Update from me CD20, 3DPO (I think) 🥰.. Nothing going on at the moment, will wait impatiently for the next week xx

Anxiety is through the roof. I’ve came into work to find out from other staff members I’m the only pregnant person in!! All the rest are off shielding ... need to find a minute to speak with my manager. ESP with my history I think I need to put me and baby first

Definitely @2020wish don't take any risks, hopefully they will be supportive ❤️ I'm sure once you explain to your manager they will accommodate your needs xx

Hey sorry to jump on but I'm freaking out. So I'm due AF on Wednesday, I went to my friends house last night and poured me a little gin, I smelt it and automatically felt sick. We decided to do a pregnancy test she had two spare. One came back positive and one came back negative. Any one know why this could be? I'm going to wait till Wednesday and see what happens I think. Any info would be great Thankyou xx

@Renna sorry about your test this morning, it's so frustrating how inconsistent our bodies can be. Maybe ovulation was delayed this month - did you get a positive OPK/temp rise? Sorry I'm sure you've said before

@2020wish definitely have a chat with your boss. I'm sure they will be understanding.

@Northernsoul90 I'm so happy your body seems to have reset now. I wouldn't bother with another test - if it's that hard to see on a sensitive test, I'd say it's almost definitely going to be negative on a less sensitive one. Maybe just assume it's negative and take another in a few days just to confirm.

@NadJade Was your second one negative? Sounds like a false negative to me, especially with it being the evening and not FMU - I assume you've not taken one today? I would take one tomorrow with FMU otherwise you're just gonna be fretting! Maybe get a FRER?

Remember false positive are highly unlikely!

@NadJade what were the two tests? If one is more sensitive than the other, then that could explain it.
I would do the same as @fafi has suggested - get an early detection one for tomorrow morning, you'll get your answer then. Fingers crossed! xx

@Northernsoul90 that is exactly what my line is like. But I know these tests really well and it wasn't there before this mc. I had other tests before that always had it and it drove me mad that's why I use easy@home. Sorry to hear you're losing the plot with the phantom lines, but you're not alone!

@SmileyT yes hopefully that's it. Bit weird though, surely it should go down to where it was when my body works out there's no foetus.

@NadJade One of the tests may be more sensitive then the other? I would do another with fmu just to confirm but you can get false negatives but not false positives so looks promising. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

@2020wish I can imagine how anxious you are feeling, will you manager be available today? Or someone else failing that?

Thank you @MichT4 ☺️ yeah I think you're right a less sensitive will just tell me what I already know if I've been doing the more sensitive ones up until now! How are you? Are you still doing opks?

@Doughnut100 The tests I have been using are the one step 10miu ones, I haven't used the easy at home ones before. It's so frustrating isn't it! You could spend hours staring at tests 🥴 so have you not had af since your last mc? Sorry if you've already said x

@MichT4 I didnt temp this month and I wasnt even going to do opks as since MC I always get peak around CD12-CD14 but then I started doing opks on CD 12 just to confirm and I got no peak and gave up testing on CD20 . So was wondering if I ovulated before CD12 or maybe I ovulated after CD20 or not at all 😥 xx

@Northernsoul90 yeah I'm ok thank you (I first typed I'm opk thank you - talk about on the mind!). I haven't taken one today. I am in the office so it was too difficult, especially when I'm sure it wouldn't be an exciting one. I might stop drinking a couple of hours before I leave and do one when I get home. I plan to do one a day when I can, until maybe CD12 (optimistic given my normal cycle length) and then do a couple a day. I'm also slightly confused as to what is CD1 because I had the spotting for a week before I bled more heavily, so this month is just a bit of a tricky one to judge - I could be CD9 today or CD16.

Will you start them now? x

@MichT4 I read somewhere that CD1 is your first proper day of AF, so hopefully you are CD9 and you'll catch ovulation soon! xx

@Renna it happened that my cycle went longer than 30 days but typically after a trip. I had 27-28 cycle before MC. I had 20 day cycle in April after first Mc. I'm on 26th day of cycle, 14 dpo today. So I expeft af tomorrow. I have been testing every day since 8/9 dpo and there is nothing. So I will not test anymore.... and now just wait for evil AF. I'm ready for next cycle ! It would be so nice if you have got bfp next cycle just in time before your due date 😘

@Renna it could have been after day 20, something could have delayed it a few days. It would make sense for your longer cycle. When did you last speak to your doctor? x

@Northernsoul90 @Doughnut100 yeah I think that's why the NHS don't use the super sensitive urine tests they use 25mul and don't wait for bloods to return to 0 I think and anything under that is just negative, I read that you can have hcg of up to about 6 in your body, regardless of MC and kinda makes sense it might shift slight after your body has been through so much. Hope it all resolves itself soon for you both x

@fafi yeah I think that's what I don't want to happen, I join for 4 weeks and then have to leave, for me I'm in a good place just getting on with life and pregnancy will properly start when the pregnancy is confirmed as actually viable. But I'll definitely join you guys when I hit that stage if you'll still have me ☺️

@MichT4 tbh never really spoken to my doctor . When I went GP yo confirm I was pregnant in january I saw a nurse and when I had MC and the one appointment I've had since then at medical centre was with a nurse too 🤷‍♀️ xx

@Renna I understand if you don't want to do this, but I would be tempted to wait a couple of days, and if AF is a no show, call and just say you have been tracking your cycles and you haven't ovulated in 3 months (or whatever). I know that isn't the case, but sometimes you just have to play their games and say it's longer so they see you and take you seriously. As you haven't spoken to them, they have nothing to suggest it's any different - just do what you can to get some tests done.

@SmileyT haha no not ideal, I'm sure work will distract you from the distractions soon. Any nice lunch establishments to make me jealous today?

@MichT4 Yes I think I'm going to do something similar to you, ive been doing them sporadically for a few days and they've been going between 15 and 30 percent ish. I'm going to start properly today - I've just done a clear blue and got a circle which I'm actually happy about as that means there won't be any confusion for me if I get a peak. The one step came up at 50 percent though which is weird. It's so confusing isn't it - I said I wasn't going to use cb this time because of that and yet here I am 😂. I'm just going to try and dtd every other day to keep covered as I'm not sure what's going to happen this time.

Does anyone have any experience on cb opks? Do the test readers reset after a few days? I did one random cb opk a couple of weeks ago and got a static smiley but that was just leftover hcg picking up that I hadn't accounted for. I've just done one today (after the negative pg) and got a circle but when I've taken the stick out it has 2 strong lines. Could the monitor be confused because last time I did one the hormones were strong due to the hcg? So it has used that as a baseline and anything below won't register or do they not work like that? One step has come at 50 % according to femometer app.

*expertise on cb opks not experience - I think we all have lots of that 😂

I personally would not like to join a Facebook group with pregnancy convos at the mo. One i doubt i can stay ontop of the two groups so I would prefer to stay here for now until pregnancy progress
