Update on me CD12 - in FW waiting on ovulation. On Soy Iso this month and doing a (reduced) SMEP approach. 🥰

@smileyT @1990EM thank you for sharing your boob stories. Mine have just been so sore every day. It has varied through the day but today they just don’t seem it at all, or heavy. I just want some sign that things could be ok, but right now it’s like everything is pointing in one direction.
@1990EM it’s reassuring to know you can spot throughout, though gosh I think it would do something terrible to my mental state if it didn’t stop. It’s one of those things that you’d never be sure if it was still ok, just have to trust that it was.

How are you other than the nausea @1990EM. Any scans booked?

I really hope tomorrow I am proven wrong and I have to come on and tell you all I was being dramatic 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@nothernsoul90 I'm so sorry you're still getting faint positives, I was too and had blood tests almost 5 weeks after the MVA ahoeing hcg was still at 34 the first time then 24 when tested again after 48 hours. Coincidentally I started spotting the day of the first blood test (4 weeks and 6 day after the MVA) and continued to spot for 2 weeks, losing a large POC about a week into the spotting with a hush of fresh blood. After that my test was completely negative.

They even scanned me on the day of the first blood test and could see nothing, so not sure if the POC was just womb lining, but it was coincidental that after that the test went fully negative. It's such a mind f*ck!

I've ovulated on CD17 this cycle when counting the first day of spotting as CD1, so hopefully you will get your period soon.

@VP91x the guineas are great pets - I think it’s just like other animals and depends a lot on their personalities - but these boys are pretty chilled!! Rolo (chocolate brown one) likes to sit on your lap, but Ned will try and go off on an adventure! Rupert the bun is less keen on human touch (not in an aggressive way - just in an ocd “omg you touched me” kinda way!) I love animals - I want another dog to keep Bella company, and I’d love a fluffy cat too!!

@SmileyT you’re so right - they are cheeky little buggers these boys 😂 They start squeaking any time a packet rustles as they think its food! They were very cute when I moved though - they were at my mums for a bit longer and whenever I went back home to get more stuff, they would squeak in excitement at my voice 😊

@Northernsoul90 thank you! I adopted Ned from the Pets at Home adoption part - because no one wanted him, all the siblings got bought but he was left :(

@MichT4 I have everything crossed for you that it is good news! I have had friends that have spotted all the way through pregnancy and some even had red fresh blood and still had healthy bubbas at the end of the 9mths - so I’m sending all my positive thoughts your way!!

@Lollol86 I think everyone gets the urge to test during the 2nd week of TWW but it's down to how it's going to make you feel. I quite liked testing at 12dpo and getting the answer before AF turned up but some people prefer just to wait... I say just do whatever makes you happy x

@Rebecca1992 congrats on the lines and I don't know much about twins, but with twins on both sides I'd say it's got to up your odds. I think the line progression looks good for one day👌🏾 x

@MichT4 hope you've had as nice a day as possible with other half... and I totally understand wanting to feel something, I've been squeezing my boobs all day trying to get them to hurt again 🙈what time are you in for bloods tomorrow? xx

@HE88 I'm okay I stopped using opks like CD20 so didnt see anything between CD12 to CD20 other than some flashing smileys like CD15 to CD20.
So either missed the peak or didnt ovulate 😓 found it a tough cycle! Especially as sept is nearing with only couple more cycles before my due date of sept.
So just waiting to see if and when AF arrives due like next friday xx

@Renna I really hope you have ovulated and have just missed your peak, keeping everything crossed for you.
I'm feeling good, feel quite positive but not really sure why think it might just be because I'm not overthinking everything this cycle.
I know how you feel about September due date nearing I feel the same and keep saying I want to be pregnant by then. Xx

