Update on me CD12 - in FW waiting on ovulation. On Soy Iso this month and doing a (reduced) SMEP approach. 🥰

@MichT4 so I'm of Colombian parents (I was born here though) and my partner is half Irish, half German. She's got his green eyes and light hair and my olive skin. She was his twin up until she was about 1.5? Now she's me 😂😂 personality and everything.

Quite boring with Chinese, I go for chicken curry and fried rice as standard. Sometimes push the boat out with crispy chilli beef, chicken balls and chow mein. What about you?

Just did my 8pm OPK, pretty much identical if not marginally lighter. I'm getting myself a drink and will resume tomorrow with a late morning one to see what's happening. I suspect I am not ovulating so soon, but stranger things have happened.
Did you do any today? xx

@MichT4 haha yeah she's a cutie (I'm biased though! 🥰)

Ooh nice, yeah I normally get chicken balls, crispy chilli chicken, and special fried rice. So bad but so yum! Especially on the days you feel a bit crap.

Yeah, hopefully you get a clearer picture. You might find they dip then give you a proper peak. I done one earlier it read at 41% on fem. The app hates me anyway lol xx

@VP91x yeah I've just got to keep checking it I guess. I have watery CM now so I think I might struggle to keep up.
Love and hate with these apps. I only like them when they tell me what I want to hear 😂 xx

@MichT4 also hopefully your temps help you piece everything together, as you said earlier though it's going to be a frustrating cycle where you won't know whether to trust what opks etc are telling you. Xx

@VP91x sorry for such a late reply again lol! Last day of school for the summer - always a little crazy!! Dog training went really well! It was the class I go to with Bella - and she was a dream - which is bloody amazing as she has been a right cowbag recently, not doing any of the exercises properly (even thiugh she has passed her gold standard 🙄) the class were like, omg she’s amazing!! We haven’t been going to that class long so they don’t know what Bella can actually do - I had to explain that it won’t last 😂 I hadn’t thought about going to the GP about the spotting to be honest - that’s a good shout! xx

@MrsK21 I definitely feel your worries too - it’s hard not to as we get older, but I have to stop myself from heading down that slippery slope as I’m a huge overthinker! I’m currently in 6th cycle post mc - having had my mc at 8.5 weeks (but baby hadn’t grown since 5.5 weeks) - I’m trying really hard to stay super positive! xx

@MichT4 some time away might be nice!! Although having just moved in to our new place a we are still revelling in dtd with no one else in the house and having a bedroom door to shut if we wanted to 😂 I’m feeling similar to you this month - I think I am going to step away from all the supplements etc - I fell pg last time just doing bbt, so am going to try and relieve some pressure. I wonder partly if trying to remember to drink all the right juices and take all the extra bits and bobs is stressing me out underneath it all! xx

@chloedancer897 sorry - this is a response to something you wrote ages ago I think - but my periods have completely changed since mc! I now spot for 4days before, and in my tww I swear I get every symptom I used to have when pregnant! So much so that I actually don’t even listen to them now. I know that isn’t helpful, but just wanted to let you know I have had the same where I have been sure from all the symptoms that I would get a bfp then suddenly I’m spotting and af is due! xx

Weirdly too - it’s been a tough day today! I was due on Oct 4th before having the mc, but as a teacher, my head wouldn’t have had me back in school in Sept (as I’d probably have been back for 2/3 weeks tops!) so I should have been having my last day of school for a long time! Instead I’m on cd2 of 6th cycle post mc - I definitely cracked open the prosecco this eve!!!

@Bellabubble I'm so reassured to hear it's not me! My period comes on time but I spot the day before now which isn't normal for me and the symptoms! I'm completely ignoring them now. In fact, I think the symptoms are a sign that I'm not so maybe it'll give me the heads up instead of giving me false hope. It must be extra hormones or something

Everyone's Friday night takeouts sound so lush!
My OH and I have decided to brave the outdoors and try and go out for a meal- first one since restaurants have been open so will see how it goes. Already feels a nice pick me up just to get out x

@Bellabubble I agree, I think then I'm more disheartened because I'm taking so much stuff that surely it should just happen. My first PG I was doing nothing at all, I'd like a bit of that stress free feeling back

@VP91x yeah this month will be experimental. Will keep OPK ing, DTD, tracking temps... hopefully I just think I've got a long wait but it's because it's been lucky and I find out I'm 8 weeks 😂😂 dreaming now.....

