to read the cb stick but I always look at it anyway? I'm sorry I can't help on cervix position I'm pretty clueless about it, I've never used it as a fertility/pregnancy marker before. Symptom spotting is the worst though I feel your pain 😫 is there anything you can do today to try and keep your mind off things? Xx

@VP91x that should have said - shouldn't try to read the cb stick not should 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Northernsoul90 yeah, the CB sticks don't read the same as the normal OPKs. I think we deciphered that one side is estrogen and one LH, but nothing conclusive.

Yeah, me either. I only noticed it because I check CM and was like where on earth is it!? 😂😂. Yeah going out for the afternoon, so that will distract me for now xx

@Northernsoul90 I knew @VP91x would come up with the goods - definitely a CB expert! She loves them 😉

@VP91x not being silly, just doing the same thing we all do. I think just try not to read into anything - obviously this can be a good thing, and I hope in a few days you'll have a lovely BFP, but CP is a troublesome one to monitor - you'll drive yourself mad checking it.
That said, I hope it stays up there 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

@MichT4 I know, I never check CP for that same reason. I just always feel it easily when checking for CM, but was nearly nowhere to be found when I did my check. I'm being ridiculous 🙈xx

You are not ridiculous in the slightest, I just don't want you to make your week go any slower. Assume nothing, keep positive and I hope the days go quickly for you xx

Hi ladies, quick question. So, I had my ERPC on Tuesday. Bleeding has been subsiding every day since - nothing on the pad and only a bit of blood when I wipe in the morning but today I’ve had some brown blood on my pad and a bit more blood when wiping. It will be exactly one week of the ERPC tomorrow. Any experiences?

@VP91x You're definitely not being ridiculous we've all done similar and at least you're being reasonable... I went through a stage of practically beating my boobs last time I was ttc to see if I had soreness 🙈😂.

@MichT4 @VP91x They are so annoyingly smug the flashies drive me insane! The taunting is the worst... I think we will all be glad when we can see the back of them for a while at least 🤞🏼 until then he will be my new best friend 😂 (or worst enemy)

@Firevie I haven't had an ERPC but did have an MVA which I think is similar and I bled on and off for 2 weeks - some days would be bright red and others brown spotting, then some barely anything at all. I think it's normal and wouldn't worry too much ❤️

@NadJade evap lines are generally squinters and that was quite a clear line in my opinion! Did the positive line show within 10 mins? Evap lines are usually when you get a negative and fish it out the bin 8 hours later and there is a miraculous line!

@Northernsoul90 thank you for coming back so quickly. I just got worried because the doctor said it would just bleed for couple of days and since it had been getting less and less and more all of a sudden today I started panicking

@Northernsoul90 no worries it's impossible to keep up with everyone on this thread! Yes I've had two AFs since mc. And I hate to think how many hours of my life I've spent staring at tests
@SmileyT I think I've read that somewhere too about hcg can be 6. I think it's unlikely I have retained products it's most likely that.

@Firevie obviously if you are concerned there's no harm in calling your doctor or EPU for advice? Just keep an eye as well maybe and if it gets heavier give them a call? Don't panic though I think it's quite common xx

Just on a quick break. Spoke to my manager and my head of team who where very supportive of coming and checking up on me and welcoming me back. Have to admit I found it very hard to hold back tears. Spoke to manger and told her and she said she will try and make the job and stress free as possible... which is a bit impossible in icu, my patient today has kept me on my feet all day. She said cause covid restrictions have lifted and they are between amber and red zone now she can’t do the shielding but if my doctor was to sign me off then that’s grand and I won’t be getting a warning of it due to the nature of the sickness that it will be: my head of team mentioned that I should ask her can she offer me an clerical position on the ward .. but doubt she can do that. So it’s really down to me to ring my doctor and ask to be signed off.. any advice?
