@fafi I just looked back as I thought this was your first cycle post MC. What a lovely result. How soon after your MC did you get that positive OPK? You are inspiring me 🤞🏼 xx

fafi · 19/07/2020 17:50

@michT4 @doughnut100 @renna thanks 😊

Yeah this is my first cycle since MC. I've not actually had a normal period since April, they've all been losses since then!! Conceiving seems very successful for us, its just keeping hold of it. At least 1 positive!

fafi · 19/07/2020 17:53

@MichT4 I normally ovulate on CD12ish and this time it was CD18 so a little bit later! But the loss was only at 6 weeks and happened very quickly so it didn't effect my cycle too much (didn't need to wait for negative PG test etc).

MrsK21 · 19/07/2020 17:59

@fafi congratulations! I really hope this is a sticky one for you and you have a healthy 9 months ahead!

@Northernsoul90 I feel way less stressed, just taking a wee step back as I thought I was spending too much time thinking about TTC when I actually just need to let my body heal and cycle come back. It's been 7 weeks now of no AF from day 1 of bleeding.
Will you be consulting your GP or wait it out a bit longer? Hoping we both have some success soon xxx

Rb486 · 19/07/2020 18:05

@VP91x thank you 😘

Congratulations @fafi! Hope this is your 🌈 and you have a healthy 9 months! Sounds like it’s your time for sure!

SmileyT · 19/07/2020 18:07

It's nice that there are a few of us really early on maybe feeling the same @fafi @2020wish @Rebecca1992 @Dipsy77 @ManchNic really hoping for sticky beans for us all 🥰🥰🥰

VP91x · 19/07/2020 18:17

@Rebecca1992 @Renna @MrsK21 yeah I'm only 4dpo, I've only had this ever twice but prior to getting a positive OPK so, I'm wondering if maybe it just happens afterwards this cycle? Will try and DTD tonight anyway, just in case!!

@Northernsoul90 our bodies are so so annoying. I'd like a clear sign of what is bloody happening 😩

@2020wish thank you so much, god yeah those super early BFPs. Only time is going to tell what has happened I suppose. I hope my temps just go bsck up tomorrow and stay there xx

@Stayinghopeful92x from temps I think I am deffo only 4dpo, you never know these days though, haha. Fingers crossed for when you do test xx

@fafi omg, no don't feel bad!! That's amazing, massive congratulations ❤️❤️ wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy 🌈 lovely strong line xx

Thank you @Doughnut100 yes, so many changes to my cycles post-MC. Complete minefield!!

@MichT4 thank you lovely, yeah I am thinking most likely a late ovu bleed. How's the BBQ going? Xx

@fafi congrats!!! Xo

Dipsy77 · 19/07/2020 18:20

@fafi yay congratulations xx

Northernsoul90 · 19/07/2020 18:38

@VP91x It's such a minefield and I often feel like my body is purposefully trying to tease/wind me up. Possibly the bleeding was post ovulation like you say. Fingers crossed for you for this cycle 🤞🏼

@MrsK21 im really undecided what would you do? I've heard they won't do much until 8 weeks of no af... did you say you were having some tests done? Sorry if not I get confused there's a lot of us on the thread 😂. I put silly goals in my head as well which I need to try and get away from. I'd told myself I wanted to be pg before my sister has her baby in Sep as I just thought it might be quite difficult for me otherwise but I need to try and let go of those thoughts. Me too I really hope our bodies sort themselves out soon 🙏🏼 xx

Girlmum83 · 19/07/2020 18:41

Congratulations @fafi wishing you a happy healthy 9 months 🌈😊

Emsnewmum · 19/07/2020 18:44

I'm finding the second half of my tww so hard, stressing myself out today I think cos I started testing early that I've written my self of and convinced I'm not going to get a bfp.

I'm really looking forward to going back to work tomorrow as a distraction! All though I work on the baby room of a nursery so won't distract me fully. At least I wont be able to Google all day Blush.

Whish there was just a pill to take to stop thinking about it all so much!