Hello ladies, I’ve just spent a week in Cornwall and it was so lovely. There is no way I can catch up on this thread. What’s been going on with everyone? I did pack the opks- then last min I decided to take them out. I think it was a good decision. I can imagine it’s really hard to keep up with all the time. Xx

@MichT4 hope you enjoyed the Chinese, I'm a special fried rice kinda gal myself 🤤 and yeah a lot of people don't like the app but I like the fact you can flick in and out of responding and not lose your message and no pages to scroll across but never really gave web version a go. Interesting about your opks? Were they strong early on last month, sorry can't remember. What are you up to today? x

@VP91x ahh 2.5 love that age, still want cuddles and are super cute but way more chatty then a 1yo 🥰 your temp rise is beautiful and definitely ovulated. This month if I didn't mark one as abnormal I didn't get a cover line, apps are just computers they can't understand us women properly 😤

@Bellabubble Sorry it was a tough day yesterday, it's strange when you think about the things you would've been doing but does this mean that you are off for the summer now? If so enjoy the sunshine and a break x

I'm all good thanks, actually feeling quite positive and just focussing on my mini-milestones, think I'm going to take a final test tomorrow/ Monday and then that will be it and I'll just have to trust my body x

@SmileyT I'd love to hold out to 12dpo, but realistically I won't 😂. I'll try and wait to 10dpo which is next Saturday. My last LP I was able to track was 11 days so I wonder if it will have changed with the soy. Let's see 🤞.

Are you going to do a weeks digi one? Yes I think that's a great idea. We have to trust our bodies❤️ I'm sure your little bean is super snuggled in there xx

@SmileyT they were quite high a few days before my peak, but then I had that false peak with no temp rise so think it was a failed attempt and then I got a second peak a few days after. The second peak was much darker, I think the first was just high. So maybe this is normal for a few days, will just have to see.
As I've said, I'm not expecting anything either way this month, will just see it out and not-so-secretly hope AF never comes because of extreme luck!

You should feel positive, you have no reason not to. It's exciting and you should enjoy every moment. It's sad because I can't imagine how to just enjoy it now, but if it happens again I'm going to try so hard to find a way to.

No plans today, have OH's parents over tomorrow so I have an actual reason to sort out the chaos that is this house. So nothing exciting. You?

@VP91x why must these apps always keep us waiting? I'm sure you'll get continued high tens now and it'll register it in a day or two.

Morning ladies. How will I know when you do the new thread? Do you post the link on this thread?

Just done another test with fmu. It’s so so faint now that if you didn’t study it you would say negative. I think in a couple more days it will be that stark white. Brown seems ok now, had a couple of caramel coloured spots yesterday so assuming it’s tiny bits mixed with cm. hopefully will be clear today so we can DTD from tonight lol. Taking mum home soon and be nice to have some 1-1 time with DH. Not been intimate in about 3 weeks I think 💭 x

@SmileyT @VP91x @MichT4 @fafi yeah it was exactly what we needed after all the goings on this year. Cornwall is sooo lovely, so picturesque. I have never done OPKs before as last time I fell unexpectedly. Not sure if they’re too much work for me. Maybe I’ll try temping instead. I haven’t done them for a week or so.. and this morning got another blank circle on clear blue. The flow app predicted my fertile week to be last week so I’m hoping that was right. Lol! I guess you just worry that you don’t ovulate after m/c don’t you! This is my first proper cycle since m/c. I’m on CD19 now, but not sure how long the cycles will be. Maybe I’m in my first ever TWW. Predicted ovulation was Thursday 16th.

@Hayleylou89 I did! Line is stronger on clear blue and the pink dye cheapies are now showing! They have never showed for any of my other pregnancies and where stark white yesterday. I’m so nervous and so happy. This baby will be born on my daughters birthday roughly and that would just be amazing for her as a gift. Feeling sick also... and so tired. Oh I just hope it progresses. I’m so nervous. 10dpo today
