@MichT4 sending you all the love and best wishes. Have everything crossed for you. It's the turbulance in emotions that really isn't easy to deal with when this stuff happens, but this thread and all the lovely folks on it are here for you. So don't feel useless - it's not your fault AT ALL. We have got your back xxx

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 13:57

Hey all, need some advice please!

I'm 8DPO by app but I think I'm 8DPO because I'm sure I ovulated the same day as I got my peak OPK. Anyway, I'm so so short of breath now doing normal things. I was doing laundry and I've had to sit down because it's making me feel dizzy. I have asthma but it doesn't feel like that kind of breathlessness. It feels different? I've had it for 2 days now but I was talking on the phone with DH earlier and he thought I was running I was so breathless! Anyone else had this before? I'm thinking if I get BFN this month I'm going to have to see doctors about it.

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 13:57

*i think I'm 9DPO. Jeez my head is all over the place!

MrsK21 · 11/07/2020 14:05

@smileyT the main issue I had with Whipps Cross was the distinct lack of "care" that I experienced. I was there every 2 days for bloods to check my hcg levels and every visit I was made to feel like an inconvenience (nurses huffing at me when I cried and told to "man up" when I said one of the needles was hurting me after being jabbed about 5 times in the same spot. Also very cruelly being told "you do know the pregnancy is non viable" by the consultant when no I didn't know). I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone, makes me so sad thinking about it 😞
I'm praying your pregnancy progresses smoothly so all these horrid experiences can be a distant memory x

Baba458 · 11/07/2020 15:01

@chloedancer897 I'm 9dpo too and I also suffer with a touch of asthma. I'm okay today but 2 days ago I had the same thing. It woke me in the night and I needed my inhaler and again through that day I needed it at least 4 times which is very unusual for me! Are we thinking this is a sign? Or maybe the weather lol?

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 15:04

@Baba458 I'm hoping it's a sign! Lol. I wouldn't even say I need my inhaler, it doesn't feel that way. Just feels like I can't take big breaths? And then it makes me feel a bit dizzy.

Of course I'm symptom spotting like mad even though I promised myself I wouldn't this month as I had myself convinced last month!

SmileyT · 11/07/2020 15:08

@fafi I know it's crazy time stands still when ttc, I know it's not as bad as the TWW and I'm so grateful for my BFP but also so anxious waiting until I have my early scan in 4weeks 🤞

@chloedancer897 ooh I think this is a great sign shortness of breath is definitely a symptom of early pregnant 🤞when will you test next week? x

@MrsK21 so horrible you were treated that way, my friend gave birth at Whipps cross in 2018 and she did say that she wouldn't recommend it either so will take it off the list x

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 15:10

@SmileyT fx. Im really ready to give up TTC at this point. It's all too much. So I figure if this isn't it. I'm just not going to try anymore.

I was going to wait until the day AF is due which is 17th but I have 2FRER in the cupboard so I might try on 11DPO. When did you test?

1990EM · 11/07/2020 15:18

@MichT4 aw i just wish i could give you a big hug. Dont ever apologise for how you're feeling on here. I know this maybe doesn't mean much but I only had sore boobs for about 24 hours and that was just a few days after my bfp. Also I had a friend who spotted her entire first trimester and everything was fine though it stressed her to the max. She ended up finding out she was having twins! Don't know if that was related! I know none of us have any guarantees that things will work out ok but I hope and pray that this is just a blip for you and that this pregnancy will be perfect in every other way❤ don't feel useless in any shape or form. You have handled all of the stress so well these past couple months and have kept us all going too.

