@pugprincess is horrible at any time but especially through covid. When I left epu they said if I needed to come bk in to just ring but when I did ring they did everything to keep me away. My husband came in on the day it all happened as he didn't want me being on my own and they just sat him in a different room as he was panicking. My husband was 39 in May and ill be 36 in September so we're hoping it happens soon. I wish we tried earlier but I had leg issues where I had to have an operation which put a spanner in the works where I had to be on blood thinners which I came off in jan so we tried straight away and it worked but sadly ended.

Wishingfornumber2 · 14/07/2020 09:26

@Pugprincess I’m so sorry to hear what you have been through. X

@VP91x yay to the static smiley! I‘m not using them this month as they annoyed me too much lol so pleased you have got your static! X

Firevie · 14/07/2020 09:31

@Pugprincess @Lynz2020 - so sorry about your losses! It is horrible that on top of that you had a bad hospital experience. I’m going in for my ERPC this evening - so far doctors and nurses have been good. Head nurse is allowing my hubby in - he will be sat in our room only and can’t move around but at least he will be there. I think it is almost harder for him because he has had to see me go through this and because he can’t do anything other than be there and wait but he doesn’t even know how much support and how much of a rock he has been. I really feel so lucky every day when I wake up next to him because he really is amazing! Ok gushy emotional stuff over haha! I am feeling strong and confident and can’t wait for ERPC so I can hopefully just move on. @MichT4 - absolutely know what you mean - you feel bad for wanting to move on but I think we need to and shouldn’t beat ourselves up about it. Sending all of you wonderful strong ladies some positive vibes for the day. Xxx

littletandme · 14/07/2020 09:36

11dpo and line progression from yesterday. Hope you get some nice strong lines @MrsK21 @BabyNR1!

@Firevie I’m so glad they are allowing your husband in while you have the procedure. I hope it all goes well and please update us on how you are when you feel you can.

@Wishingfornumber2 thank you ❤️

@Lynz2020 but despite your age you got pregnant so quickly and I hear it’s meant to be better after a miscarriage. It’s still really early days. I’m sure I read when ttc each cycle is a 25% chance of conceiving. It’s like a numbers and luck game isn’t it. Hard when it feels like some people are always in the good statistics. Hate how we have ended up in the bad 😔

VP91x · 14/07/2020 09:41

@Lollol86 either easy at home or Femometer OPKs are the favs. I've been doing SMEP the last couple of cycles. I would definitely say if you know roughly when you ovulate and it is a bit later in the cycle then start a bit later. I wasn't going to start until CD12 this month, but done Cd11 because I was feeling super twingey. My OH definitely felt the pressure last month even though he didn't know I was trying to follow SMEP. But, it also depends on your OH sex drive etc xx

@Pugprincess It was a shock because I was convinced it would take us months. For it to then happen but be taken away. It's gutting especially because all of our friends have kids all the same age and another got pregnant with her 1st in October and she's due in a couple of weeks. She's mid 20s, got pregnant 3 months after getting married. Just need some luck for once. Hopefully it will happen soon for all of us.

MrsK21 · 14/07/2020 09:48

@littletandme so lovely to see your lines progressing nicely! Congrats! My FRERs are arriving today so I'll use it tomorrow with FMU x

Pugprincess · 14/07/2020 09:54

@Lynz2020 yes I know that feeling! I likened it to winning the lottery and then being told your numbers are wrong. Gone from feeling the luckiest to the unluckiest x

chloedancer897 · 14/07/2020 09:55

@Lollol86 I did SMEP this month and it was very stressful. My OH did not like the regiment of it. I'm 11DPO so don't know if it's worked yet

2020wish · 14/07/2020 10:13

Morning ladies. 6dpo today. Feeling blah! Think I’ve ate something dodgy yesterday lol How we all feeling today?

Lollol86 · 14/07/2020 10:36

@chloedancer897 @VP91x thank you. Ok I think we will try later. My husband has a really Hugh sex drive, but this cycle we had sex 5 days in a row and he was struggling so just trying to take a different approach this time. Fingers crossed it works!

chloedancer897 · 14/07/2020 10:39

@Lollol86 I just think it was the structure of it all. No spontaneity that ruined it for him

HE88 · 14/07/2020 10:48

@Renna how are you doing? Af is due on Sunday for me is that the same for you? Xx

Yay to your static smiley @VP91x glad you managed to dtd! Xx

Hi @Pugprincess welcome to the group sorry to hear what you went through sounds awful. Xx

Lollol86 · 14/07/2020 10:56

@chloedancer897 I get what you mean. As woman we like to know we have given our bodies the beat chance though. It’s definitely not as fun having a structure.

