Update on me CD12 - in FW waiting on ovulation. On Soy Iso this month and doing a (reduced) SMEP approach. 🥰

@MrsK21 sorry yes, will change it now and keep it as TBC for you on a date. They aren't set in stone anyway 🥰

Yeah BBT and bloods etc are the only way to confirm you've definitely ovulated. I got a peak OPK and digi that month and didn't actually ovulate. Crazy. Xx

@MrsK21 Yes I think you are right with that, I ordered one too although I've been a bit rubbish with it and keep forgetting to take it (just trying to get a baseline atm so I know what my usual bbt is).

No worries @VP91x ! I think I'm getting pre POAS anxiety as next week gets closer 😅 think you asked me about weekend plans on the last thread - just seeing some family who I've not seen since before lockdown which will be nice.

I’m having a serious down day as I’m on day 3 of flashing smiley (cd11) but cheapie opks are completely negative. Feel like ov isn’t going to happen this month

@MrsK21 @Northernsoul90 I much prefer BBT to OPKs! I keep my thermometer next to mine next to my alarm clock and water and do it as soon as I wake up, still laid down. You'll soon get into the habit but I do love a graph! (I am a marketing analyst haha!).

I have tried several apps and prefer Fertility Friend for BBT, it's not as pretty as Flow and others but the charts are much better!

@VP91x grr... hate when you set up the thread because on the app it doesn't like to show me your name on my drop down list 😤 in other news I just cried at my desk seeing my name on a BFP list 😭 I'm all good so ready to finish work for the weekend. How are you my lovely? Did you pick the bunnies 🐰?

@Diorissimo1985 don't give up on ovulation on day 11 still plenty of time for it to peak, your oestrogen is up and it could happen tonight or over the weekend xx

Hi ladies - ta for the new thread. Lovely to see the new BFPs and good luck to those testing in the next few days.

Looking for some advice, please. I'm assuming we're all down for CM chat on this thread, but here's your TMI warning

Suspect I'm 9dpo (regular cycle returned after MMC in March and tried out some new dodge Amazon OPKs this month). I've had bloody CM nearly every day the past week and spotting the last 3 days. Cramping (lower back) and twinges (front-mid) today and yesterday. Stronger today + headache and intermittent nausea. Am I having a CP? Do I just wait and see if symptoms subside and AF arrives next Weds, and call the GP then if I'm still funky? I don't have any FRERs so wasn't going to test until next week. I know you're not doctors, but any thoughts?

Pretty miserable, but at least we have cheesecake in the fridge

@VP91x is a rype of hormonal therapy drug used to help to conceive by stimulating the ovary to produce more follicles

@Diorissimo1985 Don't worry about 3 days of flashies I have had cycles when I had about 8 before getting a static so there is still time! Xx

@MrsK21 Well I think you have to get an average...I'm not 100 percent but I'm trying to get used to using it as well so thought I'd start. @fafi Thanks! Do you know if you need to get a baseline of your bbt like an average temp prior to starting during your fertile window? Xx

@Diorissimo1985 I agree with the ladies, try not to be down about 3 days. I haven’t used them but I imagine that’s quite normal. It can happen so quickly so stick with it.

@SmileyT yeah I feel ok actually. Slightly down about the unwelcome return of the spotting, but as I said there’s nothing I can do. So I’ll just impatiently wait for Sunday. Not often I wish weekends away. I love the finish work on Friday feeling. Any plans this weekend?

@Banbi I don’t think there’s ever tmi here. I don’t have any answers sadly. I think if it’s been since 2DPO then it’s unlikely to be a CP. Annoyingly I think this is another waiting game, as are so many in this journey, and just see how it develops over the coming days and when AF is due.
Plus, winning on the cheesecake 🥳

@northernsoul90 Fertility Friend actually worked out my baseline automatically yesterday at 3DPO - see attached.

Its my first cycle using this app, used Flow and Ovia previously and they just don't compare when it comes to the chart data. Like, I didn't even know you need 3 days of temp increases following ovulation for it to detect ovulation occurred until yesterday after tracking BBT since February!

@Banbi I can’t help you on that cp, I would personally go and get an early pregnancy test to see what the outcome is.

No, massive plans! Will go for walks and cuddle in with the rabbits. She has!! She dropped her ice cream in excitement. Won't stop looking at them and has already demanded food so had to explain to her that they eat hay mostly not like the cat that needs the pouches. Xx

I'm doing okay, my candle has been burning all day so it's given downstsirs such a lovely smell which is comforting, weirdly. Now bella and the bunnies are here they are keeping me busy. Yes I got to pick them, they are so fluffy 😍😍. What have you got planned for the weekend x

@VP91x he’s fine, seems unphased. I think he just gets on with it until he has to deal with something. He feels helpless when I’m worrying or something so I do try to not go on too much. He’s feeling positive but I’m sure there’s more to it, he just doesn’t really talk about it.

Yeah we might go to the coast tomorrow for a walk. Definitely need to do something that’s for sure.

Oh that is super cute about the ice cream. I used to love watching my guinea pigs eat long blades of grass, the little munching as the grass got shorter 🐰🐰

Marking so I can find thread too. Still nothing after taking the medical management Wednesday. Rang the EPU and they won’t see me until next Wednesday as I have to wait a week before taking another lot of medication- they didn’t mention this to me before taking them as I would have definitely gone for surgical 🙄

Hi @Banbi I don't have any experience personally with CP but from my almost obsessive reading I understand that it doesn't generally cause spotting and in most situations would be a faint line on an early detection test and then AF arriving as normal. Could you just be pregnant with those symptoms? 🤞

@Northernsoul90 I'm really good thanks, I'm feeling really positive which is strange but I'll take it for now. So just here to be cheerleaders for you all now as this thread has been so instrumental in keeping me sane ☺️

@MichT4 we have a 1yr olds birthday party on Sunday but apart from that not much, going to try and go for more walks as need to get a bit more active. They do say that the internal scan can aggregate the cervix so makes sense any loose old blood would come out, is it still brown? xx

@BabyNR1 I get pains around my ovaries from before ovulation and through my TWW it's normal for me, have you never had them before? xx
