@SmileyT I think I will test early, I just want to know and it’s a BFN which is what I’m expecting, I will get on and order some bits like cheap ovulation sticks

VP91x · 11/07/2020 19:35

@MichT4 they've been lingering between 40-60% on femometer and pre-mom so high ish!

Fertility Friend and Pre-mom both predicted ovulation on CD16 I'm on CD13 atm. Femometer just gotta mental anytime you log EWCM 😩 xx

@chloedancer897 @Baba458 I often find that the biggest symptom for me is when I have no symptoms.
I 100% get the age pressure. I'm 40 next month and my daughter is 5. Since losing Henry I so desperately want to give her another sibling, it's so hard to see her on her own when it's not how it was meant to be.

Congratulations @Rebecca1992! Great line progression xx

CasperFlamingo · 11/07/2020 19:49

@MichT4 don't feel bad for feeling resentful - perfectly natural. Had a couple of friends send me pics of their babies during MC week and I couldn't help having an irrational reaction to it (to be fair to them, I haven't told them about being pregnant or MC). A week afterwards and I have twinges of angst when friends complain about their kids... And so far none of the friends I've chosen to tell about the MC have had one, they've all gotten pregnant first time, and gone to term. So definitely makes me feel like I am doing something wrong or a bad person. Natural to beat yourself up - but not right, in the end. Best thing about this thread is knowing there are others out there who have the same feelings and experiences, and also seeing the successes of others overcoming their previous sadnesses, and there's definitely comfort in that.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow - everything crossed! xxx

MichT4 · 11/07/2020 19:57

Thank you @CasperFlamingo. And you’re right, this thread is a godsend. It’s funny you say about being resentful but then that people don’t know. I’m the same and wonder why people say or do the things they do, but most of them have no idea! xx

@VP91x femometer is terrible for that. Takes some really weird things for it to move. CD16 would be a great result, and that is a nice high OPK. I think this is going to be a good month for you xx

Banbi · 11/07/2020 20:05

Congrats @Rebecca1992

Welcome @Firevie and sorry to hear about your loss. The ladies here are a wonderful source of support and knowledge. I'm also 36 and although I know that shouldn't lead to panic, my heart and gut don't always follow my head. We took a couple of months off after MMC in March and are now back on it. Be kind to yourself.

@MichT4 I'm so sorry. You're such a consistent, caring presence on this forum and you deserve a break. Take care of yourself and don't give up hope Xx

Went for a walk today in the sunshine and bought a carpet for our spare room, which will get fitted in Sept. And now more cheesecake for dinner. Hope everyone else has managed distracting and fun things today as needed.

Baba458 · 11/07/2020 20:13

@ManchNic I'm so sorry for your loss ☹️ and it's so hard not to worry when you start nearing the 40 mark cause you know your time is running out in the baby making department.
I told myself I wasn't going to test this month and wait for a late AF but im 10dpo tomorrow and I'm itching to test 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

MichT4 · 11/07/2020 20:23

@Banbi that’s really lovely to say, thank you. Cheesecake sounds great! I’m jealous. I really want crumble and custard 😂 xx

@VP91x re dinner, how cute is this. OH bought it in and the sauce was in a weird shape. He said it was a DNA matrix in the hope ours have bound together 💕🌈

VP91x · 11/07/2020 20:33

@MichT4 oh that's so cute! 😍😍Bless him! What did he make you?

Yeah femometer is actually mental, CD16 would be such a result. I'm so twingey atm! In normal circumstances I'd expect a peak OPK xx

MichT4 · 11/07/2020 20:36

@VP91x he made homemade burgers. They were delicious. What are you having?

I reckon you might get a peak tomorrow xx

Rebecca1992 · 11/07/2020 20:36

Thank you all for your best wishes! What a great bunch of ladies you are....an absolute support tower!!

Ye made me so welcome from day one and I love being on this thread, I will probably stick around to watch yous all get your BFP, yous are an amazing bunch ❤

VP91x · 11/07/2020 20:39

@MichT4 we got chinese! I fully cleaned the kitchen earlier and didn't want to get it dirty again 😂😂

That sounds lush!! Hopefully 🤞🤞

Mommybear05 · 11/07/2020 20:44

@MichT4 hey no problem thanks for asking. I mc in March 9 weeks pregnant. It was my second pregnancy. My first was my son who has just turned 19 months. I was breastfeeding during the miscarriage (not cause of mc) but it had taken a long time to get pregnant with my second as the breastfeeding stopped my periods/ ovulation for 13 months. Since the mc I’ve stopped breastfeeding. This will be my fifth cycle since the miscarriage but what with stopping the bf a few months ago and the mc who knows what my body will do haha.

I know this spotting must be a worry for you and I really hope that things work out. As lots of other girls have said it can be normal for early pregnancy so fingers crossed. Are you trying for your first child? Xx

Banbi · 11/07/2020 20:53

@MichT4 crumble and custard would be nice! Homemade burgers sounds lush tho! And so does Chinese @VP91x Here's to Saturday night dinners! Grin

ManchNic · 11/07/2020 21:06

@Baba458 thank you. I was 38 when Henry died and just assumed we'd still be able to get pregnant and have a baby again. I've lost 2 pregnancies since and like you say even though you try not to worry about age, it's a fact that you can't ignore. It sounds dramatic but every month feels like precious time that we just don't have.