@littletandme Thank you for sharing that! It makes me feel a little more hopeful about my body getting back to normal. It really does get to you after a while you just want the whole thing over with. I went for bloods last week and it was at 102 and then this week it had reduced to 34 so I'm hoping that continues and it's gone by next week. It will be 5 weeks since I had the mva on Monday. I wonder if I have POC left maybe - I had a scan last week and she couldn't see anything but could be part of the lining as you said. I'm not in for any more bloods she just said to contact again if I'm still getting positives after another 2 weeks 🥴 so I'm really hoping the numbers continue to come down rapidly. I haven't had any spotting or bleeding yet - I bled for around 2 weeks in total after the mva so that stopped 3 weeks ago now xx

Thank you @Bellabubble. I know it happens to a lot of people, but it’s so hard not to assume the worse. Never thought I’d be saying I hope I’m one of the ones that spots during pregnancy!

@SmileyT not just me feeling myself up then? They’ve been sore and so veiny, still a bit veiny looking but I just want the damn soreness.
They are at 9.30 tomorrow. She said I’d get the results much later but last time they called me about an hour or 2 later

Had a lovely day, walked along a canal and had a non alcoholic beer in a pub garden. A nice distraction for a while. A friend came to train in our garage this morning and wanted me to train with her but I couldn’t bring myself to, kept welling up. I didn’t tell her so she just probably thinks I’m really lazy. It’s just so consuming without distractions.

@MrsK21 that sounds so so horrific! Did you put a complaint in? I hate hearing stories like these, it's awful and not okay. I would never go back to that hospital either if I had that experience😩

@Rebecca1992 massive congratulations those are amazing strong lines for 8/9dpo. I have heard the theory about higher HCG for twins early on but HCG brackets vary so much so not completely sure!

@1990EM I think it is completely normal to feel anxious and not like you can completely relax/bond yet especially with everything that has happened but slowly you will be okay ❤️

@Bellabubble oh look at his ears so so cute. I love the fur babies have such distinct personalities I find it so interesting. Hopefully our dog settles in with them okay too!

@Renna hopefully you just missed your peak! If you started later than usual with the CB it may not have picked up the surge when it normally does. I can understand how frustrated you must be though. Everything crossed for you xx

@Northernsoul90 thank you, and thank you @VP91x. It has been a tough week, and I know it will be ok either way. No point thinking too much about the ifs yet, but the strength can only go so far sometimes. Like this week, I’ve totally run out of it. OH just showed me his friends gender reveal and I just don’t know why everyone else seems to find it all so easy. I know that’s not entirely true of course and more people have things happen we don’t know, but it just looks like people breeze through it.
Yep, on the sofa now with new girl on again, OH making dinner again so a relaxed one for me.

@SmileyT I’m doing good thanks just keeping on top of the house and things. Hubby doing overtime. Just waiting for fertile window. It starts next Saturday and he breaks up the weekend for two weeks off so we have plenty of time to dtd during fertile window. Then I will also be trying the clear blue sticks- will begin testing at cd10 and then there’s the fertility lubricant stuff. So got every chance. I’m trying not to build my hopes up but I keep thinking testing week will be our five year wedding anniversary this time. But he is rightly telling me not to get my hopes up.

How are you? You feeling the need to pee all the time haha. Are you going to tell anyone about the pregnancy xxx

Sounds lovely - hope it is something yum! Day was fine spent it doing laundry and with the rabbits/potting around in the garden. Went to my parents this afternoon to pick up some plants too. Got back recently, going to put LO to bed and then get some dinner. Ovary area is feeling super twingey again xx

@Mommybear05 thank you so much. It’s tough isn’t it, just feels unfair that anyone has to have a hard time to conceive and carry to term. I know they say it’s common, but seems like it’s common for the same people. I don’t like resenting other people but every now and again on a low day, I just can’t help it.
But anyway, not long to wait now.

Great timing with your fertile window and your hubby’s leave. It’ll be the best time off he’s had!
I know what you mean about getting hopes up but I also think it helps the TTC journey to be positive about each months chances. It will happen for you xx