Lollol86 · 14/07/2020 10:56

Best not beat

Pugprincess · 14/07/2020 11:05

Thank you @HE88 nice to not feel so alone in this and will keep you all updated on my cycles etc. Obviously at the moment I’m waiting for the bleeding to stop and I have to do the pregnancy tests to check the hormones have left me. They sent me home with 3 tests so I might do one this Thursday (a week after miscarriage started) and then another by the 23rd as that’s the date the hospital wanted me to do one by. I would try before period but I will have no idea when I will ovulate and I want to make sure I don’t get an infection if cervix isn’t closed yet. Least I would know my dates then too. For our pregnancy we didn’t use tests etc just did it twice around mid cycle. I’ve tried all sorts over the years, ovulation tests-even clear blue expensive ones, discharge observation, cervix examinations, fertility lube, basal temps, heck we even tried wearing a moon cup to keep sperm up there! I honestly think I just was working too much and wasn’t relaxed. So I’ve got to change my lifestyle now so I’m only working one job not two so I’m hoping that will help. I was leaving my house 7.30am and at school all day then I would go off to my second job so I wouldn’t be home till about 8pm then it was bath dinner and bed-no life. Probably 6 hours sleep a night which I need about 8/9. No time to cook good food just quick easy meals. School doesn’t start till late August so hopefully period will have been by then and we can be trying 🤞🏻 Good luck everyone! X

Northernsoul90 · 14/07/2020 11:41

Thank you @MrsK21 @VP91x @VP91x ☺️

@SmileyT I need to start doing them again I got a faint positive so kind of gave up but hearing that you ovulated a few days after a faint positive has given me some hope. How are you feeling? Xx

@MichT4 hope you are feeling okay today, not at all insensitive thinking of ttc again it's the only thing that's got me through focusing on that goal after mc xx

@Pugprincess So sorry for your loss, it is such a hard thing to go through. Wishing you lots of luck in ttc 🌈✨🤞🏼

@littletandme Lovely line progression!! Congrats 🥳✨

chloedancer897 · 14/07/2020 11:57

@Lollol86 yes absolutely. I feel like it's a good method. I'll let you know if it works!😊🤞

Tink20058 · 14/07/2020 12:07

Quick update from me, went for my nhs scan this morning and all healthy 🌈🌈🌈 13+4 so now I’m going to start enjoying it a bit and relaxing xxx

1990EM · 14/07/2020 12:08

Away for a few days with dodgy internet but trying my best to catch up here. @MichT4 I felt the same about diving straight back in, when I first MC i was adamant that I would wait a few months but even before the bleeding stopped I was ready to go again. And thats perfectly ok.

Lovely to see some positive tests! Will be keeping up as best as I can. Even though I'm not commenting loads I am cheering and praying for everyone whether it's good news or bad ❤

1990EM · 14/07/2020 12:09

@VP91x delighted about the static!!!!

mumoftoddlerandteen · 14/07/2020 12:12

Hi can I join this thread please?

We have been ttc since December and sadly suffered a mc at 6-7 weeks in April this year :(

We started ttc again after my first period after the mc (wasn’t a normal one it was about ten days long) in late May/early June and this is now our second month ttc since then.

According to my ovulation sticks (clear blue) I ovulated around 27th June (I always get two smileys in a row - does anyone else?!) and so I’m now about 17dpo.

I got a false positive on a clear blue pregnancy test last month so haven’t wanted to test this month until I’m sure I’ve missed a period but my cycles can be a little irregular.

My boobs have been quite sore and heavy up until today when they feel not so sore and I’m convinced the witch is on her way!!

Anyway, I’m just getting a bit upset about it all now. Every time it doesn’t happen again it just reminds me of the little one we lost :( I’ve stupidly told people about the mc and that we are ttc so I’m getting sick of people asking and thinking why was I so stupid to tell people. I’m normally very private.

To top it off a couple of my close friends have now told me they are pregnant - one after the first try!

I’m just posting for a bit of a ‘get it off my chest’ really as I’m feeling sad x

Lollol86 · 14/07/2020 12:16

@MichT4 it’s definitely not insensitive at all. This time was my second miscarriage but not one after the other, however this time both me and hubby said we can’t go through that again but within a couple of days we changed our minds. He initially was dead set on not trying as he said he couldn’t watch me go through it again, I said to him though if we don’t we have been through all of this for nothing. My last mc was before I had my second child and when I first had the mc everyone would say everything happens for a reason and I absolutely hated peoples saying that to me, when I had my 2nd daughter I knew exactly what they meant and I was glad I went though that as I wouldn’t have Neve otherwise.