1990EM · 11/07/2020 15:23

@Firevie so sorry to hear of all you've been going through. I didn't realise anything was wrong with my previous pregnancy until I started bleeding at nearly 10w. It was traumatic and painful but I know I was so fortunate not to have to go into hospital. it is just so differemt for everyone but I got a negative pregnancy test just over 2 weeks later and ovulated just a couple of days after that. Will be thinking of you.x

Baba458 · 11/07/2020 15:23

@chloedancer897 okay maybe mine was the weather lol. Yours definitely sounds more like a sign 🤞. I'm seriously ready to give up. We've been trying for two years , actively trying since January with no luck at all. My AF is due 17th also 🙈 but I'm not holding any hopes this month as I've had no signs at all x x

1990EM · 11/07/2020 15:30

@VP91x I'm doing ok thanks, nausea really only hit me this week (I'm around 8w now) feel constantly sick but weirdly grateful for that one pregnancy symptom because i have had very little else. Still doesn't feel real tbh and I'm a bit worried that because I'm still grieving my last pregnancy that I'll not bond with this one as well. Even though I'm super grateful it happened! Really mixed emotions. There's no right or wrong way to navigate TTC and pregnancy after MC I think. It's difficult no matter what. Love reading here because it reassures me to see how many are in the same position.
Hope you're day has turned out to be really lovely 💛

SmileyT · 11/07/2020 15:35

@chloedancer897 well I'm on the fence about exactly when I ovulated but I tested 13 days after peak opk and static smiley face so I think 13dpo (but could've been 11dpo 🤔) Really hope this is your month and you don't have to consider giving up ttc 🤞 🤞🤞I reckon 11 or 12dpo is a good time to test with a FRER to get a clear line xx

@1990EM glad you are doing well lovely x

Lollol86 · 11/07/2020 15:42

Does everyone test early? I’m 7days past ovulation. In my head i I was thinking I will definitely wait until next Saturday but I’ve just got home from my week away in Devon and there waiting for me on my door step were my FRER and CB tests I ordered 🙈😂😂

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 15:42

@Baba458 I'm the same. Over 2 1/2 years trying here. I'm 35 now and my other two are 12 and 7. Had my MC in May so I'm just done with it all. It's taken over my life. I literally live week to week now taking tests and wishing away days until I can test again. It's no life. I love my kids so dearly but I desperately wanted a sibling for them and they want it too. It's just heartbreaking.

@Baba458 tbh I'm probably overthinking it. I didn't have ANY symptoms with my other pregnancies at all. And last month I had every symptom in the book but AF came as normal. I sometimes think lack of symptoms are more of a predictor than symptoms!

Baba458 · 11/07/2020 15:50

@chloedancer897 oh wow I'm literally in the same situation but I'm 40! (Just)
I have two children 13 & 12 and I really wanted one more. I've been with my partner for 5 years and we've been trying for 2 years. Your right it does take over your life! I've tried everything to help .... eat healthy, exercise, take vitamins, track everything....... I just feel like I'm failing my partner because he doesn't have any children of his own, and he's brilliant with mine and although I know this could be down to either of us, I just blame myself!

Mommybear05 · 11/07/2020 16:01

Hello everyone. Just joining the thread hope you are all ok xx

Rebecca1992 · 11/07/2020 16:04

@MichT4 sending you much love ❤ stay positive!!

Rebecca1992 · 11/07/2020 16:08

Hi ladies,

So I'm 9dpo today and of course I was trying to get out until tomorrow before testing but that didnt happen, as I knew it wouldn't!! So I took 2x yesterday, 1x FRER Am and Clear Blue rapid detection PM.

I wasn't expecting anything on them! Today I done the very same! The jump in strength is quite good I think! Should I get excited or stay on the precautionary side giving what happened last month??

Also I am a twin, with twins on mine and OH side, would a good strength this early be anything to consider a multiple pregnancy, has anyone any experiences with that??

chloedancer897 · 11/07/2020 16:11

@Baba458 it's so easy to blame yourself. I know I do. But don't think it's you. It's the stress of TTC under time pressure due to age. That's what I think my issue is

Mommybear05 · 11/07/2020 16:18

@Rebecca1992 congratulations. I can definitely see very good progression there! Not too sure about the twin thing! Xxx

HE88 · 11/07/2020 16:32

Congratulations @Rebecca1992 I can see the lines on all tests. Xx

@Renna how are you doing? Did you continue using the opks? Xx

Lollol86 · 11/07/2020 16:44

@Rebecca1992 definitely strong lines there congratulations. No idea about the twins side of it I’m afraid. How long have you been ttc since your mc?

Baba458 · 11/07/2020 16:47

@Rebecca1992 congratulations 🙌
