Update on me CD12 - in FW waiting on ovulation. On Soy Iso this month and doing a (reduced) SMEP approach. 🥰

@VP91x I'm so glad your hair has stopped falling too and you've managed to treat yourself at the salon. Amazing what a bit of pampering can do!

@Northernsoul90 I'm lucky I managed to get this referral, normally they're so reluctant to do anything but I'm fortunate to have private cover so hopefully can get seen soon-ish. I'm feeling so anxious because I have no control over anything my body is doing/not doing. I'm a classic Type A personality and the not knowing and lack of control is killing me.
How are you getting on with the OPKs? I waited the 10 mins to read the One Step ones as the colour continued developing over the 10 mins. I never got a peak on them though but the instructions did say a peak will show within a couple of minutes xx

@chloedancer897 I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time of it. I won't pretend to know what you are going through after trying for so long, I can only imagine the frustration you must be feeling. My OH keeps trying to remind me of all the other good things we have in our life and I'm trying to focus on the positives which has been helping me get through some of my sadder times. I really hope you get some update from the IVF clinic soon and you can start that journey xxx

Thank you everyone. You're all being so kind and helpful. And even just vocalising my feelings helps because I do feel quite alienated with my problems. My parents are both gone and I don't have any sisters so I find it hard to chat to people about it.

I think I will try to contact someone about acupuncture. I had contacted someone pre-Covid so I'll follow that up.

Thanks again everyone. I have had several cries today and even a desperate moment of prying open the tests in the hope that I saw a hint of a line but no such luck. Fx to everyone else trying this cycle. I really hope to see some BFPs or at least peaks on the OPKs to keep me going x

@MrsK21 definitely has made a difference! Had a glass of wine with my carvery too, that will seal the deal for making sure today is actually ovulation day, right? 🤔 Xx

@VP91x new hair sounds fabulous! And lovely you booked a lunch - always nice to go somewhere with a new do!

@MrsK21 excellent news about the referral. It’s such a relief isn’t it when you know something is being done. It’s an instant lift I think.

@chloedancer897 no need to thank me, we have all been through or are going through tough times. You’ve all been wonderful to me and I want to always try and do the same.
Definitely get some things booked for the next few weeks, and I think maybe speaking to your doctor will help and understand if there’s anything they can do for you. We are always here though xx

Just done another preg test and there’s still a faint second line but I think it’s a bit fainter than yesterday. Try again tomorrow...

@VP91x I’m ok - limping towards the end of term!! Still spotting - only when wiping, and literally like 2 spots on a pant liner. So frustrating - normally it has got a bit heavier bu now, but it’s annoying as I’m sort of just waiting for af to come now. Poor oh keeps asking me about it too - and today I said, i’ll tell you when anything changes, I don’t know anymore than you at the mo as it’s the same as it was on Monday 🙄 stupid body!!

@HE88 ahh I can definitely imagine it’s hard not to stress too much - I often think I’m being a Monica (I’m breezy) with this whole ttc, but I think underneath it all I’m actually stressing about it. I know I definitely feel frustrated and that can’t help!

I have been a bit more open with my old school friends this last week as a few have had babies (one has an 8 and 4 yr old, the other 2 have children that are just about a year) and all 3 were like “oh god don’t talk to me about the ttc months - there is such a lack of information/it was stressful/lonley/hard work etc etc” it was really nice to hear as it can be so easy to forget that others may have had tricky journeys too! I found them easier to talk to than my friends that are pregnant now in all honesty! I swear if men were the ones having babies the population would have died out years ago!

@VP91x also - hows it been with mil around for dtd opportunities? xx

@MichT4 oh tell me about it! I already feel a massive weight has been lifted. I'm all booked in now with a specialist in miscarriages and cycle issues for the 27th, it's not for a week and a bit so maybe AF will visit me by then and I'll welcome her with open arms!!!

How are you doing? How is the bleeding? Hope its starting to slow down and not been too difficult to manage. You're so brave going into work as well, I just about had the energy to get up and brush my teeth when it happened to me.

@VP91x carvery and wine sounds lush. I hope the day has been nice and relaxing, and you get some BDing in for ov day too fx! That Soy has worked a treat!

@MrsK21 that’s amazing it’s so soon. I hope you get some answers. It’s good to have it if AF comes or not as there’s something either way they can help with.
I am fine thank you. Bleeding has calmed right down today, had a heavy day or two but I think it’s pretty much gone. I plan to test tomorrow on both PG and OPK and see where I’m at.
Work has really helped, the days have gone quicker and seeing my work friends has just helped me think of other things. Especially when OH is working and I’m sat home alone, my mind wanders and my fingers google.
I feel weirdly positive about the next steps, either we fall quickly or we have a step towards some answers maybe. I know which I’d prefer but I’ve settled with the fact either are ok xx

Just catching up after work and I'm really sorry so many of you are feeling low... there have already been so much great advice and I don't have any wise words to add but I'm thinking about all of you and really hoping that we all get the rainbow babies we deserve ❤️

@2020wish saw this on another thread and apparently there's no CM if you're not pregnant in your TWW so hopefully it's a good sign for you!

@Bellabubble oh that's so so annoying, have you had this before? I hope it just starts properly soon so you can move onto your next cycle, being in limbo is just the worst. When do you finish for the summer? Yeah she has gone now, we managed to DTD both nights 🥳 it was super quick, quiet and weird with her being downstairs 😂😂

@VP91x I'm hoping the appointment comes round quick and I'm so grateful I managed to get it booked. Seeing my parents next week which will hopefully keep me busy and occupied till it rolls round ☺️

@VP91x how did Bella get on with potty training? A whole load of washing to do when she got home? Work was mental, I'm just so busy at the moment and so exhausted when I get home, OH was still at work when I got in and I just got into bed as soon as I walked through the door 💤 xx

@MichT4 forgot to reply earlier but no I'm not telling work, think the legal requirement is 15weeks before due date, I'll probably go with that if I get that far ☺️ how is your OH doing now? x

@SmileyT of course you will get that far.
He is fine, not sure if that’s because he actually is or just not talking. I’m doing enough for both of us and I’m trying to get him involved in it. I think he’s just terrified of it happening again. As am I.
I do feel bad, he’s younger than me and I’m worried he’s wasting his opportunity on me. I just read a terrifying article about conceiving in your 30’s and as I approach 35 I’m very much aware of it xx

@MichT4 you are not the only one... I always had in my head I'd have 3 kids before 30 as I'd read how hard it was after but there are so many wonderful mummies out there in their 30s so don't panic... keep that PMA and I'll do the same xx

Also, dont think like that, he loves you and that is why he wants to have children with you. Lots of women have babies now in their 30s for many reasons xx

@SmileyT you'll definitely get that far, stay positive ❤️ yeah loads of washing 🙈 it was fairly successful. Lots of accidents in the morning, but had a great afternoon. No accidents when she got home either and used her steps to the toilet so really proud of her.

Rest up loads, the early weeks are so so draining xx

@2020wish yeah she ended up staying two nights, we just have sex quickly and quietly! How are you xx