I'm really sorry I can't remember who was asking about ERPC but I had one in November and it was really fine. They were all so nice to me and it was over so quickly, and honestly I felt better almost immediately after, it was almost a relief after the trauma of having to wait for it after finding out the baby had a fatal defect. Unfortunately I had some retained tissue which no one had really explained was a possibility but which I believe is quite common, so it took a long time for my cycle to return, but the actual procedure itself was fine. I would ask if they're going to scan you as they do it, that way you have a better chance of them not leaving anything behind.

@MichT4 I've been following all your updates and I'm so sorry you're still spotting. I know it happens to loads of people who have healthy pregnancies but it's so so hard after loss, and the anxiety of the not knowing is almost harder than dealing with the loss itself. I hope you get some decisive news from your blood test tomorrow x

MichT4 · 11/07/2020 21:14

@Mommybear05 sorry to read your story. I guess with both those things, your body will probably take some time to reset. Yeah this is my first, I MC in March too, just never expected for anything to go wrong.

@ManchNic thank you lovely. Yeah you’re right, it’s not knowing that’s worse because I’m afraid to be excited. I keep saying ‘if I’m pregnant’ because I’m too worried to say I am. It’s good I’ll know tomorrow, just really hope it’s good news and I’m one of those people who has spotting.

How are you? xx

ManchNic · 11/07/2020 21:38

@MichT4 I'm ok thank you, trying but failing to not think about everything pregnancy and baby related. I'm so worried I won't get pregnant again, but equally worried that if I do something will go wrong again. I don't think there's any way not to be anxious after loss, but spotting definitely doesn't help. I hope you're managing to distract yourself somehow this evening and can get some rest x

SmileyT · 11/07/2020 21:50

@Renna hope that pup keeps you busy over the next week and like the others have said I've got everything crossed you get a surprise BFP x

@MichT4 ahh I'm glad you got out and a little bit of a distraction and I'm sure your friend didn't think you were lazy, we all need a day off every now and again. I'm half way through the first series of new girl around a 2hr nap... but yeah definitely both of us wishing for some boob soreness, OH telling me not to worry as if it's that easy 🙈 x

@VP91x actually started watching let down today it's kinda an Australian version of working moms and it's really amusing. Yes been looking at hospitals all over now which obviously just makes it even more confusing, something else to focus on at least and took the plunge and booked an early scan for 8weeks. Sounds like you had a chilled but nice day, love having the laundry done and kitchen cleaned Xx

@Mommybear05 no we aren't telling anyone, last time I didn't tell anybody before an early scan and will be the same this time I reckon. Peeing a bit more but also trying to drink more so not sure if that's the main reason. Totally get not wanting to get your hopes up, but you are doing everything right and it will happen for you, of that I'm sure x

@Lollol86 well hopefully you don't need to order anymore opks xx

MichT4 · 11/07/2020 21:52

@ManchNic I’m so infuriated with the long term impact loss has. The anxiety is unreal and unfair but so hard to switch off.
Yeah I’m binge watching New Girl and won’t be long to bed.

It will happen for you, I’m sure of it. I’m so sorry about your losses, it must be so difficult for you. But you deserve a healthy pregnancy and I really hope it happens soon xx

Lollol86 · 11/07/2020 21:56

@SmileyT thanks lovely x

Do you recommend new girl?

1990EM · 11/07/2020 22:32

@MichT4 apart from nausea and anxiety doing ok thanks. Will be glad to hit the 12 week milestone but a few weeks left till that happens!
Can't remember who kindly asked but I haven't had any early scans or booked any yet.. was on the verge of ringing up to book one this week but honestly the nausea is so bad I'm not doing well in the car at the minute and part of me doesn't want to know!! As stupid as that may sound!! I just feel like I'm currently so anxious and don't want to get any bad news and also the clinic closest to us wasn't allowing partners at the time. So I've put it off but I know scan waiting lists are long and I might not get my first NHS scan until closer to 14 weeks.. so i may well make a private appointment in the end if I haven't got a scan appointment letter sent through in the next week or two. Dont think EPU would scan unless I had worrying symptoms.

VP91x · 11/07/2020 22:44

@SmileyT ah amazing that you booked a scan - who did you go with? Yeah it does all get massively confusing. I've not seen working moms yet, but heard its good. Yeah it was good! In bed now, managed to get some 🍆💦 tonight always a plus xx

Hey ladies !!! Just marking my spot. I’m away for a long weekend so haven’t been online. I’m my tww. Congrats to the new BFP!!

@MichT4 breaks my heart your feeling like this. Fingers and toes all crossed for you tomorrow for good news!!! We are here for you! Virtual hugs XX

SmileyT · 12/07/2020 05:24

@Lollol86 If you like Friends etc you'll like new girl it's just light hearted easy watching ☺️

@VP91x I've gone with the same place I had my private scans previously; ultrasound direct, but decided to do one close to home in Edmonton. Just up watching Tangled now 🙃 yeah to be fair you've been getting through SOA and Lost Working moms would be a serious change of pace. Yes to getting the D...Your opks have been high haven't they? What is CB doing? x

@2020wish enjoy your weekend away x

@MichT4 good luck this morning, thinking of you xx

VP91x · 12/07/2020 05:45

@SmileyT ooh, I've only ever used babybond when I done a gender scan with Bels, I think it might be the same company? Used to be in the mothercare now they are somewhere else in Edmonton. If its the same company they were fab!!

Well, my chart was looking so stable until yesterday and today 😂 still flashy CB and high-ish on OPKs but neg. Been so twingey the last couple of days. How are you feeling xx