X

Pugprincess · 19/07/2020 18:55

@fafi how do you conceive so regularly lol, what’s the secret 😅 that’s the bit that worries me cause it took me so long before, but I do think cause I’ve hardly worked since March with all the lockdowns and now I’ve got a new job for after summer hols I think il have a lot more time to look after myself and not stress my body out so I’m hoping I can get preg quicker and easier now. We was going to DTD every other day but I’m cycle day 11 now and I used to ovulate day 14 so I’m thinking maybe everyday? I will test using opk if I get my pure negative preg test. Got those easy at home tests arriving tomorrow so I can try one of those with fmu too. I did opk a couple of nights ago and was faint second line but I suspect hcg messing it up. Might go do one now to compare to the other nights as I keep them and line them up to see progression lol

Hayley19835 · 19/07/2020 19:06

@fafi congratulations! Don't feel bad we are all in this together and it's so nice to see a positive gives many of us hope xx

fafi · 19/07/2020 19:12

@MrsK21 @Rb486 @VP91x @chloedancer897 @Dipsy77 @Girlmum83 thank you 🥰

MrsK21 · 19/07/2020 19:13

@Northernsoul90 I first spoke to my GP after 6 weeks and they told me it's normal and to wait a couple more weeks, but now I'm coming up to that point I asked if they could refer me for some blood tests to check my hormone levels are as normal.
My GP referred me but only because I'm getting the tests privately. Otherwise my GP kept saying to "wait and see" which caused me so much anxiety.

If I were you I'd maybe just speak to the GP and just see what they say - doctors advice seems to vary widely and you might get more helpful advice than I did, there's no harm in asking I guess.

I know we really shouldn't pressure on ourselves with certain dates. How are you finding it with your sister being pregnant? My cousin who I'm very close to told me she's due in October, her timing of telling me was really bad (the day I started bleeding) I feel so happy for her but sad that I'm not also pg. we just have to trust that it'll happen for us soon too xxx

fafi · 19/07/2020 19:13

Thank you @Hayley19835 xx

Pugprincess · 19/07/2020 19:14

Just done another. It’s just faint like my preg tests, I think it’s the hcg. Maybe I don’t need to bother with DTD tonight? Or is it better to do everyday? Or is that not allowing sperms to replenish? I know fertility doc told us every other x

fafi · 19/07/2020 19:18

@pugprincess if it were me I'd wait but of course if you wanna because you wanna there ain't no harm. I hope you start seeing stronger OPKs soon. It should fade up again as your PG test fades out completely. I hope it's soon!!

MichT4 · 19/07/2020 19:53

@fafi I really hope this one sticks for you. I also hope I have the same successful first cycle post MC.

@VP91x the bbq was lovely thank you. It was deceptively warm outside. Now I have the Sunday blues for the week ahead, although also happy to be in the office tomorrow and suitably distracted.

How was your day? xx

2020wish · 19/07/2020 19:54

@Pugprincess I’d do it every other day, u don’t want it to become a chore. My first two months of trying I was putting so much pressure on myself and doing it every day and just seeing it as chore to get the deed done... which caused my partner to take ages to finish which caused me more stress as I was getting sore lol I did not conceive those months doing it everyday. On my 3rd month I barely tracked cause I was on night duties and only managed to DTD 3 times that whole month. That month I caught. Miscarried tho but from then I’ve adopted the every other day when we feel like it and can enjoy it then 2/3 days over my high/peak opk days. I always try to get in at least the day before or two days before I ovulate and I’ve caught 3 times doing that.

2020wish · 19/07/2020 19:56

For those with BFP. Is it normal to get round ligament pain in groin, vagina, lower abdo area? When I stand up, move or sneeze. I’m 4 weeks. It’s quite noticeable, not painful but noticeable

Lollol86 · 19/07/2020 20:01

Ladies that have done smep, it says to dtd for 3 days when you get a positive opk, would that be when I get a static smiley of the cb? I'll be using the cheapies this month too but never used them before so not sure what I'm looking for on those ones.

Pugprincess · 19/07/2020 20:02

Thanks @fafi and @2020wish. I think it’s just me being desperate to be preg again 😪 I’m so spotty at the moment, got a few big painful boil type spots, in my eyebrows, on my down below area etc. Hormones must be cray cray xx

2020wish · 19/07/2020 20:17

@Pugprincess I always break out in spots in the days leading up ovulation! U sound close

@Lollol86 yes from you get ur peak on a cheapie or static on cb
